Good location and nice cleanliness. Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
Nice location that juts close to River walk, walkable to Alamo church
Nice place to stay on vacation…..staff are nice, the room is big , clean and comfy.
The room is clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the sound insulation is slightly poor but does not affect your rest; the location is good, the River walk is very convenient to the scenic spots, I will stay again if I have the opportunity👍
If you like a view I recommend the king corner, if your lucky you get the room facing downtown. We came for a night alone for our anniversary. We had a great stay-cation.
We came to dinner at Ruth Chris and the restaurant mixed out parking tickets up with another party, Mateo and Justin explained everything and assisted while waiting for the correct car. They have the best customer
Service and definitely deescalated the situation where we were not stressed at all. Definitely a great experience

It was wonderful, the room was great, service was exceptional (except one rude female out by the pool Saturday evening/end of day), the pool area was great, the outside movie for kids last night was a favorite, loved the bracelet making & the girls helping were very friendly & helpful to our kids, loved the anniversary gift from y’all (sweet surprise), front desk was very sweet & helpful, all the younger...
This was such a nice stay! Daisy at the front desk was so welcoming and kind!! We walked to our room after check in talking about how that was the most welcoming hotel check in we’ve ever experienced. To our delight and shock, we came back to our room later in the afternoon to a kind note and goodies wishing me a happy birthday! Never had such a personalized and kind gesture. Thank you Daisy!!
We went on spring break to have some fun family time. Loved the lazy river and the breakfast buffet was incredible
We loved the resort it was perfect but it was great to have so many things right there to enjoy and the bed was super comfortable. 18 oaks Restaurant was superb except the open table app wasn’t communicating with restaurant for 3 days so we couldn’t make reservation till then. We felt the room was cleaned late and sometimes not at all. The lazy river is sometimes a hectic place with too many young...
Resort was very nice and clean. All the staff seemed nice and helpful. My only complaint was the bath towels in the room. They are a bit rough. Others, we enjoyed the stay.
Enjoyable and relaxing. I travelled with 2 kids , husband and my parents-- they have everything to make any age happy. It is upscale so it expected to be very pricey.

Enjoyed the great stay in San Antonio! I will be back again in 2026 👍
Just for one night to meet with family. Took us a while to figure out the elevators because they weren't explained, but we eventually figured them out. Hotel was clean. Breakfast buffet was like no hotel buffet ever before-- very fresh, good QUALITY, delicious food. Fruit was beautiful and ripe. I'd love to know the brand of sausage. It was super tender and tasty.
Really outstanding service! It is definitely a must stay hotel. Right in the middle of the action.
Close to everything, easy to get around, safe environment, good food, love the elevators - all hotels should do that
It was close to the Convention Center
I didn't like - The homeless people asking for money
I can’t say anything negative about this hotel everything was amazing and the staff was super helpful! I’m definitely going to came back and stay again at this great hotel!!!

Awesome Vacation used our car only once to go to a military base. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Had a great time. Tony Trevino is very friendly and helpful. Thank you. Also the valet is great at getting these cars in and out. We enjoyed your stay. ❤
Wow! Can't wait to go back again! Booked this resort for a fantastic price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and am so grateful to have stayed at my favorite hotel for so much less than I would normally spend. Great hotel! Everything about this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The staff are friendly, the hotel is beautiful and in a great location, the rooms are very clean, quiet, well...
Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. The lunch/dinner restaurant at the river walk level has a lot of seafood options. Rooms are very nice; huge TV; spacious bathroom. The beds are slightly firm for myself, but that's the only downside I could find.
Love this beautiful hotel! We were fortunate enough to experience the concierge level where the staff was very cordial and attentive. Ms. Pinky, who was in charge upstairs really knows how to make you feel welcomed. The rooftop pool is nice but can get a bit crowded. I suggest they add shading by furnishing the out door area around the pool with strategically placed umbrellas as the Texas sun can be...
This is such a nice hotel which offers so many amenities. Its right off the river walk and beautiful. However, they give you extreme low pressure shower heads making it really hard to take a shower. The sink would make a loud banging noise and then drop in pressure each time you turned it on and the room was not clean. To look at its amazing, but if you want room comfort with the issues not sure its...
I stayed 5 days solo. It was wonderful and they took good care of me. Everyone was pleasant. They have very good vegetarian food too.I didn't rent a car and was able to walk everywhere. Perfect location at the Riverwalk. They have a light under your bed when you get up. I loved that.

