Madame Roza in Istanbul

My experience was extremely disappointing and unlike anything I've encountered before.
First, I have serious concerns about the hygiene.
Although housekeeping entered the room every day, it often felt untouched — there was visible dust and a strange, unpleasant smell throughout our stay. Even more concerning, the cleaning staff repeatedly moved our personal belongings without permission, including items like a toothbrush. At one point, they even threw away a bouquet of flowers without asking, which is completely unacceptable.
The biggest issue happened on our last night. Up until then, the hospitality had been great - we were warmly welcomed and most of the staff were kind and professional. However, one receptionist (a man with glasses) completely ruined the experience.
A friend of ours came to our room late in the evening because she had trouble returning to her accommodation. The plan was for her to stay for about 30 minutes while we arranged transport.
Within just 5 minutes, the receptionist contacted us and told us that more than 3 people were not allowed in the room, and that if she didn't leave immediately, he would call "assistance."

When I went down to speak with him, I even offered to pay for an additional room just for that night. He refused, claiming the hotel was fully booked which was clearly not true, as rooms were still available on their website and the hotel itself appeared almost empty.
His attitude was extremely dismissive and lacked any basic understanding or flexibility. He simply said he didn't care and couldn't do anything.
It's a shame because the rest of the staff and the hotel itself were good. This one situation completely ruined the entire stay for us.

very bad experience, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone I like. first of all, when we entered the room we found two packs of condoms from previous guests and in the our other room we found a credit card as well. the shower head was halfway working as it was broken and during our stay it completely broke. nobody cared to replace it so taking a bath was a real struggle. the only good thing is that our towels were being refreshed every day, and they put small water bottles for us. other than that cleaning could be a lot better. location was good as far as the distance between the hotel and the busy streets but there's a school right nextdoor so be prepared for a lot of noise, not to mention the church bells for the prayers 3 times a day.
