Really nice stay. Very central to local bars, restaurants and Cinema. Lots to do. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Lobby area is beautiful and restaurant is reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
Complies with information given on web site. The rooms are clean and large. Bed is comfortable. All appliances are in working order. The breakfast buffet is complete. The restaurant food is good. The staff is helpful and understanding. The hotel is situated near the canals and offers large selection of restaurants around. Only small negative point was the room service number provided in my room didn...
Great hotel located in the centre of Birmingham. Walking distance to pretty much everything you want/ need and 10-15 minute walk to New Street station. Staff are very helpful and polite, the food was great and at a resonable price. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely come back when visiting Birmingham
Good business hotel about 2-3 minutes walk from the ICC. There is a lot of construction on the road outside but not noisy. Lots of great dining and drinking options along the canal nearby and about 10-15 minutes walk to New Street station. Staff were helpful at the hotel with, for example, early check in or prompt at dispensing a sewing kit! The room was clean and spacious with a good view on the higher...
I can't comment on the rooms but the function room we used for a meeting was good. It was a boardroom style room with air conditioning and projector facilities. Lunch was provided which was nice and a good range of teas and coffees. Location wise was quite central and about a 15 minute walk from New Street station. Decent overall for conferencing.
The hotel is situated in a great spit surrounded by a number of restaurants, shops and bars. As well as being within a 15 minute walk of Birmingham New street. The interior is well presented, with friendly and attentive staff. The room was well kept and surprisingly had 2 double beds when we were expecting twin singles. The breakfast on offer was a large variety of congenital options, with a constantly...

It was just perfect, really enjoyed our stay
Great stay great location and great place to relax in whilst in the city!
Convenient and breakfast nice, service brilliant
Perfect location for a weekend in Birmingham. Really enjoyed the pool and sauna which were clean and well-maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here before and had a great experience so we booked again. The stay was just as fab as the first time! Very happy and will be staying again.
Excellent service, customer care, smelled beautiful throughout, clean, tidy throughout. Highly recommended. Well maintained. Excellent value
For a solo traveler the rooms are tiny and often side rooms on the floor. The restaurant is usually busy with outsiders so may need booking or room service is an option. Parking is not available and you may need to book that separately however it’s very near so ok.
Always a delight staying at Park Regis, definitely love this hotel and it’s my favourite place to stay when in Brum. The breakfast is also a highlight, absolutely amazing.
It's not the best hotel on the street. It's very expensive, and breakfast £18 each and we did return throughout our stay. The food was very poor. Weatherspoon was a lot cheaper and nicer. Communal lights on my corridor did not function as it should. I booked a deluxe room, which is basic. No shaver plug in inside the bathroom. TV isn't smart. The bathroom was very clean. These days, they struggle...

A beautiful hotel - excellent location when in Birmingham, and outstanding staff.
Loved the Grand - great quality, lovely room in a fantastic city centre location. Commended
I highly recommend this hotel. Perfect, city centre location, and large, clean, spacious rooms.
Established in 1879, this hotel is indeed the Grand Birmingham Hotel! It oozes classiness throughout.
Our room was spacious but looking at the floor plan, that seems to be the standard! Bathrobes provided though not slippers. The shower has a door instead of the useless walk in panels that never work! No useless espresso cups but proper world map mugs for our coffees and tea in-room. Two comfortable...

Birmingham, 12 Holloway Circus (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room is good, quiet clean and big, but the tall guy in reception charged me 15 pounds for half-an-hour late check-out, it is my first time to meet this situation, really bad experience.
The location was amazing as was so close to everything from food to nightlife. The room was superb and the bed was to die for as it was so soft. Felt very let down on the room service as couldn’t get through and wanted to order some food and drinks so kind ruined the stay slightly. Brooke who greeted us and checked us in was exceptional and showed us what customer service meant
Amazing location, really nice rooms. We were given a room higher up so had a great view. No complaints.
Really clean and very good location.
Central location and decent sized rooms. Buffet breakfast was ok and there is a gym. Discounted parking nearby. Helpful front desk.
Disappointing stay, design a little outdated and a cracked toilet bowl in my room.

The room I was given was good, but the air conditioner was constantly making noise althrough my stay, which was irritating and drops of water were also falling by the bedside from it
Nicely located for city centre. Some of the decor looked a bit tired in the room but it was clean and staff were friendly. Good value stay for a city centre hotel
No air con but just a fan in the room. Shower took 10 mins for hot water. Tap control on shower didn’t work. Won’t stay here again. Breakfast was short on supplies and tables were slow to be cleared.
The lady at the reception that was so so lovely, it was the hottest day of the year and we complained about the AC, she quickly changed our room, when we had further concerns and called reception, she came up speedily and provided warm assistance, sure value for my money.
The hotel offered exceptional accommodations in Birmingham, boasting spectacular city views and convenient tram access.

Nice place, good service. Close to city centre, and right place for business trips.
Loved the fun atmosphere of this hotel. Front of house was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was generous, and the lounge was lively. I would book again!
Vy spacious & clean!! Vy helpful & friendly staffs.
Our go to hotel when in Birmingham. Rooms come with a smart tv. It’s not in the city centre but only a 10 min drive away or maybe a 20 min walk. However it tends to be a lot cheaper then centre hotels and is very modern.
Clean, quiet, new, and friendly. Sufficient for one night’s sleep. No sleepers. No water. On-site restaurant is barely edible.
Stink found inside the bathroom to be improved. Lifts were out of service during the occupation.

