Description

The Marmara Antalya is a distinctive hotel built in 2005, featuring a unique 3-story revolving building called the Revolving Loft that slowly rotates 360 degrees throughout the day. It offers 232 rooms, 88% of which have partial or full sea views. Located on the high shore of Lara, the hotel combines an urban setting with direct access to its private 80-meter long beach via an underground tunnel. Its design was created by a French architect, making it visually striking. Facilities include two restaurants (one a la carte), three bars, a spa center with free Turkish bath and sauna, and eight conference halls with capacities up to 1000 people. The hotel is recommended for travelers seeking unusual experiences and a quieter environment, as it suggests a calm stay without children. Pets up to 5 kg are allowed with a fee. Free WiFi is available in the lobby and internet cafe. Guests can also enjoy outdoor amenities like an open pool, fitness center, and free parking.

Great location, spacious room, minimalistic but practical, great panoramic views both for the sea and city. I stayed here for the second time. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, breakfast places, Microcenter just opposite the hotel. I didn’t try spa, but I saw the spa menu: very impressive.

The hotel is new, comfortable, and tasteful. The sea is just down the stairs, and there are plenty of cafes nearby.

My experience staying at the Marmara Hotel was truly infuriating, and I will calmly recount this series of outrageous encounters, based on facts.

From the moment I entered the hotel, the front desk service was uncomfortably cold—a formulaic greeting lacked warmth, and their expressions were as indifferent as if they were treating an object. This attitude wasn't directed at us personally, but observing that other guests were also treated in the same way clearly reveals a serious problem within the hotel's service system.

Upon entering the room, the primary comfort factor was extinguished: the air conditioning was completely inoperative. When I first contacted the front desk, the response was, "Just close the windows," a disconcerting lack of professional judgment. After doing so, the problem persisted, and I called again, only to be told they'd "arrange for an electrician to check" without any specific timeframe. Even more infuriating, the staff who came to make our beds not only failed to address the air conditioning issue but, to facilitate their own work, haphazardly dumped our backpacks on the made beds. This demonstrated a complete lack of respect for guests' property and made us question the hotel's hygiene practices.

With temperatures outside at 37 degrees Celsius, the room was a living hell. We sweltered for hours, yet the hotel offered no apology or proactive remedies. Only after repeated requests did they finally deliver a fan. Repeated calls to the front desk to inquire about progress were met with a cold "OK" followed by a callous hang-up. When we finally reached the front desk, the staff member closest to the door rudely shouted, "The technician's gone!"—a gesture that only added fuel to the fire after we'd already endured the stifling heat for over an hour.

To complicate matters, we discovered the bathtub drain was also clogged, forcing us to request repairs again. From the air conditioning malfunction to the clogged drain, we endured nearly two hours of rude treatment and indifference from the hotel.

Our high hopes for a vacation were completely shattered by this hotel, and we ultimately had to leave the city a day early. As travelers who have stayed in hundreds of hotels across Asia, Europe, and Africa, we can responsibly state that the service and facilities at the Marmara Hotel are the worst we have ever encountered, bar none.

We strongly urge Ctrip to intervene and mediate, and we also demand that the Marmara Hotel's representatives provide us with a formal and reasonable explanation and resolution regarding this poor accommodation experience.

We stayed in a deluxe room, on the 2nd day the curtain came off the 3-4 rings of the cornice, this curtain was not fixed during our stay. I do not recommend you to eat at the hotel, there is no flavor, an uncooked chicken was served. The breakfasts are very standard and the same things are served every 2 days. The water pastry we ate on the first day was very nice, but they heated the same water pastry for 5 days and made it dry and served it for breakfast. There is honey every day but why is there no clotted cream every day! The smiling face and attention of the staff ***meat was good, the location of the hotel is great, the view is perfect

Tiles and decor like a 1995 model hotel. The room smelled of paint, the breakfast was good. I do not recommend it.

The reception staff is very polite and helpful.

The rooms are big and clean

The only thing that surprises me is the tastelessness and incompetence in the decoration of the hotel rooms.

If an architect made this decoration, his diploma should be taken away from him and the necessary information should be given to students who will take the university exam in high schools and equivalent schools as a warning to the school he studied in.

I made a reservation from Trip.com including breakfast but it was sad that it was shown as room only at the reception.

We opted for a sea-view room, and it was absolutely worth it! Waking up to the breathtaking view of the ocean every morning was a highlight of our stay.

The breakfast spread was extensive and truly amazing, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes.

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Most of them spoke and understood English well, which made communication smooth and easy.

Getting around was hassle-free, as it was easy to find cabs from the hotel. Parking is also available.

Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
