Good location and nice cleanliness. Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
Nice location that juts close to River walk, walkable to Alamo church
Nice place to stay on vacation…..staff are nice, the room is big , clean and comfy.
The room is clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the sound insulation is slightly poor but does not affect your rest; the location is good, the River walk is very convenient to the scenic spots, I will stay again if I have the opportunity👍
If you like a view I recommend the king corner, if your lucky you get the room facing downtown. We came for a night alone for our anniversary. We had a great stay-cation.
We came to dinner at Ruth Chris and the restaurant mixed out parking tickets up with another party, Mateo and Justin explained everything and assisted while waiting for the correct car. They have the best customer
Service and definitely deescalated the situation where we were not stressed at all. Definitely a great experience

It was wonderful, the room was great, service was exceptional (except one rude female out by the pool Saturday evening/end of day), the pool area was great, the outside movie for kids last night was a favorite, loved the bracelet making & the girls helping were very friendly & helpful to our kids, loved the anniversary gift from y’all (sweet surprise), front desk was very sweet & helpful, all the younger...
This was such a nice stay! Daisy at the front desk was so welcoming and kind!! We walked to our room after check in talking about how that was the most welcoming hotel check in we’ve ever experienced. To our delight and shock, we came back to our room later in the afternoon to a kind note and goodies wishing me a happy birthday! Never had such a personalized and kind gesture. Thank you Daisy!!
We went on spring break to have some fun family time. Loved the lazy river and the breakfast buffet was incredible
We loved the resort it was perfect but it was great to have so many things right there to enjoy and the bed was super comfortable. 18 oaks Restaurant was superb except the open table app wasn’t communicating with restaurant for 3 days so we couldn’t make reservation till then. We felt the room was cleaned late and sometimes not at all. The lazy river is sometimes a hectic place with too many young...
Resort was very nice and clean. All the staff seemed nice and helpful. My only complaint was the bath towels in the room. They are a bit rough. Others, we enjoyed the stay.
Enjoyable and relaxing. I travelled with 2 kids , husband and my parents-- they have everything to make any age happy. It is upscale so it expected to be very pricey.

I recently stayed five nights at this Marriott hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they catered to all of our needs with genuine hospitality. The property features a spacious lobby with convenient access to a well-appointed bar, and from the lobby you can easily reach both the River Center and the River Walk—making the location incredibly...
We recently stayed at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spacious and beautiful the lobby is, it felt open, elegant, and inviting, making for a very welcoming first impression.
The hotel’s location is outstanding. It’s right in downtown San Antonio, with very easy access to the River Walk and other major...
My husband and I recently stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter for 6 wonderful nights. From checkin to checkout the staff were all amazing! We were able to utilize the M club lounge and we cannot say enough about, not only the food provided, but the 2 young ladies, Bridget and Jocelynn, were absolutely the best! They always had a smile on their faces and genuinely cared about our time there making sure...
Great hotel in a top location in the City. Facilities are very good and excellent service. We were lucky and got upgraded to a suite and everything was great. We would love to come back again. The pool could have been cleaned while we were there as it hadn’t been done. The poolside area was great and clean. Parking is expensive at $47 a day but that’s fairly normal for SA and the lot across the street...
One of the nicest experiences I have ever enjoyed on my many business trips. Hotel was very clean, staff was exceptionally helpful and nice, and overall amenities were perfect. I would highly recommend. From the moment I walked in until the time of my departure I was impressed. Prices were below what I would have expected. Access to the Riverwalk was a fantastic addition. It started out well enough. The check in service was great. Super fast and easy. The valet as well. And the location of the hotel couldn't be better. It really turns sour for me when it came to the room service we never received. I had to go down to the restaurant and ask for our food 30 mins after it was supposed to arrive. When I did finally get it, I asked what happened and was essentially told...
Great location access to the river walk without leaving the hotel building. Very friendly stay make you feel extremely welcomed.
The hotel was perfectly located. Easy walking distance to the Alamo and located right on the Riverwalk.
The room was on the top floor, and the air conditioner was ringing all night and could not be adjusted. The location was good, the breakfast buffet was very rich, with snacks, fruits, and smoked salmon, and the breakfast service was very good.
Overall it was clean and the room was spacious, so it was great.
I arrived at the hotel early and just wanted to leave my luggage there, but I was grateful that I was allowed to check in.
The only problems were that the elevators never came, and even when they did come on the lower floors they were full and I couldn't get on, and there was a line of people waiting for the elevator from below.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were wonderful and the hotel is in the perfect location for access to the river walk and everything else downtown.
They originally messed up my reservation and tried to give me two double beds instead of a king. Straightened that out and then they argued that we didn’t have a free breakfast like ******* said. Argued and won. Comped $60. Valet was $15 more per day than mentioned on *******. Very noisy but it’s directly on the Riverwalk. Also housekeeping never cleaned our room the whole weekend.
Spent over $320/night and room needed updating. It needed updating, bathroom was semi-clean. No disposable cups, only glasses provided, which I won’t use because who really washes these glasses? Only reason I chose hotel was for location and my friends were staying here as well. Parking in hotel garage is $60/night yet attached to hotel is the convention center parking garage for $10/night. Plenty...
Early check in option was nice. Good location right on the River Walk with easy access to restaurants, bars and shopping.
The location of the hotel is great. Walkable for most anywhere and the access to Riverwalk is right out the back door.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The young lady at the front desk upgraded our room when we told her that we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. We didn't ask for the upgrade. That was impressive!

