An amazing experience, the boutique hotel is very ideally located to central most tourist attraction. The rooms are clean, comfortable with all necessary amenities, gives you a homely experience. Mr Mansoor and his son Malik are very hospitable, helpful and caring. The breakfast is also very filling and nice. Overall an excellent experience, much recommended for all.

Absolutely dishonest staff/owner, we booked a pricy shared taxi to Samarkand and were told it would be a nice car with air conditioning. We paid almost $10 each to make sure it was the case due to one of us having health problems (with sinuses) We were asked to pay half in advance. The morning we were supposed to go we were asked to pay for an additional taxi that would take at to the taxi rank north of the city. We disagreed so they took as there and put as in a first taxi available which was VERY old cab even for Uzbek standards, of course no A/C. We had to argue with the driver not to drop as at the bus station in Samarkand and take as to the hotel even though previously it was agreed with the hotel staff/owner. Stay away from this place!

A mixture of feelings; first of all it was possible to check in early in the morning which helped us a lot. Secondly the location is great, 100m to city centre. The price is also reasonable and good value. Further the owner got up at 4 am for us to call a taxi.
Nevertheless there were some negatives as well. The wifi signal is super bad, we had basically no wifi in our room. Further there was no soap, toilette paper and no towels. Maybe because of the early check-in?
