Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa Universal Studios Area, Orlando1 / 50
8.2
Orlando, 9500 Turkey Lake Rd (15 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had a great time at this resort. The resort overall has so many activities and amazing amenities. The room itself was clean for the most part except for a stain on the bed we found.
We love Westgate lake and resorts. This is our 3rd year. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and the resorts is beautiful. If there’s only 1 minor thing we could point out, it is that the rooms have no real curtains. They have the window shades which u can open and close but they are not blacked out. This means you’re early awake from the sun coming in your rooms.
This is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. If I have another chance to go to Orlando, I will also choose this resort, and I will let my friends choose!
Not bad, the price/performance ratio is high, and the scenery is great. There is a swimming pool downstairs and food is available. It is a typical resort hotel. I will stay here again next time. Not bad.
Everything about this place is amazing! They have a plethora of pools and they always answer at the front desk. It’s easy to get towels even though the resort is huge! They are a great help and offer great deals for seaworld and water parks nearby.
Do not recommend to others for a family vacation. Not well organised. The resort is huge and you will have to get to the main entrance first to have a ride with Uber or Lfyt. I did not drive but it seems that the parking space is very crowded for anyone who brings a car.

The room and overall environment were great. However, housekeeping wasn't very timely. For two days, because we left later, we called to request room cleaning, but when we returned, we found that no one had come.
The hotel is cost-effective and it is very convenient to book the shuttle bus to Disneyland in advance. It is noisy at night because there is a bar on the first floor, but it is relatively quiet after the bar ends. The sanitary conditions are relatively good.
The room was nice but you had to pay $49 per night for entertainment facilities, but we didn't use them. The hotel is close to Disneyland but far from Universal.
My husband and I were attending a business meeting. We booked for one night only at $300 plus dollars and our room was on the sixth floor but facing the Lobby. We were not able to get any sleep because of the noise from the Bar which is located next to the check in. There was yelling and shouting well past 1:30 am. Not sure why they would put an open bar in the lobby. I would have asked to be...
Excellent stay. We had a great time at the pool, and it didn't get busy until the weekend. Lots of poolside activities to keep everyone occupied. The laser light shows at the pool every night was fun and entertaining. Longitude and Latitude restaurant downstairs had the best lunch service and good food. Appreciated the free shuttles to and from any park in Disney World.
The hotel is large in scale, there are a lot of people during the spring break, the facilities are perfect, and the breakfast is rich. The water playground in the hotel is suitable for both adults and children, and there is also a golf training ground. The hotel also has a Disney ticket sales point, and the shuttle bus to Disneyland needs to be booked in advance.

Should include at least... breakfast. Its a great place to go with family
We only visited for the holiday events and didnt stay in a room. Meeting Santa was BY FAR the best, most organized Santa meet and greet Ive ever experienced. I loved being able to book a specific time window instead of waiting in line forever. Santa was great! The value of pictures was incredible!! The ONLY complaint I have is the price of parking. $40 for parking is absolutely INSANE! The parking...
The Gaylord Palms in Orlando is extremely convenient to Disney and is an amazing hotel. it is a huge hotel with an amazing lobby and has a couple really good restaurants. We’ve only stayed there twice and both were during the Christmas season for their “ICE” extravaganza. They literally build a frozen venue inside the hotel that you walk through with big heavy coats on. Every year it is a different...
I've gone here annually for the ice festival for many years, and it never disappoints. The quality of the rooms is immaculate, but the best part is honestly the atrium in the middle, which is what makes the place so unique I'm the first place. There's so many cute things to see there like shops, koi ponds, and little reptile exhibits. I always enjoy my stay here and the hotel never disappoints!!!!...
ICE, featuring Rudolph was an experience. Was able to purchase group tickets online easily. Staff was super helpful and efficient. It was ridiculously cold obviously but really such a marvelous sight. The skill and craftsmanship is truly amazing. Downside was $38 parking. Yes, you read that right parking was $38, $30 if purchased before visit online. I cant justify that amount for maybe two hours...
I had an amazing time at Gaylord Palms Resort with my granddaughters on a very last-minute stay, and I was truly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, even with our short notice. The holiday experience in December is absolutely magical. The seasonal décor, ICE sculptures, and festive atmosphere went above and beyond anything I expected. My granddaughters...

