Best place in all our trip in Uzbekistan. A great team managing an excellent renovated hotel. Highly recommend the luxurious room with living area. Also the food at the restaurant is very good! You won't fail staying here during your days at Tashkent

The hotel is a great trade off to visit the city, enjoy some time by the pool, and have reasonable price!
It is managed by young staff, but very attentive to client needs.
Rooms are not super new, but on the other hand are very spacious!

This was for the start of a solo trip to travel around Uzbekistan. From the late night pick up service from the airport, to the kind and helpful staff, my time at the Sharq Hotel was a wonderfully calm start to my journey. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Lots of places are accessible by foot and it is right beside one of the most central metro stations. My room was large, cool and comfortable. It was excellent value for money and very safe. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel and a lovely swimming pool in a garden. I cannot recommend it enough for the start of a journey to Uzbekistan. Especially the kind and wonderful staff team.

I am not a fan of this hotel. Service was lackluster. The credit card reader had long been out of order to I had to find a bank to exchange funds to pay the bill. The pool was closed with no notification or explanation. The breakfast times were moved with no notification or explanation -- just a shrug. Front desk staff could not tell us how to find the rail station. In short, the staff were indifferent and inept. Breakfast, when it was actually open, was fine and the one staff member very pleasant. The hotel is near a metro station and aircon works fine

I stayed there in the beginning of June and regretted that I chose this hotel. Next time, I will choose a different hotel in Tashkent. Staff members at reception were very rude and ignorant, not helpful at all. The interesting part was all of them are male, sitting and standing there and have no respect to women. I felt that a different reception staff can give you a different price for the room or extra bed. I was charged at one cost, and next day I was asked to pay more, and no receipt was provided. If you respect yourself and be respected, don't stay in this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel in May 2019 and paid by card for my accomodation. Yesterday, afer 1,5 years they tried to charge the same amount from my account again! The guy at reception said that was a server problem. Which server: the hotel or the bank?? He said money would not be written off my account. But I contacted my bank to block this transaction anyway. Be careful and think twice before making a payment by card in this country.

Very cosy and bright hotel with a small number of rooms, friendly and helpful people and a very cozy courtyard with a swimming pool even in the fall! The price and the quality is great compliance! Recommend.
