Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk by Hyatt

San Antonio, 115 Lexington Ave (in the centre) 🧭

Not to the expectation of Thompson Hotel. Restaurant was closes, odors in arrival, bathrooms are incredibly slippery and sub par service.

Room was amazing, staff was great, and the property was overall immaculate! Definitely staying here again!

Valet signs outside are a little confusing. Room service took a long time and menu was limited. It was ok for a night.

Amazing hotel! First visit to San Antonio and the Thompson but will definitely be back! Room was immaculate, staff was exceptional, Isaiah and Seth were very nice and accommodating! Couldn’t have been a better 4 days!

The room was clean, quaint and stylish. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower. Loved the breakfast up on the 20th floor!

Hotel Emma at Pearl on the Riverwalk

San Antonio, 136 E Grayson (2 km from centre) 🧭

I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of hotels. The service here is at the very top - truly amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Emma. It was close enough to all that we wanted to visit and will definitely return to the Emma on our next visit to San Antonio.

The hotel Emma is one of the finest hotels in the nation. It has a unique atmosphere of repurposing a brewery into a boutique hotel. What especially made the business meeting that I hosted memorable was the engaging staff from the initial check-in reception. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and engaging without being overbearing. It is one of the nicest meeting locations. I've been...

Always one of the best hotel experiences we have. Consistently top notch. Plus, the surrounding Pearl area continuest to grow and improve with more restaurants and entertainment.

Mercedes is the best waitress at Supper, and Supper is the best restaurant in all of San Antonio. I’ve been to Supper many times before but this is the best experience I’ve ever had. The attentiveness, detail to the food presentation, even making us a “special” cappuccino that tasted 10 times better than the regular cappuccino. Ask for Mercedes when you visit Supper, it will elevate your experience

Hotel Emma always ranks among the best hotels we stay at. The staff sincerely looks after the needs of the guest. Always a great experience.

JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa

San Antonio, 23808 Resort Pkwy (28 km from centre) 🧭

The JW Marriott property is really elegant and beautifully decorated. We loved our ICE experience.

Weekend 2 night stay. The registration was wonderful. The restaurants and bars super nice. The resort itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated for Christmas !! However the rooms are ready for a Refresh remodel !!!The room smelled musty. Probably the fact that they still have carpets in the room. Bathrooms ready for updates as well. Asked for sheets to be changed because they smelled musty...

Very family friendly!! Our 3 year old and 1 year old had a blast at the kid pool and sand area!

Beautiful property. Gorgeous rooms. Incredible pools and things to do. Great restaurants.

This was our 1st time staying here at the JW Marriott. I wanted to bring my children to have some fun in the pool and waterslides. The front office staff was wonderful and ee enjoyed our room. However, on 09/06/2025 after spending time in the pool we all were hungry and the outside food station was closed so, they advised us to go to High Velocity as the food was good and the kids would enjoy it. We...

We visited after Labor Day. It was nice and quite but some restaurants and attractions were closed

Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk

San Antonio, 600 E Market St (in the centre) 🧭

Great hotel! At the end of the river walk but very close to all the restaurants and the Alamo.

Good location and nice cleanliness. Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Nice location that juts close to River walk, walkable to Alamo church

Nice place to stay on vacation…..staff are nice, the room is big , clean and comfy.

The room is clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the sound insulation is slightly poor but does not affect your rest; the location is good, the River walk is very convenient to the scenic spots, I will stay again if I have the opportunity👍

If you like a view I recommend the king corner, if your lucky you get the room facing downtown. We came for a night alone for our anniversary. We had a great stay-cation.

Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk

San Antonio, 123 Losoya St, 78205 San-Antonio, Tehas, SShA (in the centre) 🧭

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Great location on the Riverwalk.

It started out well enough. The check in service was great. Super fast and easy. The valet as well. And the location of the hotel couldn't be better. It really turns sour for me when it came to the room service we never received. I had to go down to the restaurant and ask for our food 30 mins after it was supposed to arrive. When I did finally get it, I asked what happened and was essentially told...

The room was on the top floor, and the air conditioner was ringing all night and could not be adjusted. The location was good, the breakfast buffet was very rich, with snacks, fruits, and smoked salmon, and the breakfast service was very good.

