Ramada San Diego North Hotel & Conference Center in San Diego

It was an interesting crowd. We went for some rockabilly band that my parents were into. The service was not that great since they only had one waitress on that evening for the entire dinning area of the bar. The music was great but it's not the same band ever night there. Drinks were decent, but the menu didn't really have anything light. Everything on the menu was heavy and over $10.

This place was better than what I thought it would be. I was expecting a basic dated older hotel that would be showing it's age. However the grounds, rooms and pool are very well maintained and in fact charming to a degree. My room faced the pool and the inner courtyard with pool was very nice. The room was updated and super clean with comfortable bed, nice shower and bathroom! Staff was great and deserve praise from Ramada corporate types for doing such a wonderful job(s)!

Nice room. We had a comfy stay. Bathroom was very nice and pretty good size. Only bad thing we went to get more towels at the office and they gave us 2 floor mat towels.

Nice, clean, well maintained place. Friendly staff. Good value. Rooms have fridge, microwave, safe, iron/ironing board. Courtyard facing rooms for a few dollars more are a good choice as the rear facing rooms look out to parking lot and concrete wall. Some rooms have renovated bathrooms and others are in progress. Nice pool area with hot tub, lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. Small basic gym with treadmill, elliptical and bike. Nice restaurant with southern food, good beer and live music. The area is Kearny Mesa which is a bit out of town so a car is really required. It's about a 20 min. walk to a Starbucks but most things are close by car. There is a bit of noise from busy traffic but it's not too bad. One night there was air traffic noise and I understand the Miramar air base is just north, and a private executive airport is to the south. I'm not sure which caused the noise but it was not constant, just for a limited period the one night.

Room was good. Mini fridge n microwave in room. Single cup brewer available in room. Small bathroom with tub. King size bed was comfortable but pillows were all big and semi firm. TV variety was good. Safe in closet. Parking is good but noticed that the restaurant visitors take up all the parking later in day.

Went to Ramada San Diego to visit the bar Proud Mary for a few drinks with friends. Fantastic live jazz music and great Creole food. Definitely get a plate of the fried zucchini, you will not regret it. Food is a little pricy for a bar but it is definitely a bar/restaurant and is delicious. Will definitely be going back.

Hotel rooms were very clean. The front desk was really nice and let us check in early. I was even able to get a room right next to people who were there with us but checked in the night before. Breakfast was good and the waitress was very nice. Would stay there again.

Extremely professional and accommodating. They were very easy to work with. Mary Holladay was especially wonderful to work with. We'll be headed there every time we're in San Diego!

It was easy to check in and check out. The pool looked nice and people and to be enjoying the jacuzzi as well. They had a nice, safe spot to wait for an Uber. I liked it. Though the TV froze when I was trying to scroll on it. But there was a microwave and a mini fridge/freezer. I enjoyed it there. The bed was very soft.