I came here to attend an exhibition. The service was extremely poor, practically nonexistent. We stayed three nights and the towels weren't changed. When we called the front desk to ask for new towels, they said we'd have to pay a $15 service fee. On the morning of our last day, at 8:00 AM, they asked if we wanted to extend our stay. I said I wasn't sure yet. The front desk staff then gave me a sarcastic...
The receptionists were also very polite! I was often worried because I didn't understand English, but the staff were very polite and helpful. Even when it was difficult to communicate, they smiled and explained things clearly, which put me at ease. I was able to stay comfortably thanks to their attentive attention to detail, and I'm truly grateful. I would definitely like to use your services again...
It's very clean and everyone was friendly.
Very excellent and I recommend it
It looks like a big hotel, but the service is really not up to par. The room service came the next day, but I didn't get up, so they took an hour to come, and then they never showed up again. They recommended two things to me during my stay, the first one was when I checked in, and the second one was a phone call directly to the room one morning. Not a good experience.
I didn’t know what it would be like before I went there. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. I think this hotel has friendly service, delicious food, beautiful environment, and complete facilities. I recommend everyone to book this hotel when coming to Orlando.

Solid option, I’d say this place is a great option for both Disney and universal if not staying on property at either
The most satisfactory hotel among all the hotels I stayed in during this trip. The rooms and services were good. It is worth recommending.
The overall experience was very satisfactory. The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation and many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. This Hilton is my favorite Orlando hotel! Great amenities and now they've refurbished the rooms, and they are beautiful! Very elegant and stylish! The lazy river and pools, large jacuzzi's, and the sports bar (the food is very good there!) are top notch! Got a great holiday rate and that made the stay even sweeter!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Personalized & Warm Our stay at Hilton Orlando was absolutely wonderful. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after long days in Orlando. The amenities, pool area, and overall atmosphere made our stay feel truly special. We would definitely choose...
Probably one of the best Hilton stays I’ve ever had! The hotel was immaculate, updated, upscale, and had a calming atmosphere. The gym was fantastic (two StairMasters!), and self-parking (fee) was super close and convenient. My kids loved the pool, lazy river, basketball court, and hot tub. The adult pool was also great — definitely get a cabana (fee). There aren’t nightly activities, but the pool...
Short stay as this was was due to my flight being delayed and the airline providing the room. The rooms were very nice and well appointed. Hotel public areas were well kept and clean. Actually wished I would have had more time there to enjoy the property.. From what I saw, I would highly recommend this place for a stay.
I’ve stayed here before and I had a great stay both times. Room smells clean and is clean. I needed a fan to sleep and they brought one up with an extra blanket for my baby. There’s a lot to do on the property. My daughter went to the pool then went to the basketball court that they have to practice her shot. The fire pit is cozy and is a great touch. Pretty good! It's convenient for getting to the parks. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the parks and the shopping village. Just note, there's no bus to Epcot, so don't wait around for it like we did! 😂 😂
We booked a fireworks-view room, and we could see the Epcot fireworks and light show. The shuttle bus made it easy to get to other parks, and there was also a boat option. You can take a nice walk along the hotel's waterfront. The room was small, and the bathroom was especially tiny. Both the hotel and Disney had a strong Christmas atmosphere, with beautiful decorations!
This hotel requires a boat ride to get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, both ways, and the scenery is fantastic. For Magic Kingdom, you can just take the hotel's shuttle bus. As an official Disney-designated hotel, you get early park access, which means you can skip the lines and go straight to attractions, playing at least two rides without waiting – it's awesome! I highly recommend this place.
One of the classic hotels. Beautiful view with excellent transportation networks. Had a very good time with friends and families.
We enjoyed our stay at The Dolphin - it will most likely be our Disney “go to” hotel from here on out. It’s clean, beautiful and the lobby is big enough it doesn’t feel crowded. We appreciate that the “theme” is more adult/classy and there were minimal children running loose. The food options were good and the bar options were excellent.
Orlando Disney was absolutely fantastic! The service and facilities were excellent. Check-in at the front desk was fast, and there was always someone available 24/7 to assist. The lobby also features a Fuel convenience store where you can pick up drinks, fruit, and sandwiches, which was incredibly convenient! Great location close to the parks with a shuttle. Only problem was the 9:11AM shuttle was full when we tried to book it. Try to book in advance.
The hotel was beautiful. We went two days after Christmas and all the decorations were still up. It was gorgeous. Then we went to Animal Kingdom and we really enjoyed the Safari. Last but definitely not least we went to the Rain Forest Cafe at Disney Springs. It was awesome.
We have a great time at Caribe Royale Resort, it was sk convienent. Disney was within 10-15 minutes, about 5 minutes to the outlets, and restaurants. The staff was great as well.
The room is beautiful and luxurious, the location is good, the environment is comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. The bathtub is super big and super comfy. It's just a shame there's no buffet breakfast, and the hotel bar closed early due to lack of business, which was very inconvenient.
Great facilities and comfortable suite. No complaints!
The place is beautiful. Elevators are slow and you kind of have to explore and figure things out on your own.