Overall it was clean and the room was spacious, so it was great. I arrived at the hotel early and just wanted to leave my luggage there, but I was grateful that I was allowed to check in. The only problems were that the elevators never came, and even when they did come on the lower floors they were full and I couldn't get on, and there was a line of people waiting for the elevator from below. The hotel...

Awesome Vacation used our car only once to go to a military base. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Had a great time. Tony Trevino is very friendly and helpful. Thank you. Also the valet is great at getting these cars in and out. We enjoyed your stay. ❤

Wow! Can't wait to go back again! Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the view was great too!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and updated rooms. Food options were varied and delicious.

The staff is great! Very friendly and accomodating. There are a lot of things for kids to do. The gym needs to be updated - worn out and not clean. It is located in a nice area of San Antonio. The rooms were pretty clean. The hallways and lobby areas were FREEZING.

Hotel grounds are beautiful and the property has so many fabulous dining options…even a Michelin star restaurant! Staff is very friendly and rooms are spacious!

The holiday decorations were done so well! Every staff member I encountered was helpful and professional.

Wonderful as always !!! Service is the best, friendly staff and gorgeous rooms!!! Oh and the cookies are delish! Thank you!!

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas

San Antonio, 9800 Hyatt Resort Dr (18 km from centre) 🧭

I was here for a work conference for a few days, and everything was great. I want to stress what triggered me to leave this review though. There was a young lady working overnight a couple of nights during my stay. Her name is Asia. She is the friendliest, most helpful, warm and welcoming person I’ve met in YEARS! This resort is extremely fortunate to have her.anything I needed or asked for she was...

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio on New Year’s Eve, and the customer service truly stood out. Jonathan, our valet, was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond, especially helping me with my 6- and 3-year-old, which made a huge difference for our family. His kindness, patience, and professionalism were outstanding. Thomas, who helped carry our luggage, was...

We always enjoy our stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort. I love that they are pet friendly, go above and beyond with a little welcome baggie for our dog, the grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trails and property grounds. Amazing hotel! Great service! Very relaxing and peaceful. Perfect for kids of all ages.

Amazing amenities, totally worth every dollar. My kids, husband, and I had a blast. They have everything you never need to leave the property! I also visited the spa before I left 10/10. The customer service is top tier.

The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio

San Antonio, 420 W Market St (in the centre) 🧭

Hotel is in a great location downtown! Check in was quick and easy. Staff friendly! Room was spacious. Wish our balcony had two chairs to sit. Would recommend for staying downtown and would stay again!

Great location in a quiet area of the Riverwalk yet walkable to many sites, restaurants, and other entertainment venues.

Nice location and walkable to most places on the river walk. However the rooms were dated and elevators made terrible noises. Room was clean. Staff was super nice and helpful. Not sure it’s worth the price.

We had asked for the pull out sofa to be made. They said it had sheets and everything. It did not. We kept calling with no success. Finally at midnight a security guard brought up the sheets so we could make it ourselves. Disappointed in the lack of service.

Clean room, the staff was all amazing!!!! The bell hop even entertained my kids while I checked out!

Beautiful view . The only discrepancy was that the refrigerator never got cold so all of my food which was really good food, spoiled. Also, the towels in the bathroom had hair all over them as if someone brushed their hair over them and they were never changed. Other than that the view was beautiful

We recently stayed at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spacious and beautiful the lobby is, it felt open, elegant, and inviting, making for a very welcoming first impression. Excellent location in downtown San Antonio with a shopping mall and restaurants in the same complex. Could see River Walk and the Alamo from our room. Brand new, beautifully decorated. However 'free breakfast' and compulsory 'amenity fee' utilization requires taxes and gratuities

We loved our stay. The room was super clean and the staff were lovely!

Great bar and restaurant. Small/med side king room but all refurbished and plush bedding and pillows. Very clean. Easy direct access to River Walk.

Everything was perfect we did have a little inconvenience with the fridge but it's okay. We had a wonderful stay very convenient to walking everywhere and very close to the river walk.

The hotel had a perfect location for the events we had planned. It was busy in the area because of the No Kings Protests but it had no impact on our stay. The hotel staff upgraded our room due to an error on their part and it was fabulous!! The bathroom was amazing and the beds were super comfy.

I paid for a river walk view for extra money and I only get a city view. Below are some pictures taking from my room.

We needed to book four rooms for one night at the very last night due to VRBO doing us wrong once again. Gunter House came through in fantastic glory. All our family members were thrilled by the room and service and stated they would stay there again in the future. We will too.

