I recommend this hotel for families. The location was convenient. Attractions like the Aquarium and World of Coca Cola were close. There was also a mall with multiple restaurants and such connected to the hotels so you won’t have to go outside. Definitely check out this hotel!

Convenient location for access to downtown and to travel outside city limits but facilities are quite old without proper repairing. Staff was kind but still somewhat behind comparing with other Hilton sites. Valet system is not well being operated.

The only negative thing I would say is that the parking situation was a little confusing. Apparently, the parking garage is not owned by the hotel, and if you don't go to the counter to have them add the fees to your room card, you have to pay to both get in AND out. This was later brought to our attention at the front desk after we had difficulty getting out (the parking assistant was no help). She told us that someone was supposed to let us know that information upon check-in, but no one ever did. I understand it was a busy weekend because a concert was in town, but I feel like that information should be more readily available and obvious for people. I'm not sure if the guy doing the check-in forgot or what, but perhaps it should be more clear on the app/website or a sign on the counter pointing this information out. That way, I wouldn't have spent an extra $30.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing and for reaching food and entertainment places by walk. The service at the hotel was good, nothing special, very kind. The hotel offers gym and pool access but we did not use them.

As a guest at the Sheraton Atlanta, I was looking for dinner at 8pm. I found the menu online and chose what I was going to eat...crab cakes. Upon arrival, my choice was not on the menu the waitress stated that the online menu was outdated. I asked the waitress to speak to the chef and I was accommodated with a comparable online price. Thank you for the accommodation. In the end, as the manager did rounds at the patrons tables, I informed him of the online menu discrepancy and he stated he will meet with his website team to get it updated. They had tv's on so you could watch the World Series. They seem to have a great list of alcoholic beverages. The service was pleasant and not too many interruptions of my dinning experience. I did see that people were unsure of whether they are to seat themselves or wait to be seated. The crab cakes were to die for. ..worth the trip!

The service was excellent, as well as the beers. The food was pretty decent as well! I was hoping that they had more items on the menu for folks traveling for work and dining alone, but most apps were designed for two or more. Overall, I'll be back!

I have to start with the atmosphere of this place. It's a bit whimsical, but not really enough to make a statement. There are mirrors and striped upholstery, bent glasses and curved silverware.

Moving on to the food. We got hummus appetizer, tomato soup and a grilled chicken sandwich. All 3 things were excellent.

The reason for 3 stars boils down to the service. We weren't drinking. We got very little food (which all came out at the same time, by the way). My boyfriend and I were there much longer than necessary. Our server would disappear for long periods. Our water was almost always empty. And the restaurant really wasn't very full.

Alex is the best bartender! If you are ever in Atlanta visit this place and see him! Great service, great conversation, and he took care of my husband and I! #Givethismanaraise!

Pretty expensive for what you get. Paid $15 for a pizza, it was good but not great. Wait staff was good with checking in on us a lot. Restaurant should have a trail mix without nuts for guests with allergies. Atmosphere is good for a sports game. Beer flight was all IPA's, they should have more variety with a GA beer flight.

Pounced in when I got there, got a not advertised flight of beer (I think it was the manager bar tending), food came out too fast, but was fresh and hot, then ignored for the other 45 minutes I was there maybe some water or a dessert when you cleared the plates / cups - no! To make it worse check was missing dinner. After waiting 10 minutes, being ignored and finally informing the bartender, I made a stink in the kitchen, 5 more minutes still no manager! The bartender said it was on the House for the trouble and wait, good that they at least empower the employees! Even tried to pay for the beer (so I could at least leave a tip) and they said no/ refused. So minus stars for service, plus stars for food and quality.

FYI - last ATL (4+ years ago)visit I went here multiple times and brought over others and over $500+ business to this place, the service side (and management) is slipping severely. Only good side is they empower employees to make things right, and the food has good quality.

The staff was professional and friendly. The food was amazing! I got the ribs, my husband got the salmon and added shrimp skewers. Even the kids cheese pizza and fish were tasty... The only bad thing was we ate everything so there were no leftovers. My cocktail was probably one of the best I've ever had too. This is my new favorite place.

We went last evening as a party of 12 to celebrate my birthday. The food was good and the atmosphere is nice. The service was horrible. Service can make or break a restaurant. It took over 30 minutes just to get our first round of drinks, most of which were house brewed drafts. No appetizers were offered and it appears that the two servers who waited on us weren't coordinating at all. One of the servers even began to take dinner orders before our first round of drinks arrived. She took orders from all 12 from one end of the table, which also seemed odd to me. A man who appeared to be a manager walked around the restaurant and checked on a few tables, but never checked on a party of 12, which seemed odd. Drink refills were slow to arrive because there was little checking in on the table. Some drink orders never arrived until we had to work to get the attention of the servers. At the end of the meal, dessert wasn't offered to the table. When it came time for checks, things once again seemed to be all mixed up. Not sure that I should give the restaurant another try or not.

I can't express enough how amazing the food and environment is here. I got the Manhattan steak plate both days I came and it was perfect each time. My friend got the ribs and they char the sauce on perfectly. The drinks are well made and the staff is helpful and seem to love their job. It's the best place to get amazing food and a relaxed environment. I even caught ATL rapper Russ on the speakers and it made my day. Definitely make this a point to try!

I need to update my review. Because of my original post I was contacted by someone in their corporate office and urged to give them a second chance, which I did this past weekend.
We came in this past Saturday night - at the peak time of 7:30. Though there was a wait, we had made a reservation and were seated immediately.
Our waiter was very pleasant and professional. We each ordered drinks from the bar and they were delivered quickly. Our food came out less than 10 minutes after we placed our order. My wife had the fried chicken and I had the Manhattan steak. My steak was a perfect mid-rare.
All in all, we will be back, though we are still hesitant about visiting during DragonCon, we come downtown often enough that we will consider Max Lager's anytime we are in the vicinity.
