We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hilton Mall of Istanbul. Everything was truly perfect—from the hotel facilities to the wide range of activities and suggestions for what to do in the area. We literally felt at home, and even decided to extend our stay by an additional week because we enjoyed it so much.

One of the main reasons we felt so comfortable and welcomed was without a doubt the amazing staff member Ceylan. She took care of us as if the hotel was her own home rather than her workplace. The warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care she showed made all the difference. Our children — and we as parents — felt treated like family, and there was never a moment where a wish or request was left unanswered.

Ceylan, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our stay unforgettable and truly special. We will always remember your kindness and hospitality.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul — especially families. We can’t wait to return! 💛

Hilton Hotel Mall of Istanbul proved to be a fantastic choice for our stay. The location is incredibly convenient — right next to one of Istanbul’s largest malls with endless dining, shopping and entertainment options literally steps from the entrance. It made our one night layover much more enjoyable than staying in the airport.

The hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms that feel thoughtfully laid out. Service was consistently friendly and professional. Highly recommended for a layover of at least 12 hours for shopping, eating local foods and immersing in local culture.

I arrived at the hotel around 10 PM. Reception initially gave me room 2012, but the key did not work. The bellboy contacted reception and they assigned another room, 2011. When I entered the room, it was not properly cleaned. The carpet was dirty and there were no tissues. I was exhausted after a long journey, so I did not report the issue that night.

The next day, I informed reception about the room condition. They said housekeeping would take care of it. We went out and returned in the evening. When we came back, the carpet was still dirty. They had only placed some tissues. The bathroom smelled very bad and was a complete disaster.

I contacted reception again to report the issue. There was clearly no proper handover between shifts because the night staff were not aware of my earlier complaints. I had to ask how many times I needed to report the same room issue.

Overall, this was a horrible experience for me. The only good things were the location, which is inside a mall in Istanbul, the outside balcony view, and the food, which was amazing. The location and view were good, but the room was in very poor condition. Housekeeping and reception need serious improvement.

This hotel is highly not recommended. Reason one: The front desk staff were unfriendly and impolite. When we checked in, our flight was delayed and our child was hungry. We asked for expedited check-in, but they were very unhappy with us and even berated us. Reason two: The room amenities were old and unclean. First, the sheets had several obvious stains. Second, the bathroom towels were old and shed lint; the bathroom floor was moldy and yellowed; the lotion bottle was empty; the toilet seat was crooked; and the hotel slippers were moldy and yellowed. Reason three: The breakfast selection was limited and the food was unpalatable. The only advantage is the large shopping mall downstairs, but because of this mall, traffic to the hotel is extremely congested. The airport is also not close to the hotel, requiring more than 35 minutes to reach. Therefore, overall, it was a very unsatisfactory stay, which significantly diminishes the reputation of the Hilton hotel brand.
