Lancelot Hotel in Istanbul

The worst "hotel" we've ever been! First of all, we were staying here for 5 nights and the housekeeper "clean" our room just 1 day! We threw the trash from the buckets for the first 3 days, the bed sheets were torn and that one day that TAMARA, the "housekeeper" cleaned our room, happened the FATAL SCENE !!!! Firstly, all our clothes were on the floor and the sheets not changed, but the housekeeper just laid them. SHE STOLE OUR SUNGLASSES!!! The morning of that day my friend put the sunglasses in her backpack and she put the bag on the floor and when we just arrived in the room at night, the sunglasses from the backpack were not there!!! IT'S RIDICULOUS !!!! We searched in the room(everywhere) and nothing!!!! We asked from them, to call the police because here in Turkey we cannot use our phone numbers, and they told us NO. CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS and especially TAMARA the housekeeper !!!! Also, no payment with card, only cash (RIDICULOUS), no water for 2 hours the last morning, no english from "receptionists", the receptionist one night wore slippers and had a pillow on the sofa!!!! THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT WE'VE HAD IN ISTANBUL !!!!

Holiday from hell! Area is noisy, opposite a police station housing noisy criminals. Booked three family rooms hoping to be together but were given rooms in 3 separate buildings as they claimed that they were unable to find our booking, although booked through travel agent
Rooms were dirty with leaking Aircon and no running water available for washing or toilet. Restaurant separate to hotel but outside on busy street with no facilities for a family. Fell down wet stairs that had not been labelled as wet floor causing injury. Advertised as a three star, wouldn't even rate it a one star unfortunately! One star given for proximity to the main tourist sites in Istanbul. Avoid!
