Airport shuttle was confusing but found, hotel has no lift, they given me on 3rd floor room, despite i was pointed that i am 66 years of age requested to change but room was available to 2nd floor, next day1st floor room was available but they didn't offer me. Staff working for breakfast were very good.

Staff was helpful. Location is excellent, walkable to most of the attractions in the old town. Free Turkish breakfast is a plus.
The property itself has some character and charm, but is a bit dated. We have no hot water for one night.

Beautiful hotel ..great service by the front office especially Byram. Great location very accessible to all the historical sites.

Wow, I recently had the most incredible hotel experience! The staff was unbelievably friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everything, from the room's cleanliness to the delicious breakfast, exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to all the sights we wanted to see. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone!

This was a really nice surprise! Such friendly people and a fantastic view from the upper levels. The room was quaintly authentic and the bed was actually comfortable. It was quiet and I had a great night's sleep. What an amazing and delicious breakfast selection! The location was great. I will come back again when I have more time to explore Istanbul.

It was a small, cozy and quiet hotel but it is close to sultan ahmed park, topkapi palace, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque.

It is also near the street where many restaurants are, but quite far to avoid the noise from many people hanging out there. So you can sleep and rest well at night.

You can easily reach the hotel by train or trem. For Indonesian, this hotel is also walking distance from Warung ibu Deden and Zekir Gallery.

The hotel is clean and tidy. They clean our room and change the towel everyday.

We received great hospitality from the host, he take our luggage up to 3rd floor since there is no lift here. But no worries, the storey is not high, especially if you are stay outside the hotel more during the day. So you only go down and up once in a day.

The breakfast served in turkish food but it taste good and acceptable for my Asian tongue. The lady runs the breakfast area also very nice.

I booked 2 different types of room, the higher class for 2 nights and standard for 3 nights. The host gave me free upgrade because he didnt want to bother me moving room and all the luggage. So I can stay at the same higher class room for 5 night. That was very kind and helpful.

We were in Istanbul for 3 weeks, traveled 6300km and stayed in at least 13 other hotels along the way. Esans was by far our favorite. It's all about the people here. The staff are truly fabulous and just really nice people. Tan at the front desk was endlessly helpful with any and everything. Directions. Restaurants. Transit info. Any information you may need. His English is very good which is very helpful. The breakfast lady, Sebo (sp?) is also lovely and has the best breakfast of all the hotels we stayed in. She varies it a little every day and it is all fresh and tasty. The hotel itself is within walking distance of many of the historic attractions and you won't need to wander far to find food. Cabs are readily available not half a block up. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Beware, their discount room is VERY small. We booked it by accident first 2 days. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Istanbul to walk as much as possible. We only kept our rental car for when we were not in the city and it was perfect. If we go back to Istanbul we wont stay anywhere but at Esans.
