This hotel was renovated from the mansion of a wealthy man in the 19th century. I was impressed to hear that the receptionist was studying Japanese. This is an older hotel. Our room was a decent size – a little dated, but OK, and acceptably clean. There was no place for toiletries in the bathroom; there was just a single towel bar (need more) and the shower head was designed for people over 7 feet tall. I also left something in a Yandex Go taxi. The host kindly helped me speak to the Yandex driver (you can call via the app, but the driver only speaks the local language), and I was able to retrieve my lost item.
