Mövenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc

We had an incredible stay at Movenpick. The resort is amazing with luxurious villas and facilities including table tennis, a great gym, day spa, multiple pools to choose from and a really nice beach.
The free bicycles were so much fun, as well as the golf buggy rides, and both of these made the resort so quiet and peaceful.
Buffet breakfast was delicious, so many options and different everyday.
The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay, and sorted out any issues.
The villa was so well maintained and huge, every room was so generous in size and there was plenty of space for everyone.
The resort was quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed relaxing by our private pool just as much as the big pool by the beach.
An oasis of serenity, we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back and recommending to all of our friends and family.

Loved our stay here! We came here recently and got the Family Studio—two bedrooms with separate full bathrooms, one mini kitchen area and each room had its own balcony! The view from the balcony is amazing. Also, the rooms were pretty spacious, clean and comfy.

The residence side is a bit far from the main Movenpick hotel side, but they offer complimentary rides to/from the complex in their golf carts. We got free breakfast included, at the restaurant downstairs, and really enjoyed the food there!

Solid resort with room for improvement!

Positive:
- first of all, let me emphasize that the staff is amazingly friendly and provides a nice experience (despite the occasionally low level of English as other reviewers have been complaining about).
- Food options (especially breakfast) are great and cater for every cultural background (Western, Asian, etc.). Could have more options for guest with dietary restrictions, though.
- We stayed at the Residence and not the hotel which was a blessing in disguise: Compared to the residence, hotel is (pool, beach, restaurant) is very noisy and has a lot of entertainment (blasting music etc.) which could have been due to Christmas holiday. The residence however was very quiet and gives you the chance to unwind at the pool.

„Negatives“:
- cleanliness of the floor in our room was not satisfactory and we asked housekeeping to clean the room again. They came within 10min after calling
- for the amount of rooms, to little sunbeds / bean bags at the beach in particular
- for a 5* hotel, I‘m expecting f&b service at the beach - would give the hotel additional revenue too

Overall, good value for money, but still room for improvement.

Superb place and the staff are amazing. They looked after us by getting us medication when someone came down ill (flu). Amazing location on a beautiful island. Couldn't want more food and staff were superb highly recommended.

That's a fantastic place for couple or family, they have 2 choice villa and residence or hotel, we spend 2 day in the residence, the room was huge and acceptable price to compared with others Hotel in Ong Lang, my room have big bathtub and Lake view also can see the sunset from the sea.

The breakfast is mixed between Asians and Western , choice for vegetarian people as well, The Vietnamese coffee was supers and the bloody Mary cocktail for breakfast also impression.

Restaurant ia clean, staffs is smiling, friendly and helpful even though they speak English not fluent but try understand by gesture or writing , good service.

Front office was amazing warm welcome with welcome drink and arrange taxi whenever we need to go to the town.

The resort have some activities in weekend Friday and Saturday at the main pool, Aura restaurant. Can Also try western food from Islander and local Herring salad.
