Troy, McKayla, and Kristen made my stay at the Ellis Hotel exceptional. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and their hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Additionally the valet service attendant Raheem went above and beyond as well, not just regarding exceptional service, but for my safety as well. These individuals should be recognized by their integrity and work ethic.

The reviews I’ve read seem so misleading but maybe I caught them on a bad weekend! When I arrived. The Key Card system was down so anytime I had to get to my room and I had to be escorted up to my room and let in. Valet parking is 55$ per day but failed to inform guest they stop valet at 12am. Had to go out but could not retrieve my car. Even after failure to get it valeted, the front desk contacted valet management to just retrieve the key and the valet manager did not know the password to the valet box which is troublesome to me. Room was decent. Small and out dated but clean! Just not what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel in downtown Atlanta. The AC hotel down the street was a lot better.

Didnt eat in the Ellis, but absolutely everyone was at the top of friendly, competent and all went above the call of duty making our business trip for the Gift Market a piece of cake. IZZY, Michelle, Michaela , & Frank are Outstanding!

Need better lighting in bathrooms and replace bathroom sliding doors so they stay open. Understanding this is an old building, but two elevators seem insufficient for the property. I waited 5 minutes for the elevator once during my stay. Better dining offerings, especially breakfast.

This is just another reminder that Marriott will lend their name to just about any hotel that will use thier reservation system. it is tired. Not professional. No TV remote in the room. The replacement remote they brought up did not work. Only one towel in the room. The sink and shower had a surge of muddy water come out when first turned on. the shower drain did not work - you stood in dirty water while showering. Will not stay here again.

Love everything about the Ellis! It’s a small unassuming boutique hotel through Marriott. Its history goes back 110 years and has the distinction of being the first high rise in downtown Atlanta. The rooms, while smaller, are well appointed with luxe finishes, quiet and had a beautiful downtown view. The true gem however is the staff! Everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. The valet, James, retrieved our car several times and each time picked up our previous conversation and treated us like family. Treat yourself to a bit of history and luxury and stay with “friends” at the Ellis!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The furniture was a bit aged, but I didn’t mind.

I recently stayed at The Ellis Hotel by Marriott while in Atlanta for a golf tournament, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, and quick routes to several nearby golf courses.

The staff was exceptional throughout my stay. From check-in to checkout, everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely considerate. I especially appreciated the follow-ups after I checked in—just to make sure everything in my room was up to standard. It’s the kind of extra attention that makes a stay memorable.

My room was spotless, well-appointed, and surprisingly quiet for being in a busy part of the city. After long days on the course, coming back to such a clean, comfortable space made all the difference.

Overall, I’d highly recommend The Ellis Hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta—whether you’re here for business, a tournament, or just a quick getaway. Great location, great people, and the kind of service that goes above and beyond.

The food was great except however one certain staff member was telling me how to spend my money and how I should tip her loads because she brought the food out to me!!
I'm not being funny but all credit was due to the chef who created what I ordered not to the joker that walked 10 steps to bring it to me!!
Apart from that great atmosphere not a bad place to watch you're favourite sport

This was my first time at Hooters, and as expected, it is the height of mediocrity! The waitresses are, of course, attractive and scantily clad, but the wings and beer selection are just ok. It does have more TVs than send reasonable, so it is a great spot for sports, but despite like 30 TVs, they only had two games on. Makes you wonder what the point of 30 TVs is...

I don't normally give bad reviews because I was taught that if I have nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all. From bad service to them trying to overcharge for extra blue cheese. I ordered 20 wings and 24 buffalo shrimp and I got 2 little to go sides of blue cheese. When I asked for an extra blue cheese they tried to charge me $1.09. Incredible. My bill was $40.58. You are really gonna charge me for extra dressing? Apart from that the attendant was very rude and not friendly at all. Must be cause it's a tourist area and they know that those customer will probably never return. Still it's no reason to be so rude. I've never been so disappointed with the service at any other Hooters restaurant in my life. Oh and please clean up your sticky floors. They should definitely do undercover boss at this location!

Hey everyone... was there last night with a group of friends from Montreal Canada..it was late and figured we grab something quick!
We ended up at hooters....but to our surprise we had the best service by one of the waitresses named Eryn... she was attentive and provided the utmost best customer service I've seen! You don't get service like this in some five star restaurants! Bravo! Merci !

My son and I dined at Hard Rock Cafe for the first time today. We're from Houston and I've always wanted to dine here. Today was the day and it was an experience worth while. Not only did they entertain but every server was nice and attentive. Our server was Tay and she was sweet, polite, and awesome with her service. When I visit Hard Rock Cafe again it will be to this location specifically. My son had a great time and for a mom like me that puts a smile on my face. Thank you Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta. You guys are a great team. Keep up the good work!

The best place I've been. I will bring friends next time I come. The music food atmosphere is energetic, fun, and sometimes mellow. Great for a rocker like me ❤♈

Didn't have to wait upon arrival because we sat in the bar. We took a dirty table because we were told the bartender would come right over and clean it when we sat down. He did. We ordered and waited for what was about 40 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. All the while we were subjected to listening to a VERY loud and OBNOXIOUS bartender singing and pretty much shouting to the customers. Food was ok, I had the nachos which were pretty much suffocating under a heavy layer of jalapenos. Watered down Pepsi that didn't taste even remotely like Pepsi. Slow on refilling our drinks. Be prepared about spending $25 to eat when there is a troupe of homeless people wrapped up in blankets standing outside the window by your table.

Made a reservation for a group of 10, they said no problem! Showed up and instead they had 2 small tables and refused to put them together so our group could sit together. We were in a corner, out of the way, and tried to move the tables when a server came running up and pushing the tables back, saying there were different servers for each table. We said that was fine, we could still keep them as separate servers, we'd just like to see each other. Then they said it was a fire hazard and said it still wasn't possible. So we sat, segregated and with our backs to each other, and basically long story short this place is decent if you have maximum 5 people but absolutely not friendly for larger groups.

Edit: just dropped this to 1 star... I got their lava Java burger and it was literally handfuls of salt on top of a burger. I bit into it and choked. Scrapped as much of it off (there was a good tablespoon in just half of the burger) to eat it but will definitely not be getting this ever again...

Cute spot. Laid back. Had the soup, it was good but looked like it was served in a dog bowl. Sabrina the bartender was awesome. Very friendly and fast.

The remodel is nice, but I miss the taps! There's a reason why they're known for their Cubans! The burgers are awesome too. Nice atmosphere n good place to watch sports.
