The facilities are exceptionally well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and larger than many New York hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, less than 500 meters from Saks Fifth Avenue. Excellent in every way, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at the San Carlos! Our family of 4 stayed a suite with a pull out couch. The room was spacious, affordable and clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The area was quiet (loved this!) but walkable to plenty of areas we wanted to visit with subway stations nearby as well. Highly recommend, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had not been to New York before this trip but we chose wisely with the San Carlos. The location looked good on the map and that is how it turned out. It was close to the places that we wanted to visit, was handy for the subway, and had close proximity to the facilities that we wanted. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room that we had was everything that had been outlined in the brochure. The hotel was very neat and impeccably clean. We did not eat at the hotel but the immediate hinterland was well provided with eating places. We would have no hesitation in recommending the San Carlos to anyone visiting New York.

Good hotel in midtown Manhattan, dated but properly renovated and kept up to date. We had a quiet and good size room. All staff was very cordial and efficient.

Fun service staff, tasty food and the perfect atmosphere for a great night out. With plenty of options to choose from, we shared five starters between two people in order to taste as much as possible - each was unique and incredibly tasty. I've experienced plenty of bland Mexican food and this was the complete opposite - though I'm not sure how authentic. The upper loft-like seated dinning area was fun and overall the whole evening great.

Bad service, girl was in no good mood and forgot to take my order, she knows not much about what they sell, food is not the best for the big price they want. Not recommended

This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant, a nice place to have a sit-down meal or just drinks with a group of people. The food is all pretty good, so you probably won't go wrong with whatever you order, and the service is pretty pleasant and efficient.

I enjoyed the whole experience at Dos Caminos. The service was excellent. We were somewhat in a hurry and the server was very fast and efficient. The fish tacos were the best I’ve ever had. The only drawback is no free chips and salsa with the meal.

Food was fine but they give you a VERY short time to eat and be out of there. When I arrived at 6:15 they said we had to be out of there by 7:15pm. And then right at 7:05 they were there with the check telling us that we had to be out by 7:15. Felt like we had to scarf down our food with little to no time to enjoy drinks. VERY disappointing. If you are looking for a nice relaxing evening do not come here. They give you just over an hour to order get your food and eat.

I've been to less than clean hole in the wall joints that have been absolutely exceptional and Mendy's is not one of them. Bland food, un-attentive staff - one even had a hole in his disposable rubber gloves as he prepped food, which looked stale and left out for far too long.
I'd complain about the outrageous prices too but hell, I wouldn't even come here if it was free. If you're hankering for a sandwich, do yourself a favor and just go to the subway next door.

I went there today for brunch. I did not have to wait for a table. I suggest the soy garlic wings. My only complaint would be that their online menu vastly differs from the menu at the restaurant, please update.

The food was awesome ?? and the service was great too. The tofu salad took a little longer than expected to come out so my girlfriend had to watch me eat a quarter through my meal, she did have the cheese corn in front of her but it wasn't sizzling like it was last time. I would definitely eat here again, very good vibes when I'm eating and making conversation. Ohh and the tater tots are soooooo good too.

Good Korean food with beer. What else could you ask for? Well they knew what to give... K-pop videos and other channels are projected on the walls, fast courteous service, and lunch specials. This place is a lunch hour and happy hour well spent.
