The hotel has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to Registan Square. The decor is quite stylish, but the room amenities are basic, especially the bathroom. The showerhead couldn't be adjusted, so the floor was flooded after showering, and the water temperature kept fluctuating, which was quite frustrating. The room's soundproofing was poor; I could hear laughter and snoring all night.

Breakfast is nothing special; it's just a basic meal to fill your stomach. However, it's worth noting that the room is cleaned daily.

Similar to other reviews, the drain had a strong odor, and the soundproofing was average. Aside from that, everything else was fine. It's very close to Registan Square, and the area around the square is lively. However, there's no free shuttle service; they just help you call a taxi. If there's no one at the front desk, you can ring the bell.

Very nice hotel, clean room and friendly staffs. It is also not far from the main touristy places. Very recommended to stay here!

Hotel Malokanda is conveniently located in the old town, making it very easy to visit major historical sites. The area is quiet and suitable for walking around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it is a good choice for sightseeing in Samarkand.

The location is great, only about a five-minute walk to Registan Square. The rooms are clean, bottled water is free, and the staff are very polite.

A very nice hotel in the best location, only 5 mins walk from the Registan. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Very comfortable bed and a good shower. No complaints at all. Breakfast was nice, simple but a perfect set up for the day. Friendly English speaking staff. We would definitely stay here again. ( last pic, from Chorsu Chaihana, very close to hotel. Delicious!)

The bathroom door is poorly fitted, so it's best not to lock it. I got locked out and had to call the front desk on my cell phone to have it opened.
There seem to be three people working at the front desk on a rotation basis, but two of them were incredibly kind.
Cleaning is available if you ask the front desk.
The breakfast was of a low standard, or rather, the air freshener in the breakfast area? The detergent smell didn't suit me.

The manager picked me up in the train station when I arrived at midnight! Also they paid for my taxi back to the train station. They are very accommodating! The room is also spacious! This is conveniently located near Registan square- a mere 5 minute walk!
