We stayed in a bungalow, everything seemed fine, and you could swim in the pool in the evenings. It's located uphill, so it's good for those who enjoy walking.

Simple hotel with a garden view and a pool, kids can play around the garden in the morning and jump into the pool in the afternoon.
Chill and easy environment.
Bathroom is a bungalow behind the room door, very nice experience, makes you feel like in the jungle.

Very helpful staff, good presentable food, prompt transport if required but there are scooters for hire on site.
Lovely resort but be aware you are on a steep hillside and the main street with shops, restaurants are only 6-8 min walk downhill.

For the price/quality ratio, the former is clearly inflated. The rooms are very dirty and old, with mold on the light fixtures. Breakfast is decent but nothing to rave about. Lizards and frogs are par for the course here, but it depends on how you feel about them.

Do NOT book this hotel! It's a complete scam. After booking a room, we arrived and the staff dragged us to a completely different, terrible hotel – a real dump with no proper bathroom, just a mud pit. It was a total switch from what was pictured online. All the good reviews must be fake. If you're coming to Phu Quoc, definitely avoid this place, you'll just get ripped off. Plus, the service was absolutely horrible, practically non-existent.

Decent hotel. Clean pool. It's a 30-minute walk downhill to the sea.
The Wi-Fi is good and stable.
Breakfast is simple but tasty.