La Cantera is an EXCELLENT resort with attention to details in providing OUTSTANDING customer service.
Wedding Anniversary Trip
This was our Anniversary trip. Room was nice but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. We were disappointed in that. The spa experience was 1st class and so were the amenities.
We really enjoyed our stay here, staff was super friendly and attentive at the pool. I did book a king bed room and complained when they put me in a queen bed room, they said they overbooked and had to move some guests around so I didn’t appreciate that they couldn’t fix it, but by the end of the stay I made a complaint and they took 105 bucks off my bill so at least they did that. Other than that...
What an amazing start to my daughter’s birthday weekend! The property and amenities were fantastic. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shuttle to Six Flags is such a nice perk too!
Er have stayed here many times and this was so disappointing. There were no activities even though they charge a resort fee. The sheets are like sandpaper. The service at the restaurant was awful. We spent the first 1.5 after checking in just trying to get a room because there was drilling and happening above us in the first room and the second was a total downgrade and finally the third was decent...
La Cantera is a stunning resort. It has been my staycation destination over the last several years. The kids pool is a huge hit with my son. Front desk staff, valet, dining, housekeeping, management have always been welcoming and accommodating. I love being able to text guest services and receive a quick response. This is the second time staying here. This place is a clinic for how hospitality should operate. Janie Mann went above and beyond for my wife's and my birthday. It was a great weekend stay and we felt we were on a land cruise ship. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Janie and staff for an awesome experience. We'll be back!
Our stay at this hotel was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
The only small suggestions I have are for the hotel’s dining options. For the price, the restaurant menus could use an update – the food was just okay, and the options were limited. The tables also felt a bit outdated and could benefit from a refresh.
Additionally, given...
We went in September, and it was lovely! Very quiet! It was such a fun place to stay with kids because of the lazy river, slides, beach, pools, s’mores! It is beautiful!

I highly recommend this resort. Such a fun and secured place. Felt like a second home. We did have some slight issues at first but Heaven at the front desk helped us out in such a professional manner, she was very sweet. Also the food and atmosphere is phenomenal
Came for a business meeting. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The edge of the carpet in my room was lifted & I tripped on it several times. I put in a request to have it taped down and it was taken care of immediately. The pools were super fun! Food was good. Lots of usb and other connections in the room. Very quiet.

Best hotel on the Riverwalk!
We always love staying here. It's conveniently located near all of the fun spots on the Riverwalk and downtown San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They even upgraded us to a riverview room because we always choose to stay there for Fiesta year after year.
The staffs are helpful
The venue place is spacious
The cleaners are nice
breakfast of the omelette (tailor-made) are so tempted
The location is very good, but there is a road under construction in front of the hotel, which is very noisy. Fortunately, I can change the room. They helped me change to a room near the river, which is much better. I can walk along the river at night.
Right off the river walk. Expect to hear noise at night from surrounding venues. Beautiful hotel.
Service was phenomenal, staff was professional and friendly.
Stayed three days and two nights over the weekend here, overall it’s a nice hotel! Very clean and friendly staff. The best part about the hotel is the location it is right on the heart of the river walk with amazing views and easy access! Two things that made me give it three stars are : the valet parking was a struggle very long 30 mins plus ! And the elevators were kind of a nightmare very very long...

I planned the weekend for my husband's birthday. We arrived at 3 pm and was shocked at the cost of parking. 29.00 seems high. We checked in which went smoothly we t up to the room. Very nice room with awesome view. Went to riverwalk and Alamo. Came back settled in and am very satisfied at this point with the EXCEPTION of 30 bucks for parking.

Awesome!! Awesome! Great staff. Super clean which is an absolute must for me. The Riverwalk is 3 minutes or less walking distance and the hop-on hop-off bus pick up is maybe a 2-minute walk. Loved my stay there. I will definitely be staying there again for sure!

