Marenas Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach

Construction is loud next door , it your sensitive to those type of working noises this would not be the place for you. We originally booked our room through a broker on Airbnb, who is affiliated with the hotel. When we arrived, they did not have a room available and tried to compensate after 3 hours by offering breakfast and a one bedroom which was not sufficient for our family. We were in the lobby for three hours and not treated very well by the female that kept apologizing to management on the phone for bothering them rather than apologizing to us for our inconvenience of not having a room and missing dinner plans. A manager came to us and took pictures of my phone reservations but left for the day with out helping . Later that evening, I was able to obtain a new reservation with a room there that was privately owned and care was coordinated with another person at the desk and went quite smoothly. If you are traveling a long day like we were, I would definitely be checking with the hotel that the reservations were correct. It was on the hotel side that the mistake was made.

Location is wonderful. The beach is clear and clean and the gentleman working to do the chairs are the best part of the hotel. They work very hard to make sure that everybody has what they need and help with replacing towels are quick to respond to anything that you need help with. They are truly amazing in customer service. There you get gentleman at the front desk also that we’re good.

Restaurant was in a hall where repairs are being completed .missing ceiling's. Staff was nice. Food was average but the best coffee . Pina coladas 22 dollars .
For 4600 for 5 days the room set up was nice , has washer / dryer and 3 bathroom . No in room service . The view is great at night of city and beach . During the day the construction view is disable . The beach view is amazing . The Airbnb owner we worked with on second room was available fast. To answer questions .

The hotel was great but the location was not so great.

First, there is construction next door. I get that they can't fully control this.

Second, it is right off the main highway. It is not convenient for walking with small children. I don't understand how bikes and motorized scooters share a tiny sidewalk with pedestrians. Not safe.

Third, the only way to get the stroller down to walk on the sidewalk is by going through the garage. The hotel was very kid friendly but the area was not so much.

The room service It has very limited opening hours, at night until 8:30 pm and breakfast only starts at 7:30 am.
If you arrive after this time, there is nothing else to ask for in the room.
If you have to leave early for work or even for fun, you will have to buy something to eat.
The floor balcony must be better clean.
The bathroom shower throws more water on the wall than on the person shower.
The toilet does not have a hygienic shower.
