It's a really good location. It's on the new street, which is the main shopping and tourist area in Birmingham.

They have paid parking, charging about £15 a night, which seems to be the standard for all the hotels in the area.

They could probably improve the service by offering a few complimentary items like water bottles and toiletries. However, it's unclear why other branches of Hampton by Hilton provide different levels of service and why it isn't at the same level here in the region.

This hotel is ideally situated in Broad Street, a bus and tram ride from the city centre.A vibrant and busy environment that one feels comfortable in.The hotel itself is a fantastic place to stay, and was very surprised at the price, only for one night that is but excellent value for money. A complimentary breakfast included as well, sets you off for the day.. Thankyou Hampton By Hilton, will continue to support your Hotel.

Hotel is in a great position at the top of Broad Street, greeted with a smile at reception and the room was ready early which was a bonus.
The twin room was on the 15th floor with great views over Edgbaston. The only fault was the bathroom door was very heavy and wouldn’t close. This was reported and reception did offer to move us but we had already unpacked.
The biggest disappointment was breakfast - we saw photo in the lift and it looked great especially as my daughter is dairy free. However there were no blueberries or raspberries or strawberries or blackberries and when we pointed this out the lady behind reception said it was a case of false advertising - nothing was offered as compensation so all in all very disappointed.

Lovely hotel in a great location especially if coming for nightlife. Staff friendly, good breakfast choice, nice room. Only issue was the blind didnt work in the room. Which didnt bother us too much as we arrived late and was leaving early.

The room was clean with a variety of lighting options, comfortable bed and I enjoyed a very quiet sleep.

Room temperature was perfect with an option to mend as you wish, I did not change it as it was done correctly. Also the hot shower and all facilities in the shower room ( like shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, clean/soft towels) made my stay pleasant and I felt I made the right choice.

Breakfast/ buffet was included and you have a kettle available and few options for making one or two extra drinks in the room ( if you wish)

Other facilities provided which I didn't use, where hairdryer, iron/ ironing board and a safe.

Room was with a desk area and an office chair, TV with plenty of channels available at no extra cost, another seating area with a soft armchair and a stool in front, if you want to read/ relax and not in a mood to lie down in bed.
The room decor was calm and I liked the big mirror, so you can see properly yourself before you leave.

The Hotel is 15-20mins walking distance from Birmingham city centre & train station( New Street) Nearby there are plenty of shops or other restaurants if you want anything else.
Staff at the reception were friendly and helpful for any further questions I had, they kept safe my gloves which I forgot 😂🙏 and check in/out done fast and without delays.

Overall I would recommend this hotel.

The room we had was very clean and we had a lovely room on the 10th floor . The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was brilliant for everything we needed . We went to watch Strictly . The only downfall was the buffet breakfast it was cold and the scrambled egg didn't taste very nice . There were a few people that commented on it . There was only a choice of scrambled or hard boiled eggs .Sorry don't mean to sound picky but a lot of other people commented on no poached or fried eggs . Having said that .We have stayed here a lot and will still go back but hopefully next time breakfast will be better .

I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the place. The breakfast buffet could be better

Nice food, a cheesecake is very tasty. Staff don't speak English very well, expensive. That food isn't relevant price. I expected more for 30£

Food was lovely and service was good. Menu is fairly limited.

The steak was stunning and cooked perfectly rare.

Wine list has a decent choice.

The best Italian Restaurant in Birmingham by a mile.
The staff are simply perfect. The food is amazing and the venue is spot on. You could be anywhere in the World from the view. The large windows make this place so lovely to enjoy some amazing food.
The prices are cheaper than you would think. If anything too cheap for the quality.
Highly recommended.

Second visit to this fantastic Italian. Friendly, helpful staff who go out of their way to help. Food was excellent again, the wife had bass and I the tortellini with Gorgonzola. Both really filling but we somehow managed a dessert. Pic is of the profiteroles. Highly recommended and reasonable price

We dined here after visiting the Sea life Centre, so felt a little under dressed ~ however, the staff didn't seem to mind. They were very attentive throughout the meal ~ but they made sure you paid for it with the service charge! Food was almost perfect; very tasty (calamari a little over done, hence the 4 stars ) Drinks (wine etc ) expensive, but it's your choice how much to spend.

Far too expensive!!

Air condition set up little bit cold, the food is very good, staff is very polite and the atmosphere is nice.
I would have a proper coffee menu (italian restaurant)
at the end but there's not much choice so I rate 3 stars for that.

Went there for dinner. Good atmosphere as we sit outside in great weather. Starters were good. Mains were terrible - rubbery cutlets with more breadcrumbs than taste. Didn't seem freshly cooked. Extremely overpriced for the quality. £25 for poor quality main that didn't even come with a side - had to get that separately. Wouldn't eat there again.

I was happy for the food but noticed after leaving that I was charged extra on my bill of £30.64 called "gratuity"
I understand that a tip is welcomed. But to unknowingly to the customer put it on the bill and say nothing is a bit unacceptable by my standards.
This wouldn't of been an issue for me If I was asked for the "tip" to be placed on the bill or if I would want to tip at all.

My wife and I went here for a meal before an event at the arena not knowing the area and didnt even think to check the reviews,we're glad we didnt as we probably wouldn't have gone.Saying that we had a great Meal the Onion bhajee's are to die for,the service was great, very polite, very quick and the food tasted great.Yes the decor is slightly tired in places but overall good.I dare say it all depends on the time of day you go and what staff are on shift that evening. We would go there again .

Loved this place ! Staff were so friendly and welcoming
I’d ordered the wrong dinner and they swapped it immediately without any fuss and even said we could keep that plate at no extra charge.
Portions were large and tasted amazing. Really recommend

Food was amazing! Staff was great too. Definitely recommend this place

I cannot fault the quality of the food. It is very good. The service on my last visit however was dreadful. The waiters clearly couldn't be bothered. The wrong drink was brought to the table, the customer returned it, only to have it brought back and told I can't resell it. Very unprofessional waiters and generally very poor service. I'll go elsewhere next time.
