Paradise Plaza Luxury Hotel in Bukhara

Our bed and the room in this hotel were both absolutely hummungous! Possibly too big to be actually functional but there was a good bathroom and long windows overlooking a sunny back courtyard area. Also a nice downstairs restaurant where we had a lunch and breakfast. Not in the centre of Bukhara but an easy walk in.

The Paradise Plaza was pretty good for Uzbekistan. It’s an impressive front entrance and a nice welcoming lobby. We were given a room on the fourth floor, 408, quite secluded from the others. The room was a decent size with an enormous bed, which was really two large singles side by side with individual bedding. The odd thing was that the electronic charging points were behind the bed, between the pillows, and there was room only for one bedside table. If this room was laid out for two singles with a central bedside table it would be fine. On the other side of the room was a service counter, or desk, with coffee stuff and more charging points. The bathroom was spotless and let down only by poor shower pressure and a bulging basin which meant you had to squeeze between that and the lavatory. We had an early problem with our door. We were locked out when we returned from dinner. A young receptionist came up and got us in the room which we left ajar when we went down for breakfast the next morning. The manager fixed the door by fitting the lock with a new battery. Who knew? Downstairs there is the spacious and assertively decorated restaurant which did a very good breakfast, including omelettes and fried eggs cooked to order. There was a large video screen constantly showing drone travelogues from YouTube, always exotic beach places which is what you crave in a landlocked country like Uzbekistan. Why does TA call this a hostel? It's a hotel.

Glitzy hotel within walking distance of the Labi Hovuz reservoir with its madrassas, the three domed markets, and the great mosque and minaret. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

This hotel is located a few steps away from many attractions in old town Bukhara. We enjoyed our stay here and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was well-appointed but the was a bit too hard for our liking.

I arrive late night around 1am and reception was waiting for me. I quickly checked in and went to the room.
The room was spacious and beautiful, after a long day it’s been a pleasure to find myself here )
The shower pressure wasn’t good enough, but it’s predictable to Uzbekistan, there are few places where the pressure was excellent to me.
The mattress is excellent for my back and I enjoyed the sleep. The room was facing the street where cars pass, but it didn’t bother me actually.
I was impressed by the breakfast, the variety and breakfast options are getting better and better in Uzbekistan.
This is the 1st place where I saw a very good eggs station (the 1st one I saw in the summer this year but it was rather poor organised).
They should add more vegetables as it seemed to me there wasn’t enough and perhaps they should reduce the flour offers, there are so many of them and you hardly stop yourself ))
Perhaps, pies, corn and beans could be an option.
Overall, it’s a great hotel, I am really happy I stayed here and I would definitely recommend it to other if you come to Bukhara.

This hotel has all modern comforts one could want. Right in the centre of Bukhara we were in the heart of this enchanting small town. Very comfortable room, comfy bed, good breakfast, clean and excellent service. Would stay here again on my next visit.

Beautiful hotel. Very high speck decor. Really good cafe in hotel. Breakfast was very well laid out and very tasty. A good variety available everyday. Welcome drinks and snacks given on arrival. Our room had a huge bed. Fridge and tea and coffees making facilities. Big wardrobes. Only downside was the bathroom had a bad smell on the evening. Very close to tourist spots and shopping.

This hotel is located on the same street but just down one end from a lot of the restaurants etc, about 10 minutes walk. Breakfast was great, a terrific range of food. Room was comfortable and it was nice to be welcomed with a drink on arrival. We were in room one which both faced the street and was very close to the reception desk so it was a touch noisy. About 3am on the first night, the room suddenly lit up with a bright light, it was the air conditioning panel which went completely bright and then turned off. It appeared to have blown out. We reported this and the following day, some time was spent trying to fix it and it was eventually done. Good service. All in all, a mostly good stay.

Everything is really excellent! I have never seen such a good, wide and moderately soft bed with excellent fluffy pillows. 👍🏻 The size of room is a big enough and the cozy at the same time. There are all necessary things in the nice bathroom and in the good and big closet. The buffet for breakfast has a very huge variety of food. You can find any kind of food for any taste. So I can honestly offer everyone to stay there.
