Stayed here for one week at the end of September in a double room with a sea view. Check-in was excellent — friendly staff helped us from the taxi, check-in was quick, and we were shown to our room straight away. First impressions were very good, and the hotel itself looks impressive. The room was spotless and comfortable, with everything working as it should. The air-conditioning only runs when the balcony door is shut, which is reasonable, and housekeeping was consistent apart from towels occasionally not being replaced (quickly sorted when we called reception). Food at the main buffet was very nice, especially the turkey and chicken dishes, although after six or seven days it did start to feel repetitive. The à la carte restaurant was excellent — large portions and five good courses. The bar service and drinks were strong, and we never struggled to find a table at mealtimes, even if we had to wait briefly on occasion. The pool area was lovely, though the sun loungers could do with upgrading as some have started to sag. The beach is stony but scenic, with plenty of loungers and clear water. Entertainment was mixed: daytime activities seemed limited, but the evening shows were at least amusing although do need to be mixed up from time to time. My partner used the gym and said it was very good. Staff overall were polite and helpful, though English is limited for some and communication between teams could be better. We didn’t really see management around, which might explain why small things go uncoordinated. The surrounding area has a few local shops, but Side town itself is a taxi ride away. The only real frustration was the lifts. There are four of them, but they’re painfully slow and overcrowded most of the time. The sensors are far too sensitive — with more than four people inside, an alarm goes off and the lift refuses to move. They rattle loudly, often announce the wrong floor, and feel overdue for an upgrade. Being on the top floor meant waiting ten minutes or more at busy times, which became tiresome. Overall, it’s a clean and well-run hotel with good facilities and food, but a few improvements — clearer signage, better loungers, and sharper communication — would make it excellent.

Absolutely terrible hotel. This is NOT a 5 star hotel. the ratings are misleading. Air conditioning DOES NOT work. Complained 3 times to reception and they said it was sorted. Other guests complained about the same issue. Food is the same every day. So boring and cold. We had to warm ours up in the microwave each time. One pool. The beach is 100 metres away across some grass which looks like a field. There is building works going next door. Facilities are very poor. WiFi is very poor and we had a blackout twice during our stay. I would not recommend this hotel as it’s not value for money.

Surely not a 5 start standard. Staff in bars and restaurants polite and friendly. Entertainment team during the day, haven’t exchanged the word with us through the whole stay. Entertainment at night, maybe 2-3 nights were good, rest rather dreadful. Guest relations. Non existing until you approach them yourself. The young girl Kseniya friendly and trying to help as much as she can. The other lady with an attitude like she’s there as a punishment. No customer skills whatsoever and no proactive approach to guests. Room was good, clean. Cleaned often, changed towels and bed sheets. Cleaning team was doing a good job. Food, first day I thought it wasn’t bad then realised everything is so repetitive and the quality of food not great. Some of management also not the most polite. Overall, food experience wasn’t great and definitely not on 5 star level. A la carte dinner, this wasn’t communicated to us until we actually asked then was told they were fully booked and could book us on a last day of our stay which we ended up cancelling. Hotel generally needs improvement and some investment as it looks a bit tired. This stay could definitely be better.

Room 1107A. Housekeeping is virtually non existent. Our 5th day and still no clean towels or bedding. Keep asking every day for coffee sachets to be replaced. Today we returned from a trip to find the bed hadn’t even been made properly. We always leave it tidy but expect it to be properly made and the runner and top pillows to be put in place, these were left on the table where we left them. Reception said it would all be done when I showed a photo I had taken, so we went to the pool for 2 hours. No actual cleaning has been done, bed still not made properly, vanity in bathroom we had to clean ourselves as well as the shaving mirror. The bath and sink haven’t been cleaned either. Balcony table still has tomato juice stains from 2 days ago and yesterday, ashtray was unemptied. Also, something I wasn’t going to add, but I will now because our complaints to reception have fallen on deaf ears, on arrival last Wednesday, we found a wad of long black hairs in bath plug hole, I’m totally grey and my husband has short hair. It’s a shame that the employee designated to clean our room properly has let the hotel down so badly. We are exceptionally widely travelled across the world and this is the worst service we have ever received

From the very start to arriving in Turkey with Love Holidays, it was a farce. I had paid for a taxi but was the last to leave the airport, running around trying to find it. On the way to the hotel, the driver even stopped for a coffee break, clearly hoping we would buy something at his friend’s café — very annoying. On arrival at the hotel, there was nobody to carry bags or direct us to our room. Five stars? The biggest shock was the number of children running around everywhere — we had booked Adult Only. This was more like a 3-star hotel. The food was bang average. The room was okay, but tired. The pool area was never cleaned in the two weeks I was there. Tiles were missing, and there was a damaged wall which only got repaired after I made a comment. The beach is pebbly with a very strong undercurrent — dangerous. The à la carte restaurant was garbage — it served the same food as the main restaurant. Entertainment was very limited. It was just beat music all night. Some people might like that, but a bit of variety would have been nice. When I complained at the front desk, I was told it was Love Holidays’ fault. Trying to contact a rep was a joke — I was inundated by people claiming to be the rep. Love Holidays is definitely NOT a company I would advise using. On return to the UK, their attitude was, "It’s not our fault." I have photographic evidence to support my complaints. Oh, and there’s a building site next door — and it’s a journey to get to the nearest main town, restaurants, or bars.

Upon arrival, the aesthetics are quite impressive, staff are really friendly. The lobby bar is open 24hrs and the added late night meal buffet is a bonus if you arrive late. The entertainment is by the beach bar which is away from the hotel so you can sleep without the noise. HOWEVER I got terrible food poisoning and found out other guests had the same too. It was probably from fruit at the beach bar as I stopped eating this after I saw flies everywhere. Not much variety in restaurant, same meals everyday Rooms are very outdated. Paint peeling off walls, and very bad cleaning. The towels have no thread so very rough. Bought my own from the market This hotel will pass well for a 3 star and not 5.

If you’re from England, this place is more like a 3* at best – ignore the 5* rating, it’s nowhere near that standard. The food is very repetitive, the same every day for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was poor – mostly boiled veg, and the cooked breakfast looked very unappetising. No proper egg options, so I just stuck to cereal. The fruit was limited (only oranges, apples, and melon) and usually covered in flies. The canteen area felt dirty and cheap, with basic seating – I honestly dreaded going down, it felt like Groundhog Day every meal. The worst part is the location. The surrounding area is like a tip – rubbish everywhere, flies, and nothing nice nearby. Just a couple of very basic shops, not ideal if you want snacks like cereal bars or yoghurts. No ice cream available either, which was disappointing. Ac in room was also crap . As were the sun beds which dug into you Definitely not 5* – more like a budget 3*.

We were upgraded to a sea view room which was brilliant but unfortunately it did smell like cigarette smoke. The bed was comfy and it was nice and clean. The food was a bit of a let down unfortunately as it was very repetitive and quite difficult to make a cohesive meal some days. The a la carte was nice. Loved the pool entertainment such as water polo and aqua gym, the staff were walkways brilliant! A few things need sorting such as pool tiles loose and needing glueing down. We did have a lovely holiday but we booked a 5 star hotel and unfortunately I don’t think the hotel could now be classed as this and is more like a 3 star compared to other hotels. Maybe it was 5 in its prime but needs many adjustments to bring it up to scratch.

We spent 2 fantastic weeks. All has been perfect. A special mention for Yunus and Jakup: very kind and professional. But all the staff was very good. The room was always clean and perfect. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you. Igor.
