We stayed three nights in November. Front desk staff was very friendly and kind. Parking looks a little iffy, but even if your car is blocked by another, the front desk can move the car quickly so you can get out. Our room was comfortable, even though quite small. King bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. It was nice to be able to open the windows and let the fresh air inside. The bathroom was super clean, my only issue was the shower pressure which was almost non-existent. Location can't be beat! Short walk to anywhere you want to go, whether the Pier, Main Street, or the Promenade Shopping side. We would've loved a coffee maker in the room, but the lobby does have coffee at all times. I would def stay here again.

Room was over priced for the quality the room. There was cracked tile on the floor leading to the washroom. Daughter picked her bare foot on them. Lucky it didn’t cut her! The the beds were so soft there was a dip in the center making for a very uncomfortable sleep. Plus the noise! So loud, the street noise was so clear. I swore the door and windows were open. Dave your cash. Stay somewhere else!

No ac. Tiny parking lot with only 12 spaces and can barely get out of our car when parked. Not very friendly staff. No hot water first night. Construction early morning noisy. No tv in master bed.

Not that nice
Read the fine print about reserving hotel parking. Staff was not friendly and did not inform us of the building construction that started at 8 am with jackhammers that ratted our room until about 3 pm each day we were there. Maybe there is a beach view from a higher floor but not on the first floor where we were. For the price, there are other options close by that are better.

Enjoyed Our Stay
We stayed for one night as some of our family members were running the Santa Monica Classic and didn't want to drive in the morning. The proximity of this hotel to the playgrounds as well as the boardwalk was a huge advantage of staying here for us. We did not have any issues with parking like what was specified in a lot of the reviews for this place however, it's important to note that we were there right at check in time. The beds were comfy, the room was spacious, the shower was small but it had good pressure. They have hand soap and lotion by the sink in the bathroom and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. It's not a fancy place but for the area, I think it's still worth its overnight price.

This hotel is really good. The location is excellent for going to beach and pier and third ave promenade. The style is vintage but the rooms are tastefully done. I would definitely stay here again. It was great value.

The room was on the roadside, with broken blinds on the windows, allowing for visibility. In the middle of the night, I could see and hear homeless people running around and shouting, which made me feel incredibly unsafe. There was no air conditioning, only a small, tractor-like window air conditioner in the bathroom. The twin room was incredibly small; the claimed 33 square meters was impossible. There was no WiFi or coffee maker. The room had two floors, no elevator, and luggage had to be carried up. Aside from its proximity to the pier, the hotel offered no other amenities. It felt like a construction worker's dormitory. It's truly unfortunate that Ctrip would offer such a poor and deceptive product.

Great location, lovely hotel, but the foot traffic upstairs is a bit noisy. Overall good. Coffee, microwave and kettle available in the common area.

This hotel can't be called a hotel, it feels like a dormitory! The room rate of 4,600 yuan for two nights is really a waste of luck!
I give it 4 stars because the front desk service attitude is very good and it is one minute away from the beach! But the room is really average!
