Basic, clean hotel with friendly / helpful staff in good location. Only slight issue the aircon was not the best but did not affect our stay

Extremely full of pain stay. AC didnt work to have even fresh air in room without ventilation for 4 nights. Very rude reception team who were fine with midnight checkout then getting the equipment fixed. There is no buffet breakfast, and if you paid for it, you just wasted. Rooms were not done everyday. None of the amenities mentioned in booking there.

We booked two rooms for 3 nights for us and our friends at The Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Hotel.
It’s a located close to the shops, night life and Liverpool Docks.
The staff were polite.
The rooms were clean, however we paid extra for upgraded Superior rooms which come with upgraded amenities.
One of the rooms did not have a coffee machine or fridge. Staff assured us that both rooms were Superior rooms but could not supply the missing items that we paid extra for! Not Happy.

Great location . All staff very friendly and easy to deal with . Great view of the liver building from our room . Nice bar area and nice drinks . Overall a really nice two night stay .

I stayed here for work and the staff were so friendly and very helpful. They went way above and beyond my expectations. The manager Nicola has a great team working for her and she was absolutely brilliant at making sure I had everything I needed. Any issues I had she helped me resolve. She is hard working and leads by example. The head chef Graham was also fantastic. He cooked world class poached eggs and came out at one of his spare moments to talk to customers. The rooms in the hotel were very spacious and comfortable and I found it hard to leave my bed as it was so cosy. I would definitely come back to stay here again as the hotel is in a perfect location for Liverpool 1 and the Albert Docks where the museums, bars and restaurants are. I would recommend this fantastic hotel to all my friends and family.

Weekend in Liverpool for a big birthday celebration. The Mecure was the perfect location. Great service, clean modern room and plenty of choice at breakfast. I would definitely return.

Visited from Bristol last year and the food, drink and service was spot on.
Visited again last Friday night 17/11/17. Only 2 of us dined. We had 2 appetisers, 2 mains, 2 glasses of champagne and 2 cocktails at a grand total of £110 with the compulsory 10% gratuity.
Now, when you spend that kind of money, you don’t expect to have to send back your steak (in a steakhouse) for being cold even if you do have it cooked medium rare.
They took it back, put the piece of meat back in the pan, which overcooked it and brought it back out. Which is a solution to the problem, but it’s not right.
However they made no attempt at a sign of goodwill not even £3 knocked off for the olives.
Based on this experience, we won’t be returning, could have got a better steak from the nearest harvester.

So i orderd the pie. It arived in a dish. So not a pie. It had a lid of pastry and five pieces of meat for 15 pounds sterling. And by bits of meat i mean a miniscule mouthfull. It was stew in a pot .... my life was harder because of this place. Im still hungry. Stafg are nice. Beer cold and beer like. Food. Meh

We were in Liverpool for a night away and really fancied steak (fillet) decided to go to Marco Pierre, what a disappointment, firstly they had no fillet! So me and my partner had rump, we had starters before hand and under my plate was covered in tomato sauce didn't realise until I moved the plate and got it all over my hands. My partner had ribs, no water bowl or wet tissue was provided. Then came the steak mine to be fair was actually quite nice. However my partners steak was 70% fat and gristle not nice he hates fat that's why he prefers fillet. It was u edible. I ordered a béarnaise sauce if that was béarnaise I'll eat jay with a horse there wasn't a herb in site and it was way to thick! They gave us 25% off needless say we won't be going back to this particular restaurant or any other Pierre restaurant !

I took my sister in law, who is over from australia for lunch at Mal Maison Brasserie Liverpool on 11\05\2016. I had been before a couple of years ago and had a wonderful lunch. We ordered the malburger. As soon as it arrived we were asked if everything was alright ,which, at that point it was. The burger and relish were beautiful. My sister in law's bun was totally burnt and both of our' fries were cold and had obviously been cooked previously and re heated to a fashion. There were numerous black , frazzled remants of fries mixed with the rest of the cold dried out ones. We ate the burger but left the buns and the fries. It was an extremely disappointing meal. the price of one burger was taken off the bill but this did not make up for the dreadful experience. I will never return and would never recommend Mal Maison.
