They have paid parking, charging about £15 a night, which seems to be the standard for all the hotels in the area. Hotel is in a great position at the top of Broad Street, greeted with a smile at reception and the room was ready early which was a bonus.  The twin room was on the 15th floor with great views over Edgbaston. The hotel is well located in the town centre within walking distance of Snow Hill train station. The hotel seems to be sound proofed as you cannot hear the traffic as the hotel is on the main road. The price was very good £156 for 3 nights including breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

It's very conveniently located within walking distance of Birmingham New Street train station and right next to Chinatown, which is fantastic for those who love Chinese food. The facilities fully met our needs, and the hot water was excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel offers luggage storage.

The location of the hotel is good. But there is still a pile of crackers in the room, and the cleaning is not clean enough. Moreover, I booked a family room for one night. The bed was not prepared. When I went back to the room at night, I found that I had to go to the front desk for help. Because it will take an hour for someone to reply through WhatsApp.

Booked family rooms - 1 bed and sofa bed .. not all rooms were suitable.  Got changed to twins without hesitation. TV limited due to no volume. Good breakfast and free hot drinks in reception. Bathroom facilities good - hot water 👍

All staff awesome, location for utility arena brilliant just 5 minutes walk and very easy. Good selection for breakfast. Free hot drinks. My only complaint (which I didn't report) was my room smelt very fusty, not pleasant, but as I wasn't going to be in it long, didn't mention it. Other than that, room clean.

Good location but needs some TLC

The hotel service was excellent; the staff were friendly and proactively helped resolve any issues. Every employee was very polite, and their smiling service made me feel very comfortable. My stay was truly wonderful.

Went with my daughter. as we were seeing Fatboy Slim at the O2 and it’s location to there is literally around the corner and not far from the station or the shopping centre. It is very modern and clean and the bed was so comfy with gorgeous crisp white cotton sheets . Will definitely be going g back when we go to the 02 again!

The hotel is easily accessible. The room is large enough. The breakfest was good. The car is parked on the hotelparking. For a short stop it is good. We had just a stop on the way south.

I looked it up online, and apparently, it used to be a count's castle, even housing soldiers during WWI before being abandoned and later renovated to reopen. Compared to chain hotels at a similar price point, the only advantage is the larger rooms; everything else, like the outdated facilities and lack of an elevator, isn't great. We came to Birmingham for the weekend to just relax and have some fun. The rooms was clean, tidy, and good value for money. It is a walk away from everything and you in the centre in 2 or 3 minutes. Definitely stay there again. Good times

Such a lovely hotel, staff were so helpful and pleasant, very comfortable nights sleep, room kept warm in spite of freezing temperatures outside, everything spotless.

I found the room was clean tidy and adequate at the price point unfortunately there was a problem with the heating and it was an extremely cold night. I was provided with a small electric heater but it wasn’t the best night for me. Also probably my own fault but I didn’t realise until my booking confirmation that there was a separate charge (£15) for parking.

Friendly staff on arrival and throughout. We were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade to a deluxe double for no particular reason. A lovely clean room ( thank you Gloria) with everything we needed. The bathroom was especially nice.

Not much to fault with this hotel. Clean room, friendly staff and right where I needed to be. It's about 2km from City centre and a long walk or a taxi ride if you are not familiar with Birmingham. I went for the football, as the stadium is just up the road. If you are not a football fan check the dates as the bar area can get a little lively on match days. Really good experience all round.

Although the bed wasn't the comfiest, we did enjoy our stay here. The set up of the room was really cool and the bathroom is almost like a capsule with a stand in shower inside. This was my first time to visit a naturist hotel, i have visited one that had a naturist island. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable. The spa area was relaxing with just about the right number of people. Breakfast was simple but good. I'll be visiting again.

This isn't the best hotel I've been to. First of all, the hallway reeks of some strange smell. The room was cramped when I was with 3 people, 2 kids. Speaking of kids, my 2 year old daughter's bed is a safety hazard as there are no bars to protect her from rolling off the bed. And the beds are NOT comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly enough but didn't trust us with food in our rooms and denied us cutlery and plates. Made us feel like boarding kids. We had an excellent stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities were great. Everything exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay again!

The one bedroom suite room is spacious for 2 to stay for few days. The kitchenette has the basic items and cutleries for simple cooking. Daily complimentary breakfast has all the basic breakfast items. Location is very close to Birmingham New Street Station. Lots of shops and restaurant nearby and easy access to China town too.

Overall, a decent stay. The room was fine but a bit dated and could do with some updating. Breakfast was okay, and it was nice that they offered snacks during the evening social event. Everything is just perfect and up to our expectation, especially the in-room kitchen! Although the kitchenette is not too big in size, it is well-equipped with all basic kitchenware & utensils you need. Thanks to this, we've made several meals ourselves and saved a great deal during our 3-night stay!
