Quality Inn Orlando Near International Drive in Orlando

We booked a room 13 days in advance.
Booking was successful and confirmed.
When we arrived to check in (at 5pm) they told us they were “sold out” of rooms and could not honor our paid reservation. They gave us no alternatives or help. We had to find accommodations ourselves last second which caused an unexpected expense.
Being in town for EDC without the hotel reservation you thought you had is terrible. The property blamed it on “third party booking sites” and “the property not going through bookings fast enough to confirm the reservation” but they had almost 2 weeks to “confirm” our CONFIRMED reservation.. I have NEVER had an issue with hotels.come so I believe the hotel oversold their availability and turned away the guests who had secured rooms at a cheaper rate.
WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER.
the “cheaper” rate is not worth the stress of being left without a room last second.

When I arrived, I found roaches and bed bugs in the room, and the AC doesn't work. This is unacceptable for a paid stay. I left last night and stayed somewhere else

When we checked in we were waiting in line for almost 20 minutes. During that time a man got up from a chair in the lobby 3 times and went behind the counter to help the 1 other employee but never helped check people in. We were in the room for 10 minutes before going to dinner and saw 3 cockroaches. After dinner we saw about 30 of them all over the room and the bed. They were coming from everywhere. We had an early flight and it was 11 pm so we slept in my truck. Also the bathroom door was broken, there was no secondary lock on the front door and 1 of the lights started flickering even though we never turned it on. This property is disgusting and the staff obviously doesn't care about providing even decent service. I will be calling ******* for my money back. Hands down the worst place I have ever stayed

Room was dirty the shower had a loud noise with hair everywhere, A/C and refrigerator had a loud noise we couldn't sleep .Guest smoking and out on the staircase. The housekeeper was very nice and helped us mostly we getting extra towels .And location was perfect .But everything else was horrible.

Room was not clean. Left over trash under cabinet. Hallway was full of trash. Non smoking room smell of smoking substance. Crack in wall. Sink and tub had cracks and broken parts. Available parking without having to pay.

Except for 2 front desk (women), service was very poor, problems with Internet access parental control, room door locks, and poor room cleaning.

HORRIBLE CATFISHED.... SHOES PICTURES OF BEAUTIFUL PROPERTIE... WHEN IT WAS A CRACK HEADS PARIDISE 1ST YOU WALK IN AND OVER WHELMED BY SMELL GOODS. GET TO ROOM .. NOTHING LIKE PICTURES RESERVED KIND BED.. 2 QUEENS IS WHAT I GOT... SO OUTDATED .. TOWLS N SHEETS HAD STAINS ALL ON THEM.. NO HOT WATER.. WOKE UP BLEEDING BECAUSE THERE WAS SCREW IN BED N CUT ME UP.. PHONE DIDNT WORK. MANGER STILL HASN'T CALLED ME TO GIVE REFUND OR ASK FOR HOSPITAL BILL..had lobby guy write note because he stopped me from recording I still did.. have over 4 videos of nasty room me bleeding ... ohhh n the **** n mold smell crazy

The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the great location. I agree with the review below that they can charge more because of it. We ended up here at the last minute for a Friday night since our other options which were far nicer and around the same price ($150) or cheaper filled up. We did not see any pests so that was good and it was clean so I will give them that. But, we checked in late so we got an ADA accessible room so that was weird for us. This looked more like a motel than a hotel to me with the rooms facing outside and the old AC units.

The hotel itself is old and needs to be majorly updated. You can tell they have done so cosmetically, but I think they need to do it structurally not just new furniture and fresh paint. If all you are needing is a place to sleep then save some money, but if you can spend a bit more or can book ahead of time do not stay here! The breakfast was free and looked good and the people who were also staying here looked friendly and there were families so safety wise the hotel is good. I think most people were tourists going to the theme parks like we were, but overall we would not stay here again.
