Lovely hotel, excellent location near to attractions, subways, restaurants, shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a very good size and would have been a perfect 10/10 but unfortunately no views at all from the windows. There was a mini bar in the room which we didn't use. The weather was extremely cold but the hotel and our room was lovely and warm. Will definitely stay here again.

The Michelangelo Hotel is a nice traditional hotel. It’s clean comfortable and quiet. Staff are very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay there.

I had a mailing listing for the former Hotel TAFT. I was unable to visit the hotel during my New York City trip due to my son's medical emergency in 2016. Maybe better luck next time.

Very central and great location, you can breathe the air of New York in the 50s.

Cons: Noisy. During Thanksgiving, the noise from the street continued until midnight.

Pros: Very large rooms, good value for money, close to Times Square, subway station, and Broadway theaters.

Note: There is an extra hotel charge of approximately $40 per day, but this can be deducted from your purchase at the hotel bar for around $10.

This was my second stay. The location is great, very convenient for getting around; Fifth Avenue, Central Park, and Times Square are all within walking distance. I also personally like the hotel's decor. The breakfast restaurant is good, and I think the staff are mostly of Italian descent. The only issue was that the air conditioning in my room was a bit off; it wasn't very cold, but the temperature was tolerable, so I didn't bother asking them to fix it. The parking lot is in a building next door, about a five-minute walk. There's an Asian food street next door—actually, it's called something like "Singapore Street Food"—but I didn't get a chance to eat there because I was out having fun every day 😂

The location is good, the front desk and the bellman are very friendly. There is an opera house, a check-in restaurant, and a supermarket next to the hotel.

The service is excellent and the room is large, suitable for two adults with a child. The facilities are a bit old, but the maintenance is good. The hotel is in a good location with convenient transportation and two subway stations nearby.

That night, I paid an additional $35 to change from a king-size room to a twin room, and then paid about $60 in various taxes and fees. The room was very large, with a dressing room, a separate wet and dry bathroom, and the twin beds could sleep four people.

Went there for the first time. Horrible service. The employee was busy talking with someone, did not even care to help. Was empty when I went in. and no one behind me,was rushing me select my choices. And then immediately emptied into the plastic box. After asked him to chop the salad, he told I should asked when I started. Did it half halfheartedly. Food wise you can add lot of choices for free, they looked pale and old food. Would not go back and would not recommend. They trying to compete with Chop'It next door and I prefer Chop'It for the food and service. No wonder they are empty.

This resturant is an upscale seafood reasturant with great seafood and exceptional service. But despite being a seafood restaurant, Blue Fin manages to surprise me with one dish, there steak. I love steak and have had steak in many places but I have to say this steak was the best I have ever had. It was juicy but not fatty a perfect balance between juicy and tender. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Service was great- and they were accommodating towards a pre-theatre dinner. The drinks were EXCELLENT... however, was very underwhelmed with the sushi rolls. I was not a fan of the different flavors and sauces that they put into the rolls (mangos in one, mint in another- yuck). For the price point, there are much better places in the city for sushi!

Went there for the first time the decor was nice. Can't say much for the waitress that complained to the bartender about a customer buying a drink at the bar because she was taking too long to serve him. I think it's very rude and unprofessional for waiters to complain about customers especially in front of other customers and asked did he pay on top of that smh. I would have thought this would have been a high class spot but with the unfriendly staff well I should just say waitresses I could see why not. Thank God I only ordered takeout and didn't take my wife there. It would have been very unpleasant stay. I think McDonald's staff have better service and better attitudes than the staff at Blue Fin.

Although it was two years ago, it was a date I still remember to this day. The food was excellent. Our host and server was attentive, polite, and his recommendations were on point. Sorry some didn't have the experience I had. We saw a great show, had cocktails below before dinner; and were quickly seated, because we had dinner reservations. I'll never forget that wonderful evening!

A group of 7 of us had to meet here for breakfast before a client meeting. 5 of us had bags. They fed us, let us hang out for another hour and checked our bags for us while we took a meeting in the area. Such friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t ask for much more.