The best place I've ever stayed
This is a large hotel facility with a nice golf course, so if you play golf this could be a great choice. The rooms are a little dated but clean and so are the overall facilities but the staff are nice. It's almost something out of the 1990s with an older crowd.
This is one of our favourite hotels anywhere. We took our entire three generation family there from the UK a couple of years ago and this year we effectively added a two day stay onto a two week villa rental vacation just so that we could revisit the hotel and play the golf course. There was long hair in some of the towels. I was disappointed that there was no microwave. There was a loud noise in the room at 2 am, I reported it but no one got back to me. It was very disturbing. The housekeeping staff were unfriendly, no hello, no good morning!
Really great hotel very close to the South Concourse of the Orlando Convention center. Other concourses has a sky bridge to avoid the sun and rain! The rooms were spacious and clean! Hotel staff are attentive and always helpful. Having a Walgreens next door is also amazing to buy anything you might have forgotten for your trip. Overall a really great hotel!
great spot for a convention! All the facilities were great. Only glitch is the bar service at the pool bar is very very slow. Only one bartender doing everything, line was long and service very slow, too many customers for one bartender
We liked the facilities and polite staff with one exception that the Jacuzzi was over crowded than its limit and somehow dirty water. Overall stay was comfortable.
Not bad, a relatively large hotel in the area

Breakfast was very mediocre, not much variety. However, it's very close to Disneyland.
The amenities are old and bathroom is not clear the way I’d like. The shower water wasn’t heated up well, and hot water didn’t last long enough for 3 ppl for tow days in row. Parking charge is much higher than some hotels. Won’t return for sure.
Booked this for my bosses. I heard it was split into two buildings, so I assume it was decent since I didn't get any negative feedback. The price was quite high during the exhibition, but the surrounding area was alright. Orlando is a beautiful city.
Shower space is to small and narrow.. They also chargeed resort fee $30 each night. And charge for the parking each day $25 , so each day i got $55 additional expense. So It is not good to do shopping with the price listed on the web site.  I’m a hilton honor memeber but not really feeling well treated…

It feels great and the lake view is beautiful.
The hotel has rich entertainment facilities
The hotel room facilities are relatively simple and there is room for improvement. The landscaping outside is beautiful. The breakfast is very average and the parking fee is expensive. But the front desk staff is very nice. I will not book again.
At first, we were given a room at the end of the corridor, and it was on the second floor. There was a musty smell when we entered... It was hard to rate it. Went in November so maybe they are used to hot Florida summers and had the AC turned too far down. I would go back if necessary to be in that area.
We love the proximity to Disney Springs. We have stayed at this hotel many times and love it. We got our free water and coffee vouchers when we checked in and picked up some quick eats at the Market Store. There was live entertainment in the evenings when we were there and we enjoyed sitting in the lobby listening to it while having a drink. The room was spacious and clean and met all of our needs...