It was the perfect stay! Staff so helpful. Rooms were so clean.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location. The atmosphere was relaxing yet upscale, making it easy to unwind. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. ❤️

Really nice hotel with creative decor in a very cool historic part of San Antonio. Would stay here again.

Really cool place to stay. I love the vinyl record options and the record player in the rooms. The hotel is walking distance from The Alamo and the river walk. Plus some nice restaurants next door. We are definitely staying here next time we visit.

Hotel is centrally located and has big rooms. Indoor pool was in need of maintenance, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Overall a good option and nice place to stay.

A very nice experience at the Westin, had a great time.

Lovely hotel in a a great location, hotel staff was very courteous and friendly we even got a room upgrade. Lots of amenities on site, gym, pool in and out and sauna. The hotel is walking distance to store and lots of restaurants and there is a...

Have all the elevators fully functioning, replace light bulbs in lamps, don’t allow routine maintenance in rooms above guests before 10:00, better lighting for the parking lot- KEEP FRONT LOBBY STAFF they were great.

Staff was average, to be honest. Carpets not very clean in the room and hallways. The fan in the room, even on low, was so strong and noisy that I could not use the heating overnight. No fan in hte bathroom, which was odd to sayyhe least, especially at a Westin. Not many offerings at the restaurant. Elevetors looked run down. I stayed at MUCH better and pleasant Westin hotels in the past.

I love this hotel. It is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant is great, and the location is good too.

The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The pool was cloudy and the kids said there was too much chlorine in it. The property was nice and clean.

Room was not ready at 4pm for check in . I made it to the hotel after 6 pm and it took all night to get my room and they didn’t do anything but give me a couple of drinks at the bar this messed all my plans up for the night

everything was great except the pool looked alittle dirty and it did have a lot of clorox which was burning the kids eyes . Only thing we were disappointed in. other than that clean room! nice staff!

This was a very beautiful place to stay. The aroma when you walk in will have you feeling very relaxed, it smelled like a vacation. The only down side (WHICH WAS NOT THERE FAULT) would be it took me about 3 hours or more to be checked into my room. But they were very accommodating due to this.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here 25 years ago (when it was a different property). We recently returned for a quick trip and booked a room here. I booked a room with a bathtub on *******, but upon arrival, I was told that only suites had bathtubs. They gave me a discount, but I had to pay an extra $300 per night for an upgrade. Loved this hotel. Front desk staff was friendly upon checkin and explained everything we needed to know. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a direct view of the hemisfair for the new years fireworks and it was wonderful. The bar and outdoor are was great. We loved the gardens. Definitely would stay here again!

The staff at the hotel were amazing, the room was clean and modern. Great view with big balcony. Food was good and a decent choice of wine. Spa services were amazing and the team accommodated my last-minute needs. Great job!

Bacon on bacon, egg and English Muffin sandwich wasn’t bacon. It was pork belly. In other words, mostly fat and one piece was over 1 inch thick making it impossible to bite into. Also, it came on a bagel, not a muffin.

We were initially charmed and deeply impressed by this boutique hotel. The design of the rooms is beautiful, and the facilities are well-configured. It is, therefore, with sincere disappointment that we must detail the severe failures that have defined the latter part of our stay. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Antonio Downtown

San Antonio, 502 W Cesar E. Chavez Blvd (in the centre) 🧭

I chose this hotel because it’s a DoubleTree by Hilton, and I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, my stay was extremely disappointing. The main reason I booked this hotel was to enjoy the pool, but it was filthy and clearly not being maintained. It was so dirty that we couldn’t even enjoy it, which defeated the entire purpose of our stay. The room was also muggy, hot, and uncomfortable...

Overall the property was great. The pool looked a little one the dirty side ( water wasn't clear) however it was still nice. One of the stairway in parking garage had lots of trash and debris. The rooms were very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.

The room was to expensive plus they charge me $30 a day for parking and I have to pay for breakfast $20 per person…..

Was a great stay, very convenient location and perfectly clean. Would stay again.

Overall, this hotel was a great experience. The customer service was excellent from check-in to check-out—staff was friendly, attentive, and made everything easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, which made the stay really enjoyable. The only downside was the pool policy. While I completely understand and respect the rule of no glass around the pool for safety reasons, I was surprised...

