Spa-Hotels in San Antonio

The JW Marriott property is really elegant and beautifully decorated. We loved our ICE experience.

Weekend 2 night stay. The registration was wonderful. The restaurants and bars super nice. The resort itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated for Christmas !! However the rooms are ready for a Refresh remodel !!!The room smelled musty. Probably the fact that they still have carpets in the room. Bathrooms ready for updates as well. Asked for sheets to be changed because they smelled musty...

Very family friendly!! Our 3 year old and 1 year old had a blast at the kid pool and sand area!

Beautiful property. Gorgeous rooms. Incredible pools and things to do. Great restaurants.

This was our 1st time staying here at the JW Marriott. I wanted to bring my children to have some fun in the pool and waterslides. The front office staff was wonderful and ee enjoyed our room. However, on 09/06/2025 after spending time in the pool we all were hungry and the outside food station was closed so, they advised us to go to High Velocity as the food was good and the kids would enjoy it. We...

We visited after Labor Day. It was nice and quite but some restaurants and attractions were closed

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Great location on the Riverwalk.

It started out well enough. The check in service was great. Super fast and easy. The valet as well. And the location of the hotel couldn't be better. It really turns sour for me when it came to the room service we never received. I had to go down to the restaurant and ask for our food 30 mins after it was supposed to arrive. When I did finally get it, I asked what happened and was essentially told...

The room was on the top floor, and the air conditioner was ringing all night and could not be adjusted. The location was good, the breakfast buffet was very rich, with snacks, fruits, and smoked salmon, and the breakfast service was very good.

Overall it was clean and the room was spacious, so it was great. I arrived at the hotel early and just wanted to leave my luggage there, but I was grateful that I was allowed to check in. The only problems were that the elevators never came, and even when they did come on the lower floors they were full and I couldn't get on, and there was a line of people waiting for the elevator from below. The hotel...

Awesome Vacation used our car only once to go to a military base. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Had a great time. Tony Trevino is very friendly and helpful. Thank you. Also the valet is great at getting these cars in and out. We enjoyed your stay. ❤

Wow! Can't wait to go back again! Booked this resort for a fantastic price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and am so grateful to have stayed at my favorite hotel for so much less than I would normally spend. Great hotel! Everything about this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The staff are friendly, the hotel is beautiful and in a great location, the rooms are very clean, quiet, well...

Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the view was great too!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and updated rooms. Food options were varied and delicious.

The staff is great! Very friendly and accomodating. There are a lot of things for kids to do. The gym needs to be updated - worn out and not clean. It is located in a nice area of San Antonio. The rooms were pretty clean. The hallways and lobby areas were FREEZING.

Hotel grounds are beautiful and the property has so many fabulous dining options…even a Michelin star restaurant! Staff is very friendly and rooms are spacious!

The holiday decorations were done so well! Every staff member I encountered was helpful and professional.

Wonderful as always !!! Service is the best, friendly staff and gorgeous rooms!!! Oh and the cookies are delish! Thank you!!

I was here for a work conference for a few days, and everything was great. I want to stress what triggered me to leave this review though. There was a young lady working overnight a couple of nights during my stay. Her name is Asia. She is the friendliest, most helpful, warm and welcoming person I’ve met in YEARS! This resort is extremely fortunate to have her.anything I needed or asked for she was...

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio on New Year’s Eve, and the customer service truly stood out. Jonathan, our valet, was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond, especially helping me with my 6- and 3-year-old, which made a huge difference for our family. His kindness, patience, and professionalism were outstanding. Thomas, who helped carry our luggage, was...

We always enjoy our stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort. I love that they are pet friendly, go above and beyond with a little welcome baggie for our dog, the grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trails and property grounds. The option to have room service was amazing, the food was delicious, my services at the spa were delightful and the staff was so kind in all the departments...

Amazing hotel! Great service! Very relaxing and peaceful. Perfect for kids of all ages.

Amazing amenities, totally worth every dollar. My kids, husband, and I had a blast. They have everything you never need to leave the property! I also visited the spa before I left 10/10. The customer service is top tier.

