Top Stars Hotel in Abu Dhabi City

We booked this hotel online, and based on the photos they uploaded, the rooms looked nice, so we decided to proceed with the booking. Unfortunately, our stay was full of struggle and disappointment.

From the moment we arrived, we already faced problems. Finding parking was very difficult. Thankfully, the bellboy helped us and managed to secure a parking space for us—special thanks to him.

When we checked in, our key card was not working. This was the second issue we encountered. We were able to enter the room only with the help of the bellman, and again, we truly appreciated his kindness.

Once inside the room, the disappointment continued. Even from the outside, the room looked unclean and was extremely small. The bathroom was very dirty, the towels looked used, and the facilities were absolutely not worth the price we paid.

I need to work after we arrived, but the internet connection was extremely poor. Even using mobile data was very difficult. Because of this, we had to leave the hotel and sit elsewhere just to get a stable connection.

When we returned around midnight, the experience became even worse. We spent about 1 hour and 20 minutes driving around just to find parking. On top of that, the key card did not work again, so we had to return to the reception for the second time.

We wanted to relax and have a cup of coffee, but when we checked the kettle, it smelled terrible, as if someone had previously cooked noodles in it. We could not even eat or drink inside the room.

Overall:
• No proper parking
• Very dirty rooms
• Poor facilities
• Rude staff (except for the bellboy)
• Not worth the price

This was a very disappointing experience, and we would not recommend this hotel.

What you see in the picture is completely different in person. And also there’s no parking lot.

I recently stayed at Top Stars Hotel, and it was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
• Nothing like the photos:
The room in reality was completely different from what appeared in the pictures. Online it looks spacious and comfortable, but in person it was extremely small, cramped, and poorly arranged.
• Very dirty and poorly maintained:
The room was not clean at all. There were cockroaches in the room, dust everywhere, and clear signs of neglect. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable from the moment I entered.
• Broken and annoying furniture:
The furniture was old, damaged, and noisy. Every time I used anything, it made irritating sounds, and some pieces felt unsafe to even sit on. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price.
• Unprofessional front desk and room service:
The reception staff and room service team were extremely unprofessional. When I called the front desk with questions, they would answer briefly and then hang up the phone on me.
Room service also handed me items in a very rude and careless way, as if they were doing me a favor, not providing a service I actually paid for.
• Room key and elevator constantly not working:
My room key card almost never worked, and I had problems with it throughout my entire stay. The elevator also had issues and was unreliable the whole time. This caused a lot of inconvenience and wasted time.
• Air conditioner not adjustable:
The AC was freezing cold and I could not adjust the temperature or turn it off properly. I had to stay in an uncomfortably cold room with no solution, which made it very hard to relax or sleep.
• Bathroom in terrible condition:
The bathroom was very dirty, worn out, and clearly not maintained. The fixtures looked old and overused, and the overall feeling was far from clean or hygienic.

Overall, this was an awful and extremely disappointing experience.
I will never stay at this hotel again, and I strongly do not recommend it to anyone under any circumstances.

Considering the very poor quality, terrible service, and lack of cleanliness, the price is way too high and absolutely not worth it. This hotel is overpriced, misrepresented, and completely below basic standards.
