Hotel is in a great position at the top of Broad Street, greeted with a smile at reception and the room was ready early which was a bonus.   The twin room was on the 15th floor with great views over Edgbaston

The rooms are modern and the showers are fantastic. Large bar with terrace and even a DJ to provide the music. Bar service was a little slow but the food was great. We had a picnic in the park, sharing plates

The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to Bullring and most shops and restaurants. But the carpark is a bit of a walk through a not so nice area. Plus the closer car park is not 24 hours

So one night after a dinner that finished late, I missed the closing time of the car park and had to park at the car park that is further away. For cleanliness, the room is generally clean

The location of this hotel is great. Its a short walk to Bullring Shopping Centre and the main train station. This is a typical 4-star hotel so facilities wise is typical of a comparable hotel

Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc

The room was clean and tidy with excellent natural light. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – leading to a great night's sleep

Forget about WiFi because it doesn’t work, the shover drains was smelling really bad. Buy your own toilet paper they leave there just the recycle one. The mattress thickness is ridiculous, like a camping mattress

Not soundproof; noise made by inconsiderate guests could be heard from the corridor and the floor above. Shower area is like a capsule but its door is avant garde, with a hole in place of a door knob

It took 30 plus minutes to get more to the meeting room. This demonstrated they can't really make the effort or they need more staff or just one to cater for corporate attendees!

The hotel is well located in the town centre within walking distance of Snow Hill train station. The hotel seems to be sound proofed as you cannot hear the traffic as the hotel is on the main road

I have stayed at the Apollo a good few times. It was convient for parking, which was a bonus. , issues with the bedding, not very clean at times. carpets need cleaning regularly, to give confidence in your room

Othe showering facilities not good. Breakfast okay now it's being prepared in the kitchen and brought out, as opposed to having a big open spread. That didn't suit the environment really

Really enjoyed my stay at the strathallan. Some rooms are a bit dated but If you upgrade to the nicer rooms you definitely get what you pay for. Still overall a good hotel for the price point and good location

The hotel is located outside Birmingham city centre but there is a handy bus stop just in front 9f the hotel connecting with Birmingham New Street. The hotel is not modern but clean and value for money

Nice big hotel located on Hagley road, outer rooms on the curve are lovely big and have plenty of space. However the internal rooms on the inside of the curve are remarkably smaller and feel much less inviting

The bed is comfortable and the usual Kettle, Coffee and Tea are available. Breakfast was good and more than sufficient. Unless you need to be in the centre this hotel is certainly worth a stay
