Beautifully decorated hotel, in an excellent location. Feels more like staying at a relatives house, rather than a hotel. Which makes for a very relaxing stay and much quieter than you would expect, for this central location. English charm and character, celebrating its colourful history by naming each room after past residents. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the air conditioning was exceptional. The mini bar and breakfast were reasonably priced. The bathroom complimented the buildings age. Some may struggle with there being no shower, but we found it to be a lovely excuse for a relaxing bath.
We would’ve awarded Hazlitt’s five stars, had it not been for the dirty towels provided. Each of the two bath towels had stains and the scent of another person. It seems liking a previous guest had used them and folded them back neatly. The housekeeper most likely assumed they hadn’t been used and therefore, left them. I understand the hotel industry are trying to be more ecological and not over launder items. Nevertheless, at this price point you do expect a base line of cleanliness.

The decor and atmosphere are very British, it's beautiful! The service is professional, and the staff are polite, gentlemanly, warm, and attentive! I felt right at home, and I would definitely choose this place again!

The staff was excellent. They brought my bags to my room and escorted me there when my room was ready. There is no elevator and my room was on the top floor. The hotel is definitely quirky. The lobby had a beautiful real christmas tree and there were a few different sitting rooms throughout the ground level all decorated. I had a single room and the bed was super comfortable. I had plenty of room. There was a robe and a mini bar. The toilet was an actual wood throne. The location was excellent, a few blocks from the Elizabeth line. This hotel is really old and the rooms are intended to reflect that. Meaning no shower- just over the bath. No tea and coffee. Strange set up for mirrors. Reasonably priced mini bar. Charming though- although you can hear other rooms easily. And the location is perfect.

Hazlitt’s was a quiet, welcoming hotel right around the corner from the busy streets of the city. We walked everywhere and were glad to return to our hideaway at Hazlitt’s. Our room was very large, well appointed and really quiet! We loved the in room breakfast each day. All staff were attentive and welcoming! Highly recommend!

Nice food, great quality. The only issue I could find was that it was too loud to talk at the table which was bigger (more roomy) that the usual table size in central London. But this together with the noise made conversation impossible. Otherwise all was good. The service was good and staff was attentive..4 stars.

Really disappointing experience. Had been led to believe this was an excellent restaurant but the food was overpriced and very average indeed (£21 for a lobster salad starter with about four pieces of lobster? Fish main course that would have been better quality ordered through Ocado). The service was really slow. Our main courses arrived without sides. They gave up in the end on trying to get the latter to us. For a restaurant in such a decent location with such a reputation, this was a poor show. Choose anywhere else in Soho.

My favourite restaurant in Soho. Unique atmosphere, extremely attentive and caring staff, French cuisine coupled with superb martinis and a newly opened gin bar make up a one-of-a-kind experience. I've been coming here for over two years now and I'm still looking forward to every single visit.
