Reviews
Staff are friendly and have great hospitality.
Good location in Sa Francisco, highly recommended!
The room itself was a standard hotel room, clean and perfectly fine, but the view was the real star. I had an amazing look at the city and the Bay, which definitely upgraded the whole stay.
The hotel is right next to the conference center and within easy walking distance of a bunch of other spots, which made everything very convenient. They also offer free bottles of water daily, and I later found out there is a refill station on the first floor. I did not catch that at first, but still appreciated it.
Overall, a great stay for the location, service, and views. I would happily book here again.
We were able to buy a package for the 10 day. Stay for parking, which turned out to be an incredible deal. As parking can be 80 to a $100 a night. Trust me when I say this. You want to buy the parking pass. Also, they gave a $100 voucher to the hotel. Whether it was dinner breakfast. Drinks whatever and also gave us 3 drink tickets for 3 drinks at the bar which I thought was pretty nice on top of the $100 voucher. Very clean, very accommodating and very nice stay. Just like all the other Intercontinental I've stayed.
The Club Lounge was a highlight. Breakfast in the morning was self-serve with a great selection, including eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, various bakery items, and smoked salmon. Everything was delicious. After breakfast hours, the lounge offered light snacks such as popcorn and packaged snacks.
In the evening, the offerings depended on the day. On Sundays, there were grilled chicken and spring rolls, which were great. On weekdays, it was more limited, mainly chips with dips, a cheese board, and alcoholic beverages. Later at night, there were light drinks and cookies available.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage for a long time after check-out, which was very convenient. Late check-out at 2 PM was also a big plus.
Our room was on the 31st floor with a great height and view. However, there was still some city noise, which was a bit noticeable, though understandable given the downtown location.
Overall, the stay was very good value. The main drawbacks were that the room felt a bit old in style and smaller than expected. The building looks modern from the outside, but the room design is more traditional. Still, everything was acceptable and the Club Lounge made the stay very worthwhile.

Slightly let down on our visit by a number of serving errors. Overall recommended for the great food and delicious cocktails, but leave plenty of time and keep an eye on what you receive to make sure it is correct.
In addition to the great stores--a mixture of high end and general department--there's a huge food court downstairs with some pretty swanky food court grub. The only downside there is that the food court feeds right into the BART station (super convenient!!!), so we had some panhandlers walking through the tables asking for money. Just part of the SF experience, I suppose.
