Chen Sea Resort & Spa in Phu Quoc Island

Very calm and clean

I was able to relax in a quiet environment. Although it's a small resort hotel, I was able to enjoy a sophisticated time surrounded by nature. For breakfast, you can freely choose the fruit in front of you to make your own fresh juice. It was delicious.

The room is located in a quiet and somewhat secluded private area by the sea. There are only a few rooms in total, so it's very peaceful and undisturbed, allowing you to fully enjoy a different lifestyle. I was very lucky to get an upgrade; the experience of a beachfront villa was so much better. The view of the ocean right from the room door was quite breathtaking, with sunshine and sand.

I stayed at three or four different hotels in Vietnam this time, experiencing the romance and vibrancy of the sunset town, and also feeling the lively atmosphere of central Phu Quoc Island (I even met an angelic little dog named Qiuqiu at my guesthouse). But unsurprisingly, for the last two days, I fell in love with the unique tranquility and freedom of Chen Sea.

Perhaps it was the spacious lobby, the unique welcome markings in the rooms, or maybe it was the detached villas facing the sea, or the sound of the waves lulling me to sleep at night…

When I watched the sunset from the beach chair in front of my room, I truly, truly, truly understood the meaning of my long hours in Hangzhou! After taking a few quick photos, I told my boyfriend I wanted to experience it for myself.

During my two days at Chen Sea, I could feel the staff's care and love for the place. Having been a hotel for over ten years, the beach is always spotless, the beach mats on the chairs are always clean (they're collected and washed every night, including the hammocks), and the beach towels are always promptly put away and put away... They're never left damp on the mats, ensuring the next guest gets soaked. She hasn't become complacent about "maintaining" despite her long history in business.

This is a very unique resort. Chocolates are placed on the bedside table as a welcome gift. The beds also have mosquito nets, creating a very atmospheric feel. The room fragrance is also very distinctive. The only downside is that during peak shower times, there might be no hot water; even after half an hour, the bathwater was still cold. However, from the terrace outside, you can hear the sound of the waves. And if you're lucky enough to see the stars, the starry sky is breathtaking. The restaurant food is acceptable; if you come during the rainy season, the air can be a bit sticky. Overall, the resort is very relaxing and highly recommended.

The hotel was great! My only minor quibble is the poorly maintained road leading up to the entrance; it would be absolutely perfect if that could be fixed. Still, it didn't significantly affect our overall experience.

A wonderful hotel! The staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, were absolutely exceptional. Our bungalow with direct access to the sea was excellent. Just a hundred meters from the hotel, you'll find a motorbike rental and a small shop. The hotel's restaurant was definitely up to par, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. If you're looking for a hotel for a quiet, comfortable getaway, this is absolutely the place! We would love to return to this hotel!

The view is absolutely stunning; it's an oceanfront room with direct access to the beach from the balcony. However, for a resort, the food quality is quite mediocre, and it's also very inconvenient to venture out. The minibar and in-room snacks are virtually non-existent, and you even have to bring your own bottled water.
