Just got back from 2 nights. Extremely crowded! They are not equipped to handle that many people! (Open to the public, not just resort guests) 30 minute waits for any coffee/market purchases. Good luck finding seating. If you do, it’ll be dirty. They had zero service people. Of course everything was overpriced. 10.00 for a bottled beer. (I get resort prices, but this place isn’t that special.) Room service was too overwhelmed to use the first night. Planned for breakfast to be delivered the next morning, but I was going to be an hour late so we cancelled. Don’t bother trying getting into the nice restaurants without reservations made prior to the trip. We made them for Ravello, but that was a huge disappointment. 245.00 bill for mediocre food for three. Charged for parking with the room and while leaving the lot. Over 80 bucks for two nights. Still have to call to resolve that. The place is beautiful and has wonderful decorations. Would probably be better with atrium view. The gift shop was the biggest part of the Ice attraction. Maybe better for little ones. Not worth it for Christmas.

This place is too big for it's own good. Unless you have a car, you are essentially trapped since the resort is semi isolated. The rooms are overpriced for what you get. The property has staff stationed all over except they are knowledgeable and we were told several times that "they didn't know where that was at". What is the point of having them if they can't actually help you. They do have a shuttle that runs from the hotel to the local mall. It's supposed to be on a schedule but we waited over 45 minutes for a bus that was supposed to run every 30. The inner atrium is always incessantly noisy and there isn't a quiet place to just sit and relax quietly. The restaurants are very overpriced and limited on food choices. Upon check in, we were asked for our Bonvoy ID in order to get points for our stay. He looked us up, found us, and told us that we would get credit for our stay. Those points NEVER appeared on our account. Overall this was a terrible experience and I can not ever imagine coming back here. I have never been this disappointed in a Marriott property.

I can't stop amaze with this hotel. The room, the interior, the architecture everything is amazing

I have never written a Google review for any place or restaurant good or bad but I just felt like this one needed to be done. Even though this place was absolutely beautiful on the inside with all the different atriums and things to do, we did not have the best experience. The view from our room C5094 was gorgeous looking over cascade falls. We opted to have a room cleaned daily. While staying there for 3 nights, our room was cleaned only once, and was not cleaned appropriately. Our children also left their kid's wallets with Christmas money in them on the counter under the TV in case they saw something while there they wanted to buy but we noticed after returning home that money was stolen out of both of them. Now this was partially our fault for not putting them in a suitcase or locking them up in a safe but who would ever think that in a nice resort like this that cleaning people would go through a child's wallet of all things. I also feel like parking should be included with the stay here. It is already expensive to stay here but to have to pay another $37 per day for parking is crazy, which we knew this before going but parking was absolutely packed and it was hard to find parking anywhere close the entrances. Also if you want coffee in the morning from any of the coffee shops, get there before 7 am, otherwise you will be waiting for over an hour in the lines. They definitely need to staff more employees in the mornings at these places during the holidays to help with the crowd. Hope this helps anyone that is planning to stay here. The number one thing is make sure all of your wallets, even kids wallets with dinosaurs on them or anything of value to you is locked in the safe or on your person when leaving your rooms daily. We did file a report with security but I think it will be hard to prove and we are not expecting any compensation but just wanted them to be aware that this happened.

Overall great stay. I feel like as a resort hotel they should offer higher quality room amenities for coffee options and bathroom products as well as additional towels and washcloths, we had 4 people staying and only had 3 washcloths and 2 hand towels. The check in take entirely too long and they should have a way to avoid the long lines by offering digital check in and digital keys for the rooms. Overall the stay was great just some things you feel would a given in a resort hotel with the price paid to stay. The Christmas offering for kids and families is amazing and we did have a great time.

Beautiful, grand, atrium-style hotel with gardens, fountains, restaurants, and shops greeting you upon entry. This place is massive, but great for families and offers a nice serene way to wake up, by walking through the green spaces in search of food or coffee. Kids have plenty of space to run around and be entertained, which is wonderful if you are traveling and they need to get dome energy out first. My kids particularly love the music synchronized fountains.

The rooms are small but very clean and the beds are comfortable. Rooms are quiet other than you can hear the doors slamming shut from the rooms around yours. Soft close doors would be a vast improvement to the sleeping quarters. I highly recommend a room with a balcony, if it is in your budget, as it offers the serenity of sitting and gazing over a small, beautifully landscaped, little village, which is not something you can experience at most hotels.

The service is good, not amazing, 4 out of 5 stars. The holiday decorations and lights interwoven with the gardens and fountains are stunning. My family loves to stay here when we are in the Nashville area at Christmas time, to really feel the magic and beauty of the season. The cost is on the higher side, but fairly priced considering you are also paying for an experience and the convenience of proximity to food, shopping, and entertainment. Unfortunately, there is not a lot to do surrounding the hotel, but Nashville is a relatively quick city to get around and you are roughly 15 minutes from downtown.

Beautiful scenery! Many kid friendly activities (that are all overpriced) but my 4 year old loved it!

Down was our room was surprisingly disappointing, with a temperamental shower and limited storage space for our clothing. They compensated us for noise when I complained about the 3AM maintenance happening outside our window.

It's very rich, but there is a daily resort fee. You also need to pay extra to play in the water park.
