Okay ish hotel. No lift. Rooms are cozy. Bathroom doesn't have a hand shower in the potty area. Breakfast was good.

I was very disappointed with my stay. I booked a room with a double bed, but upon arrival, I was given a room with two twin beds. After much discussion and debate at reception, they promised to combine the beds, but then moved me to another room—which ended up taking over half an hour.

The rooms were disgusting: dirty, hair in the bathroom and toilet, and an unpleasant odor. The Wi-Fi kept dropping out.

I would never recommend this hotel. Don't be fooled by the "bargain" price—the quality absolutely doesn't meet even minimal expectations.

I absolutely do not recommend staying at this hotel; you'll ruin your entire experience of Samarkand.

The hotel is infested with huge cockroaches. The room is dirty, the towels are stained and clearly in need of replacement. There was a pack of cigarettes, used toothpaste, some hairpins, bottle caps, and other items lying around the room, apparently from previous occupants. After cleaning, there were some brown stains on the sheets. Keep in mind that you have to leave your keys at reception for them to clean your room and then pick them up in the evening. But they are freely accessible, and no one checks who takes which keys. In theory, you can even walk in from the street and get into any room. Moreover, when cleaning, they rearrange all your belongings, stuff them into closets, move all the jars, etc. After the first cleaning, we only asked for towels to be changed and the trash to be taken out, but they still went through everything. Ultimately, we lost a piece of jewelry. We went through everything in the suitcase and still couldn't find it. We went to reception, the guy ran to the cleaning staff, and both of them came into the room. One was jabbering something in Uzbek, the other was simultaneously saying in Russian that they hadn't taken or touched anything. But where did the jewelry go after the latest cleaning?

The reception manager was rude. Every question was answered with a disgruntled "What?", then he might respond reluctantly and angrily. They understand Russian when it's convenient for them, but when it's inconvenient, they can't seem to say a word. Upon check-in, the manager was asleep, but they checked us in, and the next morning they said our reservation wasn't there and demanded a new payment. They gave us a phone number where the supposed manager claimed we'd booked on a scammer's website and that there was no reservation (the reservation was through Yandex Travel). After we told them we had all the receipts, the website wasn't fake, etc., they left us alone. By the way, we still have to look for the manager; he's usually not there, so we couldn't check out for an hour and a half.

Breakfast is advertised until 10 AM, but by 9 AM, all the food looks like yesterday's breakfast, and God forbid, if there's any food at all. The staff is nowhere to be found, so we had to eat what was left: bread, sausage. There are no scrambled eggs, and no other hot food. When we finally found the staff and asked where all the food was, they made scrambled eggs, and the next morning they called us at 8:30 AM saying "breakfast is ready," apparently to prevent us from coming later. Then it's unclear why they advertise breakfast until 10 AM.
