Volidam Hotel in Samarkand

We spent a long time choosing a hotel in Samarkand.
We stayed for two nights.
What we liked: the bed linens, the quiet room, even though the hotel is on the road. Water in the room and a kettle with tea and coffee, cleaning service on the second day, new towels (3 each), and replenished water bottles. The reception and lobby are pleasant. The young people at reception were friendly and helped with our suitcases upon check-in.
What we didn't like: THE WATER IN THE SHOWER WAS BARELY WARM, weak pressure, and the room's cleanliness (although the second cleaning was excellent). However, upon arrival, there was hair and a stain on the towel in the bathroom, and a dirty mirror. Not a big deal, of course, I'm just overly attentive to details. The shower accessories in the bathroom are poor; they should have indicated they weren't there, and that would have been a bonus for those who forgot. The shampoo doesn't lather, is bright blue, and comes in reusable containers (dirty). Breakfast at 9:20 a.m. was incredibly bad. All the tables were uncleared, the food was gone, and it hadn't been replenished. On the second day, there was more food and they kept adding more, but the sliced ​​meats were all stale. The coffee machine, which already made poor coffee, was broken. By 9 a.m., I was sleepy, and the hallway was already being vacuumed. The air conditioning barely worked. The hotel is old, but cozy.