From the begin to the end of the entrance, customer service, clean room and all. The price little high

Hotel is in a great location downtown! Check in was quick and easy. Staff friendly! Room was spacious. Wish our balcony had two chairs to sit. Would recommend for staying downtown and would stay again!

Great location in a quiet area of the Riverwalk yet walkable to many sites, restaurants, and other entertainment venues.

Nice location and walkable to most places on the river walk. However the rooms were dated and elevators made terrible noises. Room was clean. Staff was super nice and helpful. Not sure it’s worth the price.

We had asked for the pull out sofa to be made. They said it had sheets and everything. It did not. We kept calling with no success. Finally at midnight a security guard brought up the sheets so we could make it ourselves. Disappointed in the lack of service.

Clean room, the staff was all amazing!!!! The bell hop even entertained my kids while I checked out!

Beautiful view . The only discrepancy was that the refrigerator never got cold so all of my food which was really good food, spoiled. Also, the towels in the bathroom had hair all over them as if someone brushed their hair over them and they were never changed. Other than that the view was beautiful

I recently stayed five nights at this Marriott hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they catered to all of our needs with genuine hospitality. The property features a spacious lobby with convenient access to a well-appointed bar, and from the lobby you can easily reach both the River Center and the River Walk—making the location incredibly...

We recently stayed at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spacious and beautiful the lobby is, it felt open, elegant, and inviting, making for a very welcoming first impression. The hotel’s location is outstanding. It’s right in downtown San Antonio, with very easy access to the River Walk and other major...

Excellent location in downtown San Antonio with a shopping mall and restaurants in the same complex. Could see River Walk and the Alamo from our room. Extremely clean, super friendly staff, good food in the hotel bar and restaurant, coffee shop, and massive conference areas. Excellent hotel in one of our favorite cities. Only cons were the parking rates, the pillows, and non-complimentary wi-fi but...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter for 6 wonderful nights. From checkin to checkout the staff were all amazing! We were able to utilize the M club lounge and we cannot say enough about, not only the food provided, but the 2 young ladies, Bridget and Jocelynn, were absolutely the best! They always had a smile on their faces and genuinely cared about our time there making sure...

Had breakfast from the hotel cafe and healthy options were very limited. Rooms were clean and minimal items for guests. There was one water bottle in the room for $6 and that’s all. No items by the bathroom sink whatsoever.

Vlean room, beautiful view of the city, private elevator (only key access). Breakfast not included.

The hotel was wonderful I had a wonderful stay at this Hilton in San Antonio. The location was excellent, convenient and close to everything I needed, which made getting around the city easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and great quality to start the day. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Overall, it was a...

The age is showing in the rooms. The bathroom wood work needs an upgrade. The damp smell in the room needs to be fixed

The service was great !!! Will use trip for my traveling again. Thanks !!!

It was quiet good in location and room condition I suggest you to visit

Everything was great…outside of hotels control was river walk club blasting music until 1:58 am. Take that into account when choosing room

The staff was very courteous, the lobby was so nice and the room was very clean my love the the greeting message on the TV.

Brand new, beautifully decorated. However 'free breakfast' and compulsory 'amenity fee' utilization requires taxes and gratuities

We loved our stay. The room was super clean and the staff were lovely!

Great bar and restaurant. Small/med side king room but all refurbished and plush bedding and pillows. Very clean. Easy direct access to River Walk.

Everything was perfect we did have a little inconvenience with the fridge but it's okay. We had a wonderful stay very convenient to walking everywhere and very close to the river walk.

The hotel had a perfect location for the events we had planned. It was busy in the area because of the No Kings Protests but it had no impact on our stay. The hotel staff upgraded our room due to an error on their part and it was fabulous!! The bathroom was amazing and the beds were super comfy.

I paid for a river walk view for extra money and I only get a city view. Below are some pictures taking from my room.

I enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Everything about it was exceptional! From the service, cleanliness, and food was amazing. Will definitely return.