Very nice clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be that there wasn't enough space to put anything. The shelves were very narrow. We had to have our room service breakfast on the bed. Ok for one night but would be frustrating for a long stay.
But I would recommend the hotel.
Great location with easy access to the city and free parking, though spaces fill up quickly on weekends with events. Bus stop is only 3 mins walk.
Rooms are very small and lack basics like slippers or a mini fridge. Also would be good if there's more lighting in the room, especially where the full length mirror is.
We were placed on the ground floor at the far end; when I asked to change during check...
Easy to get to, convenient location, blue badge parking right outside. My room (top floor 324) had two narrow but tall windows with not much view, but let in plenty of light. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, convenient enough for the lifts and had a well-stocked tea tray, plenty of clean towels and a really comfortable bed. Just as importantly was the easy to programme aircon that made sleep possible...
Nice and quiet, good location and excellent customer service, really enjoyed staying there.
Nice staffs and decent breakfast. Safe to stay in here cause it is run by the University. Many restaurants nearby and close to the train station. Lovely place, would recommend if you join any function here.

When I reach room was not clean at all neither the toilet it’s just a stay for one night is okay.
Staff service is very poor I have now lost two iPhone chargers and to date none has been found. There was an open biscuit they changed my room and the new room did not even have any and the morning the power sockets were off
Unfortunately other than its location this hotel has nothing good going for it.
There was a queue when I got there, strange for that time - 20:30ish. The lift was dark and depressing, the room even more so.
There was an awful smell like vomit lingering in the room. The floor looked unclean. The bathroom floor was the same and the corners were filthy. I didn’t feel clean being in the room.

Lovely and clean hotel. Rooms nice and clean. Enough space for our requirements. Great breakfast, plenty of choice. Requested rooms on a low floor and close to each other. Unfortunately, we were given floor 14. This wasn't an issue this time as there was no need to do the stairs at any point. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Good and clean hotel. Location is great, very close to station and city centre
good location and near city centre. Hotel carpark is location on 2F which is easier to access
Solid hotel in the centre of Birmingham. It's located at a main road but well insulated from the noise. Room was comfortable and clean, standard hotel room. The breakfast was ok, though they ran out of some of the gluten free options and service was sometimes slow. Overall, a good hotel to stay a night or two.
Hotel was great, just the bed as somewhat hard, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
The hotel was extremely clean. The staff were so friendly and always on hand to help with any questions. The room was extremely comfortable and lovely and warm.

Bad:

Hotel is situated within the university grounds complex - unbeknown to us it was graduation week so they were hundreds of students and their parents celebrating their achievements it was a wonderful site to see.
The hotel was a stone throw away from the city centre so there were lots of things to see do and eat.
A fantastic choice
Kasper at the front desk is a wonderful representative of the Aston hotel, everything is of the highest standard.
Would be amazing if aircon in the room but otherwise faultless.
Excellent as always! Very nice staff specially Steph and Kasper. I would come back for sure!
It is located with the campus and there is a Tesco nearby. The staff is friendly and room is clean.
The location is good, not far away from the new street railway station. About 15minuyes walk. It is located in the Aston Uni. It is really quiet and safe. The room is really clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great with various foods to be chosen.

Location, room size, cleaning and comfort are all satisfactory. However, during our stay there was air conditioning problem throughout the hotel. They supplied individual fan on request but it did not help so much, the room temperature was so high.
Does what a city centre hotel needs to do. Clean, efficient, comfortable and close to train station
It is good in general.
However, no fridge in room and no air conditioning during my stay and not being fixed. Electric fan was provided but it is noisy.
My room Aircond is not functioning upon check in, tried calling the reception many times (between 3.30pm-6pm) but no one answers my calls! The negative experience begins……
Had to go down physically to the reception to seek assistance and met with an arrogant staff named Naqash (male), according to him the aircon issue started the night before we checked in, and the maintenance team are up in the roof...
the room is clean and the bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is traditional English breakfast and up to standard
The aircon system was totally sucks, it happened to numbers of rooms, even we changed the room it wasn’t help. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Birmingham!
From the moment we stepped into the Novotel Birmingham Centre, we were met with warmth and professionalism. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and modern, with all the comforts you’d expect — a super comfy bed, great shower, fast WiFi, and a smart layout...
Strange room, with separate WC like old English houses. TV couldn’t be heard … very annoying that the volume was limited to a very low level.
Got to our room to find a big red stain on the carpet centre of the room. Huge stain and dots of what looks like blood that had tried to be cleaned away but not very well. Then some lights were not working in the room and on the bedside table was a white powdery substance all over it and the floor below it obviously not been cleaned correctly from the last stay. All skirting boards thick with dirt...

good experience in living the hotel
great location, small room, need to improve the bed too soft
Great location, very close to Chinatown. A major plus is that the hotel room has aircon 😄
It was located at a really good place. We returned to the hotel during midnight and there are some fast food shops around are open so that we can fill us up. It feels safe to stay in the hotel as it is right next to the China town so there are a lot of people around.
Good location but there is a nightclub nearby. It was too noisy when we opened the window. The cooler air cond) was out of order. Hotel staff Romila was very helpful. She arranged another room with cooler working properly. Therefore, we can close all the window to reduce the noise and can have better sleep.

The hotel claimed it has air conditioners in room on trip.com web site, but it is not an air conditioner but ventilation only. You will see a notice mentioning this in the room. It is not honest as otherwise people can choose other hotel in particular in the summer.
The room is very small. It is ok clean but dont except too much.
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my experience was quite mixed.
The location itself is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. However, there are several issues that affected my stay.
First, the air conditioning in the room was not cold enough, even when set to the lowest temperature. This made it difficult to sleep comfortably, especially during warm weather...

Very good hotel. Newly refurbished and updated. Staff were excellentvas was breakfast.
Ideally situated for the O2 Academy.
The only downside is distance from city centre but no problem if mobile.
The staff were very friendly and the room was reasonably priced. While basic it met all of my needs for a one night stay over in the city.
The Wi-fi signal in our room is very poor.
