The experience was extremely poor. I was exhausted when I arrived, and the front desk gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned... There were unidentified objects on the floor... I was speechless when I opened the door. When I tried to change rooms, they only offered two bar vouchers as compensation, no room upgrade. Is the quality control and service of a reputable, long-established five-star hotel really this bad???

This is a solid, no-frills hotel. Nothing fancy, but absolutely reliable. The real standout here was the staff and the location. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely helpful and kind. I had a question about getting hot water and they actually delivered a kettle to my room, which was awesome.

The room itself was a standard hotel room, clean and perfectly fine, but the view was the real star. I had an amazing look at the city and the Bay, which definitely upgraded the whole stay.

The hotel is right next to the conference center and within easy walking distance of a bunch of other spots, which made everything very convenient. They also offer free bottles of water daily, and I later found out there is a refill station on the first floor. I did not catch that at first, but still appreciated it.

Overall, a great stay for the location, service, and views. I would happily book here again.

Intercontinental, San Francisco did not fail, just like the rest very attinative staff. Very nice, very welcoming, very informative. Location of the hotel is perfect. You can't get it better couple blocks off the main drag, right? In the middle of dining restaurants, entertainment nightclubs, bars, anything you're looking for is within 3 blocks away. The indoor pool was a nice addition to be able to swim till 10 PM and wake up with a nice dip. At 6 AM, also, the Jacuzzi was big enough to accommodate at least 10 people. Nice gym, all in all a great hotel experience.
We were able to buy a package for the 10 day. Stay for parking, which turned out to be an incredible deal. As parking can be 80 to a $100 a night. Trust me when I say this. You want to buy the parking pass. Also, they gave a $100 voucher to the hotel. Whether it was dinner breakfast. Drinks whatever and also gave us 3 drink tickets for 3 drinks at the bar which I thought was pretty nice on top of the $100 voucher. Very clean, very accommodating and very nice stay. Just like all the other Intercontinental I've stayed.

We stayed in a King room with Club Lounge access, which was absolutely worth it.
The Club Lounge was a highlight. Breakfast in the morning was self-serve with a great selection, including eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, various bakery items, and smoked salmon. Everything was delicious. After breakfast hours, the lounge offered light snacks such as popcorn and packaged snacks.
In the evening, the offerings depended on the day. On Sundays, there were grilled chicken and spring rolls, which were great. On weekdays, it was more limited, mainly chips with dips, a cheese board, and alcoholic beverages. Later at night, there were light drinks and cookies available.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage for a long time after check-out, which was very convenient. Late check-out at 2 PM was also a big plus.
Our room was on the 31st floor with a great height and view. However, there was still some city noise, which was a bit noticeable, though understandable given the downtown location.
Overall, the stay was very good value. The main drawbacks were that the room felt a bit old in style and smaller than expected. The building looks modern from the outside, but the room design is more traditional. Still, everything was acceptable and the Club Lounge made the stay very worthwhile.

I travel to San Francisco regularly for work and the Intercontinental is by far my preferred choice. I can always rely on the comfort, spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, great in-house dining and convenient location, but its the wonderful staff that make this hotel a 5 star experience. Dorian and Jisshu are highlights - always gracious and cheerful, regardless of the hour. And there are many more true hospitality professionals here who strive to provide exemplary service and ensure a welcoming and experience for every guest. Highly recommend!

extremely convenient location with lots of restaurants, shopping malls nearby.

Had a wonderful stay here! Realizing what makes your stay pleasant at a hotel is not just the great cleanliness, decoration, and comfortable hotel rooms; but also the staff! The staff here was the best part of the hotel. The doorman Dorian, along with the others who greeted us at the start can’t remember their name, were especially great!

The room is quite spacious, well-equipped, clean, and safe!

Incredibly underwhelming. Looks pretty nice, but looks are very deceiving. Overpriced, super bland, service took forever, and bad management. On top of it all, the cuisine didn't satisfy my appetite. Never again.

Poor customer service, under staffed and food was mediocre at best. Would not recommend...

Come here if you love LONG waits for food and drinks (25+ minutes), missing food from orders, and watered down draft beers. Less than half the tables are being used on a Saturday night despite both Golden State and MLB championship series are on. The locals must know something us tourists don't...dont order the wings unless you like bland food and ranch that tastes like nothing.

Near Westfield mall. If you love sports you love the numerous flat screen TVs to watch your favorite sport. Also if you like billiards they have a lot of tables !

Good, fairly straightforward gastropub. The lamb was a huge portion, well flavored and falling oh the bone tender, but the veggies were bland. The hot toddy was nice, but the more unusual flavors didn't really come through.

Really excellent brunch, in a splendid restaurant
Slightly let down on our visit by a number of serving errors. Overall recommended for the great food and delicious cocktails, but leave plenty of time and keep an eye on what you receive to make sure it is correct.

Great burgers and sandwiches. Friendly and timely service. Expect longer waits for bigger parties.

A bit loud, but nice and fast service and good food (had brunch). Interesting selection of beers, wine and cocktails

This place is HUGE. With 9 stories, it has everything you could ever ask for, and it's in the middle of San Francisco, so you can enjoy yourself in the city, too.

In addition to the great stores--a mixture of high end and general department--there's a huge food court downstairs with some pretty swanky food court grub. The only downside there is that the food court feeds right into the BART station (super convenient!!!), so we had some panhandlers walking through the tables asking for money. Just part of the SF experience, I suppose.
28.01.2017 Nettiema
Absolutely love shopping here. You can say it's pretty much a one stop shop. Great stores some of the most popular. Great places to eat. A super amazing movie theater. I love the decor at Christmas. Such a great place and right in the middle of other great shopping areas.
25.01.2017 Kevin
The mall is HUGE! I don't know how to get through it all. There are so many stores you can find pretty much everything you need here. It's also very clean and they take good care of the place

It's YUGE!

A wide range of products, polite staff.