Probably the best downtown hotel I've ever been to. Mabey the best hotel I've ever been to overall. Lots of space in the hotel rooms, very good for a building from the 1850s, GREAT POOL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOING TO THE POOL FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE, and great shower quality and bathroom quality. Room service such as the food delivery and cleaners do a great job of keeping the place clean, and the pool...

We were treated very nicely and respectfully by all the staff. We had the best waiter in Four Brothers Restaurant and tasty Enjoyed the clean pool.

Business trip. The location is convenient! All as expected.

Overall very good Very old, heritage-like hotel bur well-maintained Front desk was always busy never explains the things in detail nor anwers the inquiry calls

Very good 👍 We all like the location and service very much and will come back to stay

We needed to book four rooms for one night at the very last night due to VRBO doing us wrong once again. Gunter House came through in fantastic glory. All our family members were thrilled by the room and service and stated they would stay there again in the future. We will too.

It was the perfect stay! Staff so helpful. Rooms were so clean.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location. The atmosphere was relaxing yet upscale, making it easy to unwind. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. ❤️

Really nice hotel with creative decor in a very cool historic part of San Antonio. Would stay here again.

Really cool place to stay. I love the vinyl record options and the record player in the rooms. The hotel is walking distance from The Alamo and the river walk. Plus some nice restaurants next door. We are definitely staying here next time we visit.

Smelllllsssss heavenly!! The place was immaculate! Gorgeous decor! Incredibly clean!

This hotel is by far the most beautiful hotel I’ve been. The staff was friendly, caring and so efficient!

Room was very pleasant. Extremely helpful front desk staff on arrival. Breakfast is a lottery, very few tables, only managed to eat at the hotel one morning out of four.

It was amazing and so beautiful. My stay was magical. I loved it. I would love to stay again.

Room was beautiful & spacious. Greator us as we had 2 electric scootersin the room! Very comfortable.

Breakfast was cold and had to be sent back , waitress was lovely, luckily. The phone in the room did not work.

Our room was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful.

The hotel staff were excellent, and the food was delicious!

I booked a room with a bathtub on *******, but upon arrival, I was told that only suites had bathtubs. They gave me a discount, but I had to pay an extra $300 per night for an upgrade. When providing service on a real estate portal, I believe the hotel, not the customer, should be the one providing the information accurately. However, the tub had a broken drain, and since I couldn't call someone every...

Loved this hotel. Front desk staff was friendly upon checkin and explained everything we needed to know. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a direct view of the hemisfair for the new years fireworks and it was wonderful. The bar and outdoor are was great. We loved the gardens. Definitely would stay here again!

The staff at the hotel were amazing, the room was clean and modern. Great view with big balcony. Food was good and a decent choice of wine. Spa services were amazing and the team accommodated my last-minute needs. Great job!

Bacon on bacon, egg and English Muffin sandwich wasn’t bacon. It was pork belly. In other words, mostly fat and one piece was over 1 inch thick making it impossible to bite into. Also, it came on a bagel, not a muffin.

We were initially charmed and deeply impressed by this boutique hotel. The design of the rooms is beautiful, and the facilities are well-configured. It is, therefore, with sincere disappointment that we must detail the severe failures that have defined the latter part of our stay. The dining area is far too small to accommodate holiday guests in any practical manner, but that pales in comparison to...

Excellent location in the city center

The location is excellent, and you can easily walk to anywhere. The room wasn't very spacious, but it was clean, cute, and had a great atmosphere. The courtyard and lobby were also very charming, and I would have loved to sit there all day if I had the time. However, while there was shampoo, there was no conditioner, so I recommend bringing your own.

Easy booking and close to many fun things to do.

The Menger is currently undergoing construction outside of it so be aware of the extra noise (bring sound machines). We stayed in the presidential suite. It had three balconies but no chairs to sit on in the balconies. They give you two free drink vouchers when you check in. The location is right next to the mall which is super convenient. Beware of the information desk at the mall is really people...

