I recently had the pleasure of staying at The First Ottoman Suites, and my experience was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect, making it a truly memorable stay.

Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive. We have booked the place for 4 dats, few weeks in advance. Less than 24 hours before the date, the reservation was cancelled noting declined credit card details as cited in the previous reviews.
the property was not answering the calls from booking.com costumer support. It seems like the property does not exist or rather intentionally disregarding our communications. After cancelling our booking, the property was re-listed but the cost was marked up to more than 2x (twice) much as the original price.
Absolute no respect to other people and I can believe that this kind of business still exist. It feels like scamming people.
For those who are looking for a place to stay in Istanbul. Beware. You've been warned.

The location is very good. I got an apartment on the roof with a big terrace with a nice view. As it was winter time, I had the terrace all for me. I think in the summer it will be commonly used by others which can be anoying.
You will hear the Seagull all the time.
The apartment is equiped with all necessary items, but simple.
Unfortunately, the bathroom has a bad smell. Although the staff tried to do something, but the smell remains.
The staff are very friendly and attent.
The cleaning lady was very nice and tried everything to make stay comfortable.

"I stayed three nights at this hotel. It was very quiet, clean, and the breakfast was very good. I was impressed by the owner’s behavior—very polite and friendly. The exterior view was beautiful, and events were organized every night. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would come back to this hotel again. It is very peaceful and close to the clothing market."

Also, the property was not answering the calls from booking.com costumer support. It seems like the property does not exist or rather intentionally disregarding our communications. After cancelling our booking, the property was re-listed but the cost was marked up to more than 2x (twice) much as the original price. What a rip-off!! We ended up looking for a new accomodation less than 6 hours before we depart the airport. Otherwise, we would have no place to stay in Istanbul.

First accomodation i’m rating one star. Our treatment changed after we handed over the full payment. Lack of professionalism by the manager and young boy (son’s owner apparently) who sits at the front desk with an ego and doesn’t acknowledge you again after you have paid. Upon check in they moved us to a completely different building due to “plumbing” issues, seems to be a bit of a recurring story based on the google reviews. Room also lacks basic amenities and is not a true reflection shown in photos! We ended up checking out earlier than planned to go to a better hotel and was not offered any form of refund or compensation.

DO NOT BOOK under any circumstances. I had a reservation with the hotel six months ago. Once I landed in Istanbul, they decided to cancel my stay. Without warning, without answering and without giving me any solution. So if you don't want to arrive and sleep on the street.
