The location is great but the wall is too thin. Couldn’t sleep well as I can literally hear when people move around or open/shut the door

very good location within China town, lots of nice restaurants and cafe around, closed to the train station too. room is big, but only with basic facilities, which is enough for a night. Service is good, very friendly

It's very conveniently located within walking distance of Birmingham New Street train station and right next to Chinatown, which is fantastic for those who love Chinese food. The facilities fully met our needs, and the hot water was excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel offers luggage storage.

The room is super hot and warm, made it so dry when sleep at night, it cant even fall in sleep

Great location at Chinatown and near New Street station.
Room is carpeted so it is not cold when stepped on it but there is an odour in the room (maybe due to carpet).

Helpful staff as needed help to remove the sim card from handphone.

They helped to store luggage for free.

The facilities are outdated, the environment is noisy, and the room is depressingly small. On top of that, it's overpriced, and the service is practically non-existent. It's like a guesthouse in a third-tier city back home.

Good food, great service and a view out over the rag market. There is always a good selection of food. Starters are great plus service is of highest quality. On top of this you never feel like they want to rush and get you out even if they are busy - sit back and enjoy.

With this being my first ever Jamie's experience I expected more than I got. Portion sizes are rather small and this unnecessary need to make oneself stand-out by serving alternative coca cola sodas instead of the original or pepsi is frustrating. The reason I give this place more stars than it deserves is the exceptional decoration and friendly service. However, food-wise there are definitely better Italian places out there.

Artificially "No table" just to make us wait 20 minutes at the door in the bar. Once in, about one third of tables empty. Taking the order was quick but we waited about 30 min for the food which came partially burned and too spicy to the point that you could not feel much flavour. The atmosphere was too dark to the point that o had to use the light from my phone to read the menu. The only positive thing about the place was the kind waiter. Do not recommend and will not come back.

Very impressed. Great food and service. Our waiter Adam couldn't of been more helpful. The manager Richard was also excellent, this was the best restaurant we have visited in years. Highly recommended ?

Amazing experience! Liz and her team were so welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was buzzing for a Saturday early evening and the food was exquisite. The daily specials were way to tempting as well as the main menu. YUM !!! The food was fresh and of a really high quality.
Jamie's Italian is on a whole other level compared to the normal high street Italians (i.e Pizza Express, Ask etc) but the pricing is no different. It's a no brainier and this will definitely become our new favorite family restaurant, it would suit all ages and tastes.

A great place to eat for a relaxed bite with quick service. Food can be a bit pricey in total but the quality is generally good. The new street food menu is great - worth a visit.

One of my favourite places to eat but can be a bit pricey with individual bowls costing a lot. Depending on the colour of the dishes you get, you could end up spending a lot more than you bargained for. Overall I think that it is a great place to visit for special occasions and it has really nice food!

We used to eat here a lot but after trying the sushi in Australia (where we now live) we were disappointed when we came back. The food just seemed less fresh, salmon nigri had too much rice, tempura fish was greasy and horrible and chicken Karaage was average. On the plus side the kids loved the water dispensers and the service was prompt and friendly. I'm just not sure if we've come to expect better because of the freshness of food in Australia or if Yo Sushi is slipping but overall I gave three stars because of sentimental reasons (we used to love the place many years ago).