Wasn't sure about the area; it looked quiet enough. If you look hard enough you can find scratches in the entrances and around the doorframes, which really brings down the look, but the hotel looks nice enough. Hotel must have been quite lovely when it first opened. The staff are very kind and professional. The rooms were clean, and I slept well. Would probably stay again.

Hotel Valencia Riverwalk

San Antonio, 150 E Houston St (in the centre) 🧭

Perfect location and room condition. However the bed size was a little bit small to share. I booked for 3 adults and they said 2 twin beds, but the twin bed was too small for 2 adults.

Hotel was great, room was spotless and well appointed. Restaurant was "ok" but not much of a selection for food choices. Bar was very good, drinks were spot on and bartender was attentive. I would recommend the hotel, but would suggest going somewhere else for dinner.

It was a wonderful experience and a great location to watch the boat parades

The staff at the front desk was friendly. As was the staff that does maintenance and housekeeping. The Bar on the hand, the bartender was SUPER rude and dismissive. The room was small, but clean. Comfortable shower. The AC was not working, maintenance went in to “fix it” on the first night and it was cooling a bit, but by the early morning it was once again hot. That evening when we returned at about...

Room was Great!!! We had one minor maintenance issue with the AC, but was handled very quickly. We left some clothes and that was handled very well!!

This hotel is in poor repair. Our room was less than clean. No one has been vacuuming under the curtains because a pill box was found in my moms room and debris in ours. The mirror and light sconces in our bathroom were extremely crooked and there was toilet paper fragments on the wall. Other places in the halls and interior need new coats of paint and hotel ran out of hot water by 11pm.

Room was not ready. We had to wait for a while to get our room. The staff was trying to accommodate us. We just needed a room to sleep.

The room was very comfortable. It was cleaned everyday. The staff was great and checked on how we were doing. It was very convenient to the alamo and the river walk.. i am glad they kept my care in a gated lot for safety purposes

The room was clean. The air conditioning was not cooling well, so resting was uncomfortable. I was sad we had to leave the same night.

This hotel is in a great location. Staff is great and very accommodating. Shouts out to Christian!! (He seemed to always be working. He was very helpful when our flightS were canceled and then later delayed). P.s. check out the rooftop bar - The Watson.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is wonderful. The rooms are nice. The roof top bar..is amazing...the view of the city is beautiful. The staff is so accomodating. Christopher at the front desk was awesome. Seth served us breakfast was incredible.

I loved my stay!! From the time I walked in until the time I had to leave, this was my home away from home!!! Let's start with Dustin! He is the best! He had such a warm, welcoming, and wonderful personality, it was truly a pleasure to meet him. Michelle at the bar took special care of me! She made great conversation and excellent drinks. My stay at the AC Hotel was beyond accommodating. The staff assisted me with everything I needed — from providing toothpaste to helping me secure my valuables — and they did it all with kindness and understanding. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a relaxing environment after a long day. One of my favorite features is the easy access to the 1Watson rooftop bar. The patio overlooks...

Stayed at the AC Hotel in San Antonio... I usually stay at AC Hotels in Ginza, but okay, I guess it's not too bad considering this one has a self-service washer and dryer. All I can say is, the room layout is really strange. Got back to the hotel, and even managed to wash and dry all my clothes during dinner... I guess I'm not completely homeless yet...

Hilton San Antonio Hill Country

San Antonio, 9800 Westover Hills Blvd (18 km from centre) 🧭

They seem to promote heated pools but none were. And even hot tub was lukewarm at best. Property and rooms were pretty nice. Had a suite, and there was definitely value regarding the rate.

Spacious and impeccable room! Outstanding customer service in all places: Front Desk, Restaurant, Housekeeping Staff, you name it.

Staff communication was poorly handled. Booked executive suite with balcony, instead got a suite without it. I paid the higher rate for this balcony amenity. Had to bring this mixup with staff twice to be heard.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the room was really clean very comfortable for our short holiday stay. We would be coming back soon.

The room and staff were what one would expect of a Hilton. Our attempt at breakfast, however, fell far short of satisfactory. Coffee, oatmeal and eggs were essentially at room temperature, i.e., cold. Our young waitress attempted to correct the issue with cold coffee but that was not the case.

Facilities in room were good. Some staff seemed laissez-faire… unable or unmotivated to proactively take on problems.