Wedding Anniversary Trip
This was our Anniversary trip. Room was nice but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. We were disappointed in that. The spa experience was 1st class and so were the amenities.
We really enjoyed our stay here, staff was super friendly and attentive at the pool. I did book a king bed room and complained when they put me in a queen bed room, they said they overbooked and had to move some guests around so I didn’t appreciate that they couldn’t fix it, but by the end of the stay I made a complaint and they took 105 bucks off my bill so at least they did that. Other than that...
What an amazing start to my daughter’s birthday weekend! The property and amenities were fantastic. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shuttle to Six Flags is such a nice perk too!
Er have stayed here many times and this was so disappointing. There were no activities even though they charge a resort fee. The sheets are like sandpaper. The service at the restaurant was awful. We spent the first 1.5 after checking in just trying to get a room because there was drilling and happening above us in the first room and the second was a total downgrade and finally the third was decent...
La Cantera is a stunning resort. It has been my staycation destination over the last several years. The kids pool is a huge hit with my son. This is the second time staying here. This place is a clinic for how hospitality should operate. Janie Mann went above and beyond for my wife's and my birthday. It was a great weekend stay and we felt we were on a land cruise ship. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Janie and staff for an awesome experience. We'll be back!
Our stay at this hotel was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
The only small suggestions I have are for the hotel’s dining options. For the price, the restaurant menus could use an update – the food was just okay, and the options were limited. The tables also felt a bit outdated and could benefit from a refresh.
Additionally, given...

I highly recommend this resort. Such a fun and secured place. Felt like a second home. We did have some slight issues at first but Heaven at the front desk helped us out in such a professional manner, she was very sweet. Also the food and atmosphere is phenomenal
Came for a business meeting. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The edge of the carpet in my room was lifted & I tripped on it several times. I put in a request to have it taped down and it was taken care of immediately. The pools were super fun! Food was good. Lots of usb and other connections in the room. Very quiet.

Best hotel on the Riverwalk!
We always love staying here. It's conveniently located near all of the fun spots on the Riverwalk and downtown San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They even upgraded us to a riverview room because we always choose to stay there for Fiesta year after year.
The staffs are helpful
The venue place is spacious
The cleaners are nice
breakfast of the omelette (tailor-made) are so tempted
The location is very good, but there is a road under construction in front of the hotel, which is very noisy. Fortunately, I can change the room. They helped me change to a room near the river, which is much better. I can walk along the river at night.
Right off the river walk. Expect to hear noise at night from surrounding venues. Beautiful hotel.
Service was phenomenal, staff was professional and friendly.
Stayed three days and two nights over the weekend here, overall it’s a nice hotel! Very clean and friendly staff. The best part about the hotel is the location it is right on the heart of the river walk with amazing views and easy access! It's an old hotel, renovated, but I think that was probably 15 years ago. The staff was great; very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection, including an omelet station. It is next to the river walk, but there isn't any "River activity" here. It's just following water. The restaurants, bars, stores are a few blocks away.
Location is OK. Staff is friendly but isn't knowledgeable about tips on the town.
Attended out office holiday party here. Venue was nice and food was pretty good. No issues except that the drinks were over priced. The staff were excellent. The room was beautiful.
You will expect a Porter to help with your luggage in an hotel of this caliber and price. You also expect some little finishing touches in the room for example biscuits and some selections of tea. Not everybody takes coffee .
I don't really recommend it unless you are just trying to travel on the skimp. I realize it's just a Holiday Inn, but even then I was kinda surprised at how disappointing it was. The rooms and decor are extremely dated. They do not keep the facilities very clean. The floors in the hall look like they haven't been vacuumed in a year. The TV in our room barely worked and the hair dryer gave out halfway...

For a hotel of this price range, there is no free bottled water in the room. You need to buy it in the lobby. Hope it can be improved.

