The hotel is beautiful, but the entrance is a bit hard to find. The shower is difficult to adjust — the water is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast runs out very quickly and the options are quite limited.

Staff were a bit stand offish here. Hotel is nice and clean although rooms lack natural light. The common area creates noise because of the way the hotel is deigned. You can get wine but you can’t get a beer. WiFi is poor which is an issue because the TVs are WiFi connected so did not work. Located 2km from the main square. Breakfast was poor.

From the very beginning Anvar and his team were super hosts and attentive! It was a classic and stylish mansion. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. Since it was the furthest room, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and the bed mattress needed replacing. It's within walking distance of Siap Bazaar. There are no large supermarkets nearby, but there's a small one 350 meters away. It's about a 400-meter walk to the restaurant.

A wonderful small family-run hotel, good value for money. I booked through Booking.com, and a room cost me just $20. The interior has an authentic, colorful design. It's located near the historic center. We had trouble with the shower pressure, so ask the hostess how to turn on the water motor. The breakfasts are delicious.

The hotel is easy to reach from the train station by tram 2 and is close to the Siyob market. It's a traditional hotel and our smallish room looked like a fairytale with velvet and bright colours. The bed was quite hard, and the original sheets too small until we asked for bigger ones. The shower was old and the water not always hot. Breakfast was okay, staff very friendly.

Everything is good, but there was no air conditioning in the room. In this heat, it is simply necessary.

A very pleasant place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Nice seating areas in the inner courtyard to enjoy the complimentary tea. Very close to the main sights. It is advisable to arrange a transfer from the station via the hotel to avoid getting ripped off by the taxi drivers. Note that payment is cash only.

Great place to stay. Very comfortable room (although mattress was getting soft and curtains are needed on the door). Good air conditioning. Plentiful breakfast. Close to the historic attractions, but some distance from the restaurant areas, post office etc.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. We were welcomed with tea and local treats. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Around the hotel plenty of restaurants and shops. Breakfast buffet was OK.

Helpful staff who can speak English. Clean and spotless room and bathroom. Quiet place outside hostel hubs where you can avoid Lonely Planet travellers. Very good value for money like one of the cheapest in Samarkand with short walking distance to Registan. Breakfast included. Functioning air-conditioning. So glad that I booked here to save budget while enjoying my stay

Great budget place; convenient location, friendly staff, low price, nice yard, decent toilets, comfortable and clean beads. The only downside is light, all the bulbs are cold white light and too bright, it gives the factory work atmosphere, which makes relaxing after an exhauting day of sightseeing a bit challenging...

The host is a gentleman. Their family and kids are very hospitable and friendly. The location is very close to Panjakent center. Walking distance to most of the necessary places. I loved it and it's recommended l.

I stayed at this guesthouse for two nights. The owner and staff were very hospitable and provided everything I needed. The hot water came out as soon as I turned it on, and there was nothing to complain about. I highly recommend you stay at this place!

The place is fine, some services should be improved like breakfast and bathrooms. The location is fresh and typical, and people there are nice. I published some photos so you can have a look. Many people with different request stop by, and the place have space for everyone, cars and bikes, as well as regular travelers. Mainly for young people, rather than families.

Three generations live here. It felt like visiting a family home, and it was great to get a glimpse into local life. It was a charming difference from a large hotel. It was also helpful that the owner speaks English and accepts credit cards. Although his wife doesn't speak English, we communicated via app, and she was always smiling and kind. They were quick to respond when we ran out of toilet...

The guesthouse also has a shared restaurant. Breakfast is decent, and you can buy drinks and snacks at the property, which is convenient. However, if you visit during the hot season, make sure to get an air-conditioned room. Samarkand can be unbearably hot at night. They also provide a residence registration card.

This is a family-run hostel. There's a shop next door, so you can easily find drinks, snacks, and more. The bathroom and toilet are shared, but they're separate, so the floor isn't soggy when you go to the toilet. The breakfast was delicious. The neighbors were friendly, and when they realized we were Japanese, they would greet us every time we passed by and invite us in for tea. There's a naan baker...

The interior is clean and beautiful.

A very nice hotel, great environment, five-star rating. The hotel is very comfortable, with a large courtyard. The front desk service is excellent, the atmosphere is very nice, and the host is very friendly.

Very nice people. I asked for laundry options and they even washed the bag I gave the clothes in 👍

I was initially surprised by the mixed-use room, but I quickly adjusted. The neighbors were pleasant and quiet, and no one disturbed anyone else. The hosts were pleasant and helpful when needed. All the sights were within easy reach.

The owner has no legs, is very talkative and speaks good English. It's a typical Muslim family, with carpets and very clean. It's not far from Registan Square, just over ten minutes' walk away.
