I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the incredible staff. I want to personally thank Jimmy, Marie, Zach, Simon, Johnny and Judge for the compassion, kindness, and care they showed me during my stay.

I was there because my mom was in the hospital, which was one of the hardest times in my life. Every single day, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel supported and welcomed. After long, emotionally exhausting days, walking back into the hotel felt like coming home. Their smiles, kindness, and understanding truly brought comfort when I needed it most.

If it were possible to give more than five stars, I would without hesitation. They didn’t just provide great service — they provided empathy, warmth, and a sense of peace during a very painful time. I will absolutely stay here again, hopefully under much better circumstances. I will forever be grateful for the way they treated me.

My girlfriend was kicked out the moment she entered the lobby. No reason was given. I forfeited the room, because there is no way I will stay somewhere we are not welcome.

Everything was Wonderful. Breakfast was good, except for some of the tenents were rude. Im sure the hotel does't care for people taking so much food to the room. I mean, at least 9 full plates of food

Their breakfast was very good and it was quite a nice and clean in my room on the third floor. Yes there's homeless that's Portland pretty much everywhere so you might make your entry and exit brief but I found it to be perfectly safe.

Absolutely not. The people in the lobby looked rough, but we are from Tacoma so it’s nothing we aren’t use to. We went to our room and there were some chunks missing from the sink and the ceiling had a crack and some pealing and I just figured it was an old place but it seemed clean and our door locked so I was happy. We left for a minute and came back and next to the microwave I noticed some red spots on the drapes and I looked over and realized the was some red spots on the wall too and quickly realized it was blood…… someone probably shot up next to the wall and it had squirted on the curtain and wall… this is gross and I instantly felt like the room probably wasn’t as clean as I thought it was. I went to the front desk and explained it to a different guy behind the desk and he gave us a new room and checked out our room and saw the blood and checked out our new room too. He was super nice. We got to our second room and it SEEMED much better! My wife asked what was on the sink and I told her it looked like burn marks, which makes sense considering the drug usage in our previous room… and she didn’t believe me….. so to prove it I touched it and realized it was not a burn and in fact was like what I assume to be dried spit or dried tooth paste, but it was kind of grey and chunky so who really knows. So I cleaned it. But I couldn’t tell my wife she was right because it was late and I just wanted to go to bed and she was already upset about the blood. Then as I went to go pull back the blankets for the bed (that wasn’t super comfy) I found a very long black hair (that wasn’t mine) in between the sheets. I do not think that this is the second workers fault. He was super helpful and polite. However I think house keeping here isn’t super great…. If you want a clean room, go somewhere else.

Manager James ALWAYS delivers an excellent experience. Security improved with new, tall wrought iron fencing. The rooms received new furnishings and fixtures maintaining the upscale “feel”.

Manager Jimmy takes time to know me personally and is always aware when I am coming for a stay. Excellent staffing service. Rooms have been upgraded very nicely!

There were two staff at breakfast that did a good job of keeping everything stocked even though it was busy.

The staff at breakfast was rude and would not let me bring anything up to the room for my daughter. The bathroom was discussing we didn't even shower there. I took pictures because it was the worst hotel I have ever stay at.
