Lovely hotel, decent location, about 0.5 miles from London Bridge station, with lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Room size was reasonable, lovely comfortable bed, only complaint was that it was a little difficult to regulate the heat and the room kept getting too hot. Staff were extremely helpful, I can forgive the very slow lift!!

The room was tiny and quite dim. It's supposedly a family-run hotel, but the location was hard to find. The staff were pretty cold and didn't smile once. There's a high step at the hotel entrance, which made carrying luggage incredibly inconvenient. Breakfast options were also limited.

Very poor service! The bell boy at the entrance didn't help with the luggage and ignored me completely. The lobby manager was so stupid, I can't believe it's a Marriott hotel, the service is so poor

I paid on Ctrip, but there was still a fee when I arrived at the store. I asked the front desk what the fee was, and they said they didn't charge it. I don't understand.

A large number of mirrors are used throughout the room to create a sense of space. Unfortunately, all the mirrors except the bathroom have many stains. The water pressure in the bath is very low and thinner than the faucet, which is very dissatisfying.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable, we had the breakfast in the morning which was well worth the money!

I really wanted to like this place because it is so close to where I live and has a great location on the waterfront, but each time that I have gone I leave disappointed.

The service is not good enough especially when they add 12.5% automatically. I even had to ask them to remove this service charge once (after being constantly ignored) which caused a big scene.

Maybe this is related to the service but it takes forever to get a drink even when sitting in the bar and it is quiet.

The food is over priced e.g we just had a Sunday roast, it was £20 each and only included 2 tiny quarter potatoes and 2 mouthfuls of very basic vegetables. We were very disappointed and not full after our meal.

To be honest the reason I’m even giving this place 3 stars is because the food is tasty (although small and expensive) and the location is good.

Had a great evening celebrating my husbands 50th. Couldnt have asked for more. Staff were lovely and so friendly and accomodating despite being rushed off their feet. All had a smile and friendly word. Food was excellent and fairly priced. Even put a candle in husbands dessert. A nice touch. Will definitely be back. If you want somewhere nice for a special occasion this is a great place to go. 11 out of 10. Well done the staff at chop house.

Steak and kidney pudding was delicious - full of ingredients and great texture. The steak tartare was very flavorful - a bit spicy, but that's my thing...
