Alarcha Hotels - Resort in Manavgat

We stayed in May 2024. The food was the same every day. There was a noticeable sewage smell in the restaurant, and many guests complained about it. The rooms were okay. Considering the price we paid, it was worth it, but the hygiene could definitely be improved. On the positive side, the beach was beautiful, and the beach bar was really lovely.

Hotel Review- Stay from October 11th to 18th, 2025

I’ve traveled a lot over the years — sometimes on my own, backpacking and exploring “wild” routes, and sometimes staying in comfortable all-inclusive resorts. Each experience has taught me something different, so I always try to judge hotels fairly, considering their price and what they offer.

Hotel Staff:
Communication in English is possible, although the staff seem to focus mainly on Russian-speaking guests. Unfortunately, some of the behavior at the reception was quite unprofessional. I completely understand that we are in Turkey and that Turkish is the local language — I even know some myself — but speaking negatively about guests in Turkish, assuming they won’t understand, is unacceptable, especially in a hotel of this standard and price range.

Rooms:
Rooms 2001–2018 are very noisy. In the morning, you can hear deliveries and kitchen activity, and in the evening, loud noise comes from the bar area. Additionally, there was a noticeable sewage smell in this part of the hotel, which made entering the room area unpleasant.
Regarding cleaning, apart from making the bed and changing towels, I’m not sure much else was done. We even left a note asking the staff to remove empty glasses and rubbish.

Food and Drinks:
The food was not very well-seasoned, although this is a matter of personal preference. As is often the case with all-inclusive resorts, there was some repetition, but overall it was acceptable.
The drinks were good, and the bartenders were friendly and easy to communicate with. There are two snack bars — one by the pool and one on the beach — both offering similar, simple but tasty food, perfect for a quick bite.
If you get tired of the hotel cuisine, I highly recommend asking the reception to arrange transportation to Chiko Restaurant, located in the middle of a large bazaar. The food there was absolutely phenomenal — one of my best culinary experiences in Turkey, with excellent value for money.

Entertainment:
Since we stayed outside the main tourist season, this likely affected the entertainment. Apart from nightly singing performances, not much was happening. The animators did encourage guests to join activities such as water polo, darts, and the evening disco.

Hotel Grounds:
The hotel and its surroundings are very well maintained. The staff take great care of the cleanliness of the public areas, toilets, and gardens. The hotel is located among other resorts, with two nearby bazaars offering convenient shopping.
Please note that the beach is rocky — I strongly recommend wearing water shoes, as it’s easy to hurt your feet.

Overall:
Considering the price and what we received, I would rate this trip as successful and enjoyable overall.
