Not a bad hotel but fairly barebones. Desk staff are generally very pleasant and efficient. Multiple elevators that take some learning- one way locked doors. Exterior access doors. Continental breakfast has recently become prepackaged and generally not free.

I stayed here for three nights with my daughter. She lives nearby. I have stayed here several times before. A parking fee is now charged but that is common in this area. The hot breakfast is no longer available but a cold one is available for a charge. There is a McDonalds and a Starbucks across the street for breakfast. This location was about half a mile from the lightrail and a shopping mall. It is close to several medical facilities. Overall, it was a good stay.

Missing lightbulb on the table lamp , broken sink tap , no tv guide on the remote . They charged an extra $10 US dollar to park in their empty parking lot. Meh . Btw a murder occurred in their parking lot Oct 15 2025. Good coffee in the morning. There are better places to stay…..

Just recently celebrated my anniversary at this hotel paid housekeeping to arrange for my anniversary and they did an amazing job. Rooms was clean. It was a quiet room top floor. Everything was great

Rooms were okay but bathroom / sink / microwave area is crowded. Breakfast was a $5 grab-and-go bag with nothing good except an orange and very small yogurt container, shower curtain was falling down, toilet looked like it was going to overflow, elevator was barely serviceable. Clearly an old motel that was remodeled into a modern "hotel", all the rooms are located along the ouside.

Room was okay, clean had trouble opening and closing door.
Ice machine broken
Location was great for skytrain only a few blocks away to walk. Its a ruff looking neighbourhood, lots of garage and street individuals around. Had no problems though. Hotel had security patrolling, not very friendly. Made me feel like I was the enemy not the guest.

We booked for two nights and only stayed one night. Which wasn’t the best nights sleep as there was a lot of noise and commotion between the hours of 11:30pm to about 1:30pm with our surrounding neighbors. Walls are thin so you could hear everything. Yelling, arguing, slamming things, stomping etc. At late hours of the night. Someone even knocked on our door twice at midnight which is unsettling while traveling with two children.
Our neighbor did have the cops come to his room which did cause more commotion and noise.

While the price was affordable for two nights…If traveling with kids I definitely wouldn’t stay. We just felt it wasn’t the best or safest environment traveling as a family. We unfortunately did book elsewhere for the second night.

The rooms were….. fair.

Luckily the staff was very friendly, understanding and accommodating to us canceling our second night.

The air conditioner is a bit loud, but otherwise it's worth the price, equivalent to the Jinjiang Star in China! If you have to compare it with a star hotel, you will be disappointed.
