I recently stayed at the Grand Emir Hotel in Istanbul. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Grand Bazaar and other major attractions, making it convenient for sightseeing.
The rooms were clean and equipped with basic amenities like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. However, the furnishings felt a bit dated, and the room size was smaller than expected.
Breakfast was included, but the variety and quality could be improved.
Staff were generally helpful, though there were moments when communication was a bit challenging due to language barriers.
Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option in a prime location and can overlook some of the shortcomings in amenities and service, the Grand Emir Hotel is a decent choice.

Good and economical hotel to stay with in Istanbul. Rooms are small. Service is satisfactory. Located in Grand Bazzar main heart of the city.

Not really as I thought a lot of noise in the hotel breakfast still not even much

Very disappointing stay – would not recommend! The staff is completely unprofessional and not serious. There was no warm welcome, and no one seemed to care about guest comfort. The housekeeping staff made a lot of noise early in the morning, making it impossible to get any rest. The room had no view at all, and the window faced noisy tailoring workshops that were loud all day long. For a hotel that’s supposed to offer peace and quiet, this was a total failure. I won’t be coming back, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Horrible. I m here with my daughter and my husband. One small double bed for 3 persons. Mold everywhere around me. How can i take my money back?

Best hotel in town !
The hotel is very well located, close to the Grand Bazaar. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. We had a very nice stay for our honeymoon.
Special mention to the cleaning lady, the very professional receptionists and the night auditor, they all made sure that our stay was perfect.

Really appreciated the hotel. Clean rooms and common parts, nice breakfast and friendly staff. If you’re searching for a comfort in the heart of the historic Istanbul, this is the place. The location is top, there are stops of all types of transport nearby.