I had an unforgettable experience at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio. The hotel’s rich history and timeless charm made my stay truly special. My room was beautifully maintained, blending historic elegance with modern comforts. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the Alamo and within walking distance of the River Walk. I also loved the beautiful courtyard and the historic bar, a perfect spot...

I've stayed at the Menger twice during the last year. The history is thick here, whether you spend time in the lobby looking at the old pictures, the guest registry from the 1800s, or you head to the bar for the Teddy Roosevelt connection. We are blessed to have these places where history happened. I stayed four days for a conference being held at the Convention Center, which is a 7 to 10 minute...

Everything was great. The staff was amazing and very helpful.

I have to say the staff here are the nicest people, they welcome their guest with a warm welcome and they have good customer service. The room was really nice balcony looks down to the riverwalk nice to watch when the cruises are going. Even the housekeepers are very nice they smile and greet u! Good job to all the staffs!

Fantastic location, larger rooms, Friendly Staff! Balcony rooms offer terrific views of the Riverwalk. Onsite Bistro for breakfast and evening dinner/lounge. Or, best - easy access to the many restaurants along St. Mary's and the Riverwalk.

Room was clean, located perfectly just off the river walk. Balcony was cool to people watch from. Bistro was good for breakfast but let me wanting more. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I thought room was smaller than expected

Hotel is in a great location, easy to walk to many restaurants, the Alamo and the Riverwalk.

My husband and I booked for SanJapan this year, and we loved our stay! All staff were professional, kind and accommodating the entire weekend. I called a few days before to request a lower floor ( I have a huge fear of elevators), and they were able to quickly change our room to the lowest floor possible. The room was clean, cold and quiet which was lovely. We hope to stay again next year!

Not to the expectation of Thompson Hotel. Restaurant was closes, odors in arrival, bathrooms are incredibly slippery and sub par service.

Room was amazing, staff was great, and the property was overall immaculate! Definitely staying here again!

Valet signs outside are a little confusing. Room service took a long time and menu was limited. It was ok for a night.

Amazing hotel! First visit to San Antonio and the Thompson but will definitely be back! Room was immaculate, staff was exceptional, Isaiah and Seth were very nice and accommodating! Couldn’t have been a better 4 days!

The room was clean, quaint and stylish. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower. Loved the breakfast up on the 20th floor!

This hotel is in a great location. Staff is great and very accommodating. Shouts out to Christian!! (He seemed to always be working. He was very helpful when our flightS were canceled and then later delayed). P.s. check out the rooftop bar - The Watson.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is wonderful. The rooms are nice. The roof top bar..is amazing...the view of the city is beautiful. The staff is so accomodating. Christopher at the front desk was awesome. Seth served us breakfast was incredible.

I loved my stay!! From the time I walked in until the time I had to leave, this was my home away from home!!! Let's start with Dustin! He is the best! He had such a warm, welcoming, and wonderful personality, it was truly a pleasure to meet him. Michelle at the bar took special care of me! She made great conversation and excellent drinks. Then I met Michael, the general manager who was not only friendly...

Very fair prices, room was very clean, great view of the city. Staff was polite, quick and helpful. Very close to the Riverwalk and other attractions. I will definitely consider this place anytime I want to stay in the downtown area.

My stay at the AC Hotel was beyond accommodating. The staff assisted me with everything I needed — from providing toothpaste to helping me secure my valuables — and they did it all with kindness and understanding. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a relaxing environment after a long day. One of my favorite features is the easy access to the 1Watson rooftop bar. The patio overlooks...

Stayed at the AC Hotel in San Antonio... I usually stay at AC Hotels in Ginza, but okay, I guess it's not too bad considering this one has a self-service washer and dryer. All I can say is, the room layout is really strange. Got back to the hotel, and even managed to wash and dry all my clothes during dinner... I guess I'm not completely homeless yet...

I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of hotels. The service here is at the very top - truly amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Emma. It was close enough to all that we wanted to visit and will definitely return to the Emma on our next visit to San Antonio.