Beds are comfy and the AC worked well! The people at the front desk were polite. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and they didn't have enough towels for our room. When we asked the housekeeper for two additional sets (it was 3 in a room) she said they didn't have anymore. So we ran to target and bought some. The conference room has been warm. The complimentary items haven't been replaced after we used...
So far, the service has been amazing. I've been here 3 days, 3 nights, and have one more night to go. Bed and towels are changed daily. Room is comfortable and smells nice. I did not receive a bottle of water one day, but I have had at least 2 in my room at all times since I've informed the front desk. Room service took about 45 minutes and the staff was very apologetic. The lobby area is very warm...
Nice big hotel, but they need to get their act together. Our tour group was told that a large group over the weekend had been given all the keys. So we had just one per room. How do you run out of key cards?? The bellman was not there when we arrived, so we had to get our luggage to the room ourselves. Nobody at the desk knew where our group was eating breakfast. The last night I don't think any of...
Everything was good. Enjoyed the stay. Has a Starbucks and other stuff I didn't get to check out. The gym is small, but I guess vacation spots don't emphasize on that anyways. The pool looked cool. Only flaw I didn't really like was the entrance on the road. Terribly difficult to see, and also have to drive another 5 min to get back to the spot again. It was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay...
I got two free water bottles in my room. There's an easy to use safe in the closet, opened by inputting our own code, which was interesting. Multiple power outlets on the table for charging our devices is a good thing. The mashed potatoes in the downstairs dining area were pretty good.
Hotel rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. I was disappointed with meal options but not so much that I wouldn't recommend the hotel. Overall a good place to stay. Staff are very friendly.

Cute hotel, right on the river/great location. Comfortable rooms and beds, but could use a bit of refreshing. Nice staff. There’s a self-parking lot across the street for $10 (hotel valet is $38), which is awesome!
We would have given it four stars had the cleaning staff not left a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower head from a previous guest. Gross.
Amazing staff room wasn't ready and we got a free drink at the bar. Good start. Then I was looking for an ice machine and a housekeeper not only told me when the ice machine was, but took the time to get the ice for me! Really impressed. Enjoyed the staff. I see people mention the please is dated, but honestly that is part of the appeal, it has a unique historic character to it. ?
Rooms clean and quaint but dated. ALL personnel were wonderful...polite, courteous, personal, beyond our expectations in accomodating our every need. I've stayed at the Menger twice during the last year. The history is thick here, whether you spend time in the lobby looking at the old pictures, the guest registry from the 1800s, or you head to the bar for the Teddy Roosevelt connection. We are blessed to have these places where history happened.

Right in the middle of downtown. Everything is just a walk away, including the Alamo and the mall! Our one-night stay at The St. Anthony in San Antonio was absolutely spectacular! It was a last-minute trip to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and as a longtime Marriott member, I have never felt more special.
From the moment we checked in, the experience was exceptional. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly...
This hotel is wonderful and we have stayed many times. This time, however, there was very good and not so good. The Suite is the ultimate in luxury. The Valet team and Restaurant team were great. The architecture, furnishings and ambience are beautiful.
On this stay, we checked in around 5PM. Our room was not ready. We were told it would be 5 minutes. We checked back in 5 minutes and the front...
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September. The hotel is beautiful. Very impressive. Make sure you walk around on the first and 2nd floors and explore all the little nooks and crannies. There's artwork throughout the hotel. The pool was great except there's absolutely no shade unless you rent a cabana. Given the sun and heat in SA, this was tough. The pool could do with...

Great place. Their for two months. Fantastic
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed breakfast and the staff was especially helpful during our meal. We'd definitely stay again! Very family friendly!
Was a very pleasant experience. Has a fine restaurant attached to the lobby. It was close to the convention center where PAX was being held. Rooms were clean and stocked from check-in to checkout. Overall a very fine experience.
Was nice, sadly they overbooked people and had to turn away a lot of people. My friends and I were worried that we would get turned away too but thankfully they had us all set. Oh they also gave someone else a key to our room, not cool. The dude charged drinks to the room! That was dangerous! We could have been robbed or even worse. Had to get that straightened out too. The pool was nice and so was...
The great thing about this place is price and location. The rooms are a little dated. Tv's are small. Bathroom is small. Doors to the balcony were bolted shut. But the rooms do have a fridge and microwave which is very nice. And they are clean. For a nice hotel, minutes from downtown, this location has the best price available.
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights while visiting friends. The hotel was OK. There were plenty of issues with the building that made it look a bit run down. In our room some of the wall trim was coming off. However, the room was nice and the thermostat worked great. Everything in the room was in working order and didn't have any real issues. The lounge area was pretty nice too and the staff were...
