The location is easy to find. The grounds are beautiful, with a garden. The owner is friendly. The rooms are okay. It's close to traditional food.

The father and son were friendly and hospitable. Due to special circumstances, they arranged for us to stay elsewhere. They were very friendly to Chinese people and drove us to nearby restaurants.

Stayed in the dorm room. Good value for the money. Bit of a walk to the main sights, but still walkable. Has a fountain for drinking water, very handy so you don't need to constantly buy new bottles.

The environment is very good, the price-performance ratio is very high, the boss is very enthusiastic towards Chinese people, and if you have difficulty booking tickets during your trip, the boss is willing to help!

This B&B is amazing, the garden is beautiful, the landlord has several kinds of fruit trees, the breakfast is exquisite and delicious. The stay is also comfortable, I highly recommend it to friends and relatives, it is the first choice when coming to Samarkand.

Hostel has a good location right in the center of the city close to the park. Reception was nice at all times. My room was right next to the reception and to the door of the hostel so there was a lot of noise from the street and when the door of my room was open everyone passing by the street could see me so try not to get that room if you can.

The hostel has a great location and is very affordable. However, there are bars nearby, and it stays extremely noisy until 3 AM.😅

The location is excellent, but the showers and toilets should be checked more frequently! You pay for breakfast in advance, but you can't get it even though you have to leave at 7:30 because breakfast starts at 8 elsewhere. They also didn't refund the breakfast money. But was beautiful too.

Overall, the room was clean and the location was great, surrounded by restaurants and public parks. The only downside was that there were not enough shower rooms, so you might need to wait during busy times if you are in a hurry.

I was exhausted before my late-night flight home, so I stayed at this hostel for a quick rest. Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and it’s difficult to get into your room before then. But they will keep your luggage for you. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hostel, so you won’t have any trouble finding a place to eat. The location is superb!! If you use to walk, you can access several tourist attractions on foot. So far, they’re staffs are super kind and helpful.

Great location, good wifi and nice and clean room. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. It’s walking distance to all the sites in the old town and close enough to the main West gate that getting tickets and Yandex (uber) is super easy too.

Located inside the old city this hotel was very nice except for one issue in our room - the water pressure was so low it was almost impossible to have a proper shower. Breakfast was ok.

Great location, clean rooms, and they provide shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrushes. The mattress is soft and comfortable. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The manager at the front desk is available 24/7. Breakfasts are delicious!

The hotel is located inside the ancient city, near the West Gate. Taxis can drive directly to the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. And because it's in the central part of the ancient city, it's easy to walk around for food and drinks. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing in the rooms could be a bit better; everything else was great.

The rooms are spacious, there's Wi-Fi, and the hot water never runs out. It's located in the old town, and although there was one power outage during my two-day stay, it was quickly restored. It's also in the Ichan Kala district, the heart of Khiva's tourist area, so you can easily go to see the nighttime illuminations from there.

The owner was very attentive and thoughtful, which was great. The location was also convenient, perfect for walks.

We chose this place as soon as we arrived. After we left, I realized I'd forgotten something – a bracelet I'd worn for many years. I contacted the owner, and they kindly kept it for me. I went back to pick it up three days later, and the owner was very friendly. It was great.

Excellent hostel 🤍 I stayed for half a day in a 4-bed female dorm with two bunk beds. There's a spot to grab some tea and coffee ☕ Everything is clean and cozy, and it's close to the airport. Highly recommend!

Cheap price, comfortable, and good service

Although it is a shared bathroom, it is really clean and tidy. The room is very quiet and hygienic. The Internet TV and WiFi are easy to use. The boss and waiters are friendly and polite, and they are super kind to Chinese people! The price is affordable, highly recommended👍👍👍

Everything is fine, except for the hot water, it's barely warm there. Also, a cockroach named Valera appeared. And bad soundproofing. The staff is kind and helpful.

Great experience, homely place, very friendly host. Breakfast was very traditional but we enjoyed it, something different not what we would usually go for but it was very nice. The only difficulty was finding the place, our taxi driver struggled, we also struggled on day 1 but Muammar was always helpful and asked us to call him whenever we need to. Great place to meet people, clean and well-located. The best thing about this hostel is the staff, they are very helpful and friendly! The young guy woke up at 4am to call a Yandex for me and even escorted me to the car to make sure everything is fine, incredible service!

The night i spent here was awesome

A great hostel in a decent neighborhood. The rooms are equipped with lockers, bathrooms, showers, a kitchen, and a veranda perfect for hanging out and chatting with other guests. I'd definitely come back.

I stayed at Safarov for 2 nights before flying back home and honestly it was perfect. Super clean, super warm and helpful staff. Away from the city bustle but close enough to hop into a taxi or bus and be at the center in 10 minutes. The area is actually quite unique with a brilliant chinese restaurant right downstairs and a church around the corner.

Highly recommended! This hostel is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and equipped with great facilities. It’s in a very convenient location—just a 500-meter walk from the bus station. The staff are incredibly helpful, and I also met some great people during my stay. A fantastic place overall!

Safarov's Family Hostel is the only luxury hostel I have lived in. It has enormous reception, spacious rooms ans bathrooms. Sheets and towels are changed everyday. I havent seen anything like this anywhere. Ibrohim and Mukaddas are two kindest souls I have met. They helped me with everything - getting a local SIM because YandexGo doesnt work otherwise, recommended the best places to eat. Got me breakfast...

Stayed for a couple of days in July 2025 or so. I think this is one of the best hostels I stayed in a while, and not exclusively in Uzbekistan. Its owner does a good job drawing from his own travel experiences. Every area/room is so clean, one can forget we're speaking about hostel here. As far as hostels go, this place is definitely one of the best I've stayed in. Big rooms and clean common areas. Staff are always on duty around the clock and the front desk staff speak good English. The hotel is so good. Just about 500m from it is a bus stop. From there, the 62 number bus went to almost every landmark that was located in the centre. Very good apartment on a good budget.

Even though I arrived early in the morning, they were able to let me into my room, which was very helpful. The host was very kind! The location was perfect, less than a 5-minute walk from the Kalan Minaret. I stayed there in the middle of winter, but it was very warm thanks to the central heating. My only concern was that the water pressure in the shower was a little weak.

My friend and I recently spent two wonderful nights at the jules verna and it was a great base for our exploration of this fascinating city. While it was a bit of a splurge, the quality of our stay made it a worthwhile experience.

Nice hostel. The rooms are clean and the prices are cheap, considering that breakfast is included. Unfortunately there is no cosy space to meet other people or hang around and the rooms are very functional (no curtains around the beds for a little bit of privacy, no lockers). Apart from that, a good option to stay in Tashkent and the area around the hostel is nice.

According to the rules, breakfast is at 8:00, but I'm still waiting for 8:23. The place is comfortable and worth the money. Although a bit far from the main road, it is quiet and away from traffic noise.

Hotel S & D Hostel is clean and feels very new. The receptionist kindly showed us the room first, and when we changed our mind, he happily helped us switch to another one. When I was leaving, he even helped carry my luggage down the stairs, which I really appreciated.