The hotel Emma is one of the finest hotels in the nation. It has a unique atmosphere of repurposing a brewery into a boutique hotel. What especially made the business meeting that I hosted memorable was the engaging staff from the initial check-in reception. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and engaging without being overbearing. It is one of the nicest meeting locations. I've been...

Always one of the best hotel experiences we have. Consistently top notch. Plus, the surrounding Pearl area continuest to grow and improve with more restaurants and entertainment.

Mercedes is the best waitress at Supper, and Supper is the best restaurant in all of San Antonio. I’ve been to Supper many times before but this is the best experience I’ve ever had. The attentiveness, detail to the food presentation, even making us a “special” cappuccino that tasted 10 times better than the regular cappuccino. Ask for Mercedes when you visit Supper, it will elevate your experience

Hotel Emma always ranks among the best hotels we stay at. The staff sincerely looks after the needs of the guest. Always a great experience.

They seem to promote heated pools but none were. And even hot tub was lukewarm at best. Property and rooms were pretty nice. Had a suite, and there was definitely value regarding the rate.

Spacious and impeccable room! Outstanding customer service in all places: Front Desk, Restaurant, Housekeeping Staff, you name it.

Staff communication was poorly handled. Booked executive suite with balcony, instead got a suite without it. I paid the higher rate for this balcony amenity. Had to bring this mixup with staff twice to be heard.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the room was really clean very comfortable for our short holiday stay. We would be coming back soon.

The room and staff were what one would expect of a Hilton. Our attempt at breakfast, however, fell far short of satisfactory. Coffee, oatmeal and eggs were essentially at room temperature, i.e., cold. Our young waitress attempted to correct the issue with cold coffee but that was not the case.

Facilities in room were good. Some staff seemed laissez-faire… unable or unmotivated to proactively take on problems.

The hotel was very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Checked in with no issues, this location does charge for parking in s daily basis. Customer service was good, had no issues.

First I have to said for the rate for a night stay is probably unbeatable. Some of the Lowest I seen. The location is Great for the Alamodome events, little over a half mile away. It's also close the downtown attractions. Now the only cons I have about this Hotel is if you go by listed pictures, you'll be deceived. You can tell Renovations happen at some point but, it'll still show it's age here and...

Staff was super friendly and great. Room was clean and comfy. My only issue was the highway outside was loud. I don't know if there really is anyway to help cancel the noise. I just turned up the tv. 😁 convenient to downtown, especially if you don't want to stay downtown and over paid.

Air conditioning wasn’t very effective but it really wasn’t that hot so it wasn’t bad. The shower had some small mold spots probably cause the vent to keep the moisture out wasn’t working well. But other than that everything was about normal.

I was located on the fifth floor. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable the pillows, however, were very flat and hard. The refrigerator was cold. The microwave function properly the water pressure was very good. The housekeeping staff were great. I use the in-house laundry facility. The machines worked well. The soap available was expensive.

Beautiful inside and the staff was amazing and very accommodating! The location was perfect! Great for tourists like myself. Walkability is a 10. I would absolutely go back again.

We stayed on the riverwalk side, it was a little loud at night. The staff was top notch, Marissa and Maranda everyone. Thank you

Loved the location, but our balcony room looking out over the Riverwalk wasn't ready when we tried to check in at 4:50pm. The excused was that we had a balcony room. So i guess the best & most expensive rooms are cleaned last? We were told it was being inspected by mgt. Then made to wait 20 more mins while they checked ppl in and out. I finally had to interupt then to get our rook key. So frustrating...

Amazing locate, right off the river walk. Peaceful stay. Great rooms, very spacious, comfy bed, amazing staff from valet to front desk to housekeeping. Definitely felt pampered. June was amazing masseuse at the spa. Great food at the hotel restaurant Ostra.

Breakfast was amazing. Service was excellent. Really clean and very close to everything on the river walk. We will be back soon.

Spotless clean room. The staff was Great ! Lots of amenities. The Location was Great too ! We would definitely stay here Again.
