We had a pleasant stay at Emerald Hotel; nothing particularly memorable but it was okay. We stayed in the triple room which was near the reception. Our room had no view to speak of from the window but (unlikely many hotel rooms) had excellent lighting. It was clean, our triple a good size, and the bed comfortable. Location is okay, once you find it the first time. The Emerald is not in the exact centre but is an easy walk of a few minutes from the main square and many attractions. I would not call this hotel luxurious but it is very adéquate. Breakfast was good with lots of choices including local specialties.

This well- located hotel is clean, bright and pretty. The staff is very kind (one member walked my husband to the pharmacy for medication, fixed him a thermos of tea and brought him sliced lemon). Breakfast is bountiful with absolutely delicious apricot preserves among is offerings. Our shower was the best of the four hotels we used in Uzbekistan. Comfortable beds. Looks like it opened about a week ago in terms of how clean and fresh but it’s been at least a year. Quick and inexpensive place to get your laundry done too.

A cozy hotel in the very heart of Bukhara's historic center. I was very pleased with the street leading to the hotel; I promise you won't forget it. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff is attentive and helpful, offering information about the city and good dining options. Breakfasts are simple for the discerning traveler, but filling. If I were to ask if I'd return, I would definitely say yes.

A luxurious hotel in Bukhara. Unfortunately, our vacation was planned so that we only stayed two nights. We really didn't want to leave! The hotel was perfect, with a huge room and high-quality, well-designed furniture. A large bathroom, a king-size bed, and everything was stylish, tasteful, and full of character. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel's location on narrow streets (you can order a taxi from the fire station and walk 200 meters). The main attractions are a 15-minute walk away. It's not exactly central, but the city is small, so it's not a problem. The breakfast was okay, not quite the typical buffet—it had a local flavor, but overall, we've been to several hotels in Uzbekistan, and they're all pretty much the same. So, we'd definitely book this hotel again, and we'll dream of returning.

The hotel is a little hard to find, but once you learn the route from the main street in front of Lapi Hauz, it's easy to access. Located in the maze-like Old City of Bukhara, the hotel's courtyard was beautifully organized and beautifully designed. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was also heartfelt and the hospitality was excellent, making for a very satisfying stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed staying at the Emerald very much. Its in a quiet spot, close to the sights, but not too close - just right. Our room was spotless, and large, with good A/C. The reception we got was just what we needed after a long train journey from Khyva (they had arranged a pickup from the station which is a long way out of town). And that hospitality continued throughout our stay. They helped with YandexGo taxis, where to find a bank, and even invited us to lunch with them (we couldn't because we had other arrangements). Breakfast was first class, more than enough, and freshly cooked. I'd stay there again!

Booked the place through booking.com. As per the commitment on booking.com the hotel has advertised to give an early check in and a one way airport transfer. We reached around 12:30 and still the room wasn't ready and the man at the reception was super rude , denied a check in and asked us to wait for 30-40 mins . The hotel is in a dingy place away from the main street where the cab or car would not even go. We had to walk about 10 mins with all the luggage to the hotel and once we reached . The receptionist saw us and didn't even offer to help with the luggage. Once we reached the reception he was acting pricey as if he is doing is a favour by letting us stay . Pathetic i would say. I cancelled my booking and went to another hotel. They need to learn hospitality in a big way .

It is a very new, spacious, authentic and clean hotel. The staff was also very friendly, caring and helpful. Although it is located in a side street, it is within walking distance of all historical places in the city.