It's an old hotel, renovated, but I think that was probably 15 years ago. The staff was great; very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection, including an omelet station. It is next to the river walk, but there isn't any "River activity" here. It's just following water. The restaurants, bars, stores are a few blocks away.
Location is OK. Staff is friendly but isn't knowledgeable about tips on the town.
Attended out office holiday party here. Venue was nice and food was pretty good. No issues except that the drinks were over priced. For a hotel of this price range, there is no free bottled water in the room. You need to buy it in the lobby. Hope it can be improved.
Front service is very polite, and room is clean.

Really great experience!! Staff was great. Riverwalk next door was convenient!! Definitely will recommend to family and friends. Room was clean. Breakfast and the kickback hour was amazing. Nice towels and bedding. Comfortable mattress. Friendly helpful staff. Great location near the River Walk and downtown. Two things reduce my rating; 1) they turned off the AC for repairs 6am-6pm on a hot summer day, and 2) the hotel ran out of regular coffee. I'm not joking...
The lobby and club rooms are very nice. Club room had good wines and hot breakfast. The location is also great, just 3 minutes walk from the Riverwalk.
The rooms are large but in need of an uplift. Furniture and paint look very old. One of the rooms I stayed in had a mild smell. I did not notice it after a while, but definitely did when I walk in.
Rich in history, the hotel itself it's very nice. My room on the fourth floor is furnished nicely. While the hotel is nice and the room has obviously been updated it could use some touch up. There are corners in the bathroom that have the metal reinforcement exposed and the wallpaper was poorly cut. But the real problem is the sound in the room. I am on the fourth floor and the sounds of the streets...

Was a very pleasant experience. Has a fine restaurant attached to the lobby. It was close to the convention center where PAX was being held. Rooms were clean and stocked from check-in to checkout. Overall a very fine experience.
Was nice, sadly they overbooked people and had to turn away a lot of people. My friends and I were worried that we would get turned away too but thankfully they had us all set. The great thing about this place is price and location. The rooms are a little dated. Tv's are small. Bathroom is small. Doors to the balcony were bolted shut. But the rooms do have a fridge and microwave which is very nice. And they are clean. For a nice hotel, minutes from downtown, this location has the best price available.
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights while visiting friends. The hotel was OK. There were plenty of issues with the building that made it look a bit run down. Pricy stay but very nice rooms, they had a nice pool and offered free drinks every day up to $25 not bad! For a stay of 4 days
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was walking distance to Riverwalk and the Alamo. The onsite restaurant was very good also. It was a nice option when we were too tired to walk to eat !

they are very nice and have a lot of activities for families. there is no laundry, free parking or free breakfast as was listed on *******.
Pros: Liked the proximity to SeaWorld and the shuttle they provide every hour. Staff was sweet. Clean and reasonably priced. Would've loved a spa and tennis space. Cons:Adjoining rooms were annoying, I could hear all the children yelling in the next room for all my stay, water didnt drain properly from the tub, and movies shown were a bit dated for smaller children (e.g Lizzie Mcguire)
This was my first time at this property and I loved it! Very nice and clean. Staff was very prompt. Great place for kids! Only reason why I am not giving 5 starts is because the pool wasn’t very kept. It was super warm and in Texas it’s very hot outside. The hot tub water flows into the main pool. However, will most definitely return!!!
The room was clean and fairly updated. Bed comfortable. Shower was a problem. Shower head was very high and had very little give to adjust it. Couldn’t stand away from spray because it was too short. The room is clean, sanitary and comfortable. The location is excellent. It is very lively at night. You can walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. on the riverside. After dinner, I took a cruise with my family, which was very convenient.
The location is very close to the riverwalk. You can get there by going downstairs. The decoration is very new. Because it is in downtown, the safety is still very good. Parking is available in the garage next to it. It costs 20 to 30 yuan a night.
It was newly built, so it was clean and the room was reasonably spacious.
I think it was the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my business trip in Europe.
This hotel focuses on its location, close to San Antonio's most famous attractions. The room area is quite large. The hotel decoration is simple style, I prefer luxury.
The riverside hotel is very lively, with many bars and restaurants, and the scenery is different during the day and night. I feel that walking along the river is safer than up there.

This is a good budget hotel. The room was comfortable enough. They offer soft and firm pillows, but neither were amazing.
