Club Monte Carlo Hotel in Konakli

We stayed here in October, it was our 1st time visiting Turkey and we wouldn’t ever return going on our experience to the Club Tess Hotel. We were All Inclusive and forgive me if I have got this wrong but the only alcoholic beverages we were allowed to have were Vodka, Beer or wine (red or white). I asked for a Gin and tonic and a Bacardi and Coke and was the told to go to the supermarket. Meal times we felt like we were back in school having to queue in a single file until we could try and decide what it was we were actually being offered. As for the rooms, patio door did not lock, shower door would not shut and was not suitable for anyone over 7 stone. Water leaked through the ceiling, no room changing of towels or bedding in the 8 days we stayed there. Like someone else mentioned we were told that we had to leave with no notice. Staff did not speak any English and used google translate to try and communicate with you, when you thought you might have got somewhere with them to complain it was just laughed at and the response was you bought cheap you got cheap. PLEASE ALL REMEMBER THIS AS THIS IS THIS HOTELS ATTITUDE, they have no respect for their customers, their attitude is absolutely disgusting and I will never return to Turkey ever again.

The hotel has an annex located down the road which we were placed in the first night, it has NO facilities, we weren’t even able to get a drink, moved to main hotel next day. Rooms were never cleaned whilst we stayed.
The only bar was by the pool which served a limited number of drinks.
The only entertainment was a dancer by the pool in the afternoon and evening.
The worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at, avoid at all cost.

"A Hell Hole" this is far from a four star hotel, the rooms are dirty, showers don't work well, air con is hit and miss, food tasteless slop, no enough sun beds for the guests, no small pool the photos on the website were taken a few years ago and nothing like the hotel now. It's cheap but they have not even got the basics right. Not many staff can speak english and seem to be fed up as they don't really care. Don't waste your money on this dump it will cost you so much more in the end and you won't wait to get home.

Club Tess? More like Club Mess

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stay in a hotel where the cleaning staff appear to be on a 6-day sabbatical, look no further than Club Tess. Our room was finally cleaned on day six of a seven-day holiday – I guess they wanted to make sure we had a sparkling floor to admire as we packed our suitcases.

The bed was so rock-hard it made me wonder if they just threw a sheet over a wooden pallet. And the shower? More of a DIY paddling pool, where water fills up nicely around your ankles because drainage is clearly optional here.

Entertainment was a real highlight… if you find silence entertaining. The so-called animation team were as mythical as unicorns, but thankfully we had the hotel playlist – on repeat 3 to 4 times a day – to keep us sane. Nothing like hearing the same tracks on loop until you start questioning reality.

The food was another delight. Imagine something so bland and unappealing that even prison kitchens would send it back with a complaint – and you’re close. For those hoping to relax by the pool, enjoy the filthy sun lounger cushions while trying not to notice the disgusting toilets nearby. The sink in the pool area was also a nice touch: it sprayed more water from the back than from the tap itself, so you could enjoy a shower while washing your hands.

Staff? Exceptionally rude unless you happen to be a young girl or Russian, in which case they suddenly roll out the red carpet. Security is also questionable – guests had things taken from their rooms. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more “authentic,” there was also fight between a manager and a guest. Five-star entertainment right there!

They advertise a lobby bar – but that must be a figment of someone’s imagination, because it simply does not exist. Same goes for the waterslide, which was about as visible as Bigfoot.

Club Tess is sold as a 4-star experience. In reality? One star is generous. The only positive I can see is that after staying here, any other hotel in your future travels will feel like the Ritez.

If you ain't from russia, dont come to this hotel. Cuz they don't pay attention to turkish or from other else countries people. I really hate them.
