Wedding Anniversary Trip This was our Anniversary trip. Room was nice but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. We were disappointed in that. The spa experience was 1st class and so were the amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay here, staff was super friendly and attentive at the pool. I did book a king bed room and complained when they put me in a queen bed room, they said they overbooked and had to move some guests around so I didn’t appreciate that they couldn’t fix it, but by the end of the stay I made a complaint and they took 105 bucks off my bill so at least they did that. Came for a business meeting. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The edge of the carpet in my room was lifted & I tripped on it several times. Best hotel on the Riverwalk! We always love staying here. It's conveniently located near all of the fun spots on the Riverwalk and downtown San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They even upgraded us to a riverview room because we always choose to stay there for Fiesta year after year.

It's an old hotel, renovated, but I think that was probably 15 years ago. The staff was great; very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection, including an omelet station. It is next to the river walk, but there isn't any "River activity" here. It's just following water. The restaurants, bars, stores are a few blocks away.

The staff were excellent. The room was beautiful. You will expect a Porter to help with your luggage in an hotel of this caliber and price. You also expect some little finishing touches in the room for example biscuits and some selections of tea. Not everybody takes coffee .

Furniture and paint look very old. One of the rooms I stayed in had a mild smell. I did not notice it after a while, but definitely did when I walk in.

Rich in history, the hotel itself it's very nice. My room on the fourth floor is furnished nicely. While the hotel is nice and the room has obviously been updated it could use some touch up. There are corners in the bathroom that have the metal reinforcement exposed and the wallpaper was poorly cut. But the real problem is the sound in the room. Wonderful location! Close to area attractions and restaurants on the beautiful river walk. We even walked to the Pearl area, took about 45 minutes, but amazing and worth It! Absolutely loved the rooftop pool! Staff very pleasant and helpful! Will stay here again!

This hotel is top notch. From the time we pulled into the valet parking to the rooms to the decor. I was very impressed with the friendly smiling staff. This place has handicap access, convenient restaurants, and restrooms on every floor. The rooftop pool has a spectacular views of the city. I will definitely recommend staying here whenever your going to San Antonio.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was walking distance to Riverwalk and the Alamo. The onsite restaurant was very good also. It was a nice option when we were too tired to walk to eat !

We came to the Plaza for a quick one night birthday getaway and were so pleased with our whole experience. It was an Oasis and felt like we were at a destination resort. It was the perfect place to go and get away from everything. Very relaxing- wonderful attentive staff- fun atmosphere- delicious food- beautiful facilities. I highly recommend!
