Above all our stays in Uzbekistan. Big and comfortable room. Very good location. Great breakfast with many options and the best, the staff was very nice, communicative and helpful.

We had a lovely visit to Samarkand and Hotel Silver Rows. It’s a small family run hotel a stone’s throw from Registan Square. The location could not be better! Our rooms were huge (and clean) with plenty of storage and places to put things. There was a small refrigerator in the room, which was helpful for cold water, fruit, etc. the AC unit worked well and the WiFi was fine, not super fast but okay. Bathroom was small but fine. Good hot water. Best not to flush toilet paper; put in the bin. And also, the breakfast was terrific! From the hotel is was an easy walk to Registan Square, Tashkent Street, the Bibi Khanym complex and Siyob Bazaar. You can also walk around the old Jewish Quarter, to the mausoleum of the first president and other sites are not too far if you like to walk.

Stayed for 2 nights - room 201, well worth the extra for the balcony - great view across to the Registan. Spotlessly clean & comfortable with high quality furniture, good bed, bedding & ample hot water in shower. Family run & it shows in the level of hospitality - breakfast superb (served at table). However main plus point is the location - am not sure there is a nearer hotel/guesthouse to the Registan - literally 2 mins so ideal for visiting at least twice in a day (well worth returning after supper to see it lit up). A problem with our taxi to the station was solved by the hotel owner who insisted on driving us himself rather than call another taxi - definitely service above & beyond what we expected. Highly recommended.

After a few initial problems, one, which was out of Otabek (the owners) control were resolved....we ended up having an excellent stay for our 5 nights....we appreciated the room upgrade under the circumstances. The hotel is in a fantastic location just behind the iconic Registan and handy to a smorgasbord of restaurants and so many fantastic sites. We took a Yandex (Uzbek version of Uber) to the Shakhi Zinda Necropolis Complex, and were able to walk back via Siab Bazaar and the pedestrian street, stopping @ more incredible sites along the way. Also just a 10/15min walk to the Gur-i-Amur Complex and the hidden gem Aksaray Mausoleum, not to be missed. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure good with plenty of hot water, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the water leaks out all over the floor....not a major problem, which is planned to be fixed during the off season. It was good to have seating for two in our room unlike so many hotels that only provide 1 chair for 2 people!! The breakfast was cooked to order and excellent with the addition of many other choices, a great way to start the day, just remember your specific order has to be put in the day before. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful but communication was difficult when Otabek wasn't present.....google translate had a heavy workout! Wifi was very good, but if it stops working, just mention the problem to staff and they will check the router on the second floor, and it can be easily be fixed. Our initial king room didn't appear to be the advertised 30m2, more like 25m2 or less....so if you travel with a lot of luggage perhaps the suite, if available, would be more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again in amazing Samarkand the pearl of Uzbekistan :)

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and wished I had stayed longer! The hotel is in the perfect location, a couple of minutes walk from Registan Square, and the night time views from the hotel are simple breathtaking! The hotel has a shop next to it which helps when you want drinks, snacks etc as it’s open early til late. The staff are superb and so helpful, showing me shortcuts to sights when google maps was showing me longer routes. I was given coffee, home made cookies and snacks on my first day at the hotel whilst they prepared my room, as I was early, and I was able to check in early too! The staff were friendly, always happy to help and offer anything else you need during your stay there. The room was massive and clean, bathroom I had was fancy, and I had a great view of the Registan Square buildings! They provide free toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gels, shaving kits and plenty more! Tea, coffee, and bottles of mineral water are provided everyday. Towels are brand new and smell amazing! The breakfast was fantastic, with a good range of options offered and the food is plentiful! You can choose your main dish and have more if you want. I ate so much each morning that I didn’t feel hungry til late night! I’ve put up a review on TripAdvisor with photos so you can all see how wonderful this hotel is! Will definitely be returning with friends and would stay here again! Thank you to the staff and the hotel, loved every moment there!

The location is unbeatable - just behind the Registan complex, but on a quieter street. The staff in the hotel are excellent and always go extra mile for meet the needs and expectation of the guests. One of us had a birthday on the day of check-out and they prepared a surprise breakfast with a cake, candles, a gift and happy birthday song and all staff came down to make wishes. They did this without anyone requesting - what an attention to the details. The breakfast has a big choice and provide anything anyone would like - hot dishes upon order evening before. The rooms are of huge size and have everything anyone would need including bottled water. The Wi-Fi was very stable and of good speed. The beds are a little on the harder side if that could be an issue for someone that was not a problem for us.
