The worst hotel ever, dirty and service very poor! bed sheet so dusty and lots of mosquitoes and bugs! You can hear lots of sounds during the night! Don't ever book this hotel!!!!!

This is truly, truly the worst. Seriously, don't ever go here. The room was dirty, there was no soundproofing, it smelled bad, and there were so many bugs. I've traveled a lot, but this is the absolute worst. Because of this one hotel, I'll never go to Phu Quoc again. It's the worst accommodation of my life. If you go, you'll definitely regret it.

The room was terrible. We booked three nights but only stayed one. We got bitten by many mosquitoes and didn't sleep well all night. My child and family complained. The hotel breakfast had many small insects, so we didn't eat it.

Do NOT book this hotel, it's a huge trap, run! Facilities: AC - broken, water heater - broken, water pressure - a trickle, bed - collapsed. Hygiene: Mold in the toilet, mold in the room, towels stiff and black, dust piled up on the window sills. You'll have mosquitoes, geckos, large ants, and many small insects keeping you company in the room. Environment: Rural and remote. You have to walk 700 meters to get to the roadside SPA/hair wash. It's 1.6KM from Long Beach. Service: It took over an hour to switch rooms. They ripped me off with the scooter rental (outside shops charge 70-80k VND/day, the hotel charged me a 400k VND deposit, and only returned 200k VND after I rented for one day).

Stay here, change the water, use a filter, and the water is brick-colored. You have to clean it yourself, the door won't lock, there's no soundproofing at all, you can't get a Grab, and when we go in, the drivers get lost and ask us for directions. Is it okay to have 100 flies in breakfast?

At first, I couldn't find the hotel, as it's actually signposted on the road under the name Le Garden Resort. The old sign for Countryside is on the left side of the driveway, looking rather dilapidated. My first impression was already pretty bad...

At check-in, I was asked to pay even though I had already paid in advance.

I was shown to my room and let in. As it turned out, I had a room with two bedrooms and two double beds.

A nice upgrade, but I couldn't use it since I was traveling alone.

The air conditioning in the room was already running at 20 degrees Celsius. As I discovered, there was no remote control or any other way to adjust it; it could only be turned on and off using the card on the front door. A strange system. However, I didn't need the air conditioning at night, as it was quite comfortable without it.

Since I wasn't given a key, I went back to reception and received one. I could only get into the room, though, because a staff member explained that the lock wasn't turned left, but right (??). Also strange

The room and bathroom are old and worn. I only used the kettle once because it was too dirty and old.

The towels are old and stiff. The shower has no screen, so the bathroom floor is flooded after showering.

The pool is large and was cleaned by hand (just wiping down the grime around the edge), so I decided not to use it.

The loungers were made of wood without cushions and therefore didn't look comfortable.

Breakfast the next day was a joke and I wouldn't recommend it. There was only instant coffee, an omelet/fried egg upon request, and a few other not-so-tasty items like dry white bread, strange-tasting ham, and dry rice.

The only bright spot: I found the location very good for my needs—quiet and central. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

At first glance, the entire complex actually looks quite nice and promising, but it's neglected and worn down and desperately needs a deep clean and renovation.

I cannot recommend this "resort" and it is not worth the price.

We wanted to stay at M Resort, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. We made a reservation, but upon arrival we discovered that the hotel is extremely noisy. On the street side you can hear absolutely everything, and on the opposite side there is a power generator that runs 24/7 — the noise is similar to a lawn mower. It is impossible to relax in such conditions.

We were moved to another hotel, but we had to pay extra out of our own pocket. M Resort did not want to take responsibility for the noise or refund us for the inconvenience.

The hotel has two pools:
• one by the street — unfortunately dirty,
• the other at the back of the resort — clean but very small and still noisy because of the generator.

The gym is basically a joke — it’s hard to even call it a gym.

In summary: this hotel is not suitable for rest or relaxation. It is loud everywhere, the conditions do not match what is advertised, and the staff showed no willingness to solve the issue. I do not recommend this place, especially for anyone looking for peace and comfort.

The hosts are great, welcoming, and quick to resolve any issues! The breakfasts aren't great, but you won't go hungry—eggs, bread, corn, potatoes, and pasta. It's okay for the price! The kids swam in the pool until late, and no one chased them away.

Pros:
The location is excellent. It’s close to all key amenities such as beach line, supermarkets, restaurants, and the bus station, yet still pleasantly tucked away in the shade of lush greenery. The blue pools surrounded by palms, banana trees, and dense foliage create a serene atmosphere, and the cozy houses are well equipped. The staff is extremely attentive, speaks good English, and responds quickly to any inquiries. Daily cleaning is thorough, and the breakfast is very good, not highly diverse, but consistently high quality.

Cons:
The photos are slightly more picturesque than reality. For example, when booking a “jungle view,” we expected a more direct jungle outlook, rather than nearby houses or a wall. This isn’t a major issue, just something to keep in mind. Additionally, it would be helpful if maintenance checks were done before guests arrive. For instance, the room lock had a low-battery warning that eventually caused the door to lock us out. This could be easily anticipated by the staff, as the lock provides clear signals that we’re not clear for us, but should be for the staff. Again, it’s a minor point, but addressing it would make the experience even better.
